Through a college friend's recommendation, I gave this place a try. Since then, I've gone to them for everything. In the last year, I've had them replaced my rear brakes and rotor, change and install all 4 of my tires, patch a tire that had a nail in it, along with a synthetic oil change. Huy has done wonderful work for all of them. I've also built a nice rapport with Thanh, the front desk person. A few weeks back, when there was huge snow storm which cause many downed trees, ice felt on my car while I was driving and cracked my entire windshield. I gave Thanh a call, and even though they don't do glass repair, he gave me a price estimate on what windshield replacements usually cost, so I get the best deal when searching. I had a very pleasant experience with these decent-seeming mechanics after a string of rather unpleasant experiences with other nearby, "well-regarded" sleazeball mechanics. They seem knowledgeable and friendly - explaining what is wrong with your car without being condescending and trying to make you feel like an asshole in doing so (as so many other mechanics seem to take zeal in doing), or like they're doing you a HUGE favor in working on your vehicle and stealing your money from you. Also, they keep their shop nice and tidy, rather than the shitshows I see with other garages in the vicinity. This indicates to me a well-organized and thought-out operation, rather than the chaotic situations all the others seem to be perpetually in. Lastly, they are reasonably priced and do quality work which they will stand behind, unlike some of the other local slime bags. read more

I found this place on yelp! They had the best reviews in the area. Came here for an oil change and was pleased.. even with the price. They didn't take too long and as a women I don't know much about cars so I heard some squeaky noise and the Machanic was nice enough to drive it around to figure out what was wrong. I asked for a couple of quotes and it was emailed to me the next business day! My 2nd visit was on a Saturday, I figured they would be business but I really needed a wheel alignment because I just got four tires... they had a couple of cars they were working on but took mine right away. I will continue to come to this place. It's right on 22 next to an auto glass place.. there's parking and seating inside. The shop was clean and neat and the employee Damian was pleasant to deal with . He quote a price and we stuck a deal for 720 dollars a little later he informed me that he miss Quote the price and which now was 960 . I had my father in law regular mechanic quote me approx the 1 st price Damian quote me so I end up canceling and take my car to my father in law mechanic in ny . I gave them three stars based that they seem very honest when it came to diagnosing your vehicle. Used to be Great and honest, but this time! I was charged over $100. for a new gas cap! And he had called me saying I could pick up car and cost was just $12. for a gas cap, they were not going to charge for anything else, but that changed when I got there. I had check engine light come on, went to 2 places to get the codes. One was evap emission very small leak, told them that the gas station attendant had, just days before codes came on, dropped my gas cap on the ground, but I did not see any noticeable crack in it. Explained to them some issues car had been having pertaining to front left speed sensor code, but they completely ignored that, said was not presently throwing the code so they could do nothing to check it???? I asked if they did the smoke test to find evap emisson leak, but was told no, they just used computer that said gas cap was only problem. So mechanic cannot manually check anything? I could have brought a gas cap on my own for ~$20., but instead out over $100! I'd been going to this place for years and had even referred people to them. No MORE! read more

They are very professional and honest and they always do a great job. They give you an itemized bill and explain everything to you and their prices are very reasonable. The first time I took my car here I had a check engine light and my regular mechanic couldn't figure out what was wrong. So I took my car here instead, and the mechanic figured out that one of the parts probably shrank a little because of the cold weather and was giving a false check engine light, and he was right; when the weather was warm the light went away. The second time I came here, an oil change guy from another place said my brakes needed to be changed. I brought my car here and they said that actually I had a lot of brakes left and it didn't need to be changed and they test drove it to make sure. So, even though it is a bit far for me, I think it is worth coming here for the peace of mind that you are not going to be cheated. read more
