The staff was really nice and they were willing to drop me off at my desired destination while they worked on my car. There was a nice waiting room with magazines & toys for kids and great seating. They also offer coffee or tea from a Keurig machine so I was able to enjoy some good coffee while I waited. What I didn't expect was to pay over $100 for an oil change. They didn't ask me what type of oil I wanted and most places do. I didn't think much of it. I don't drive a foreign car so the fact that I had to pay for some special type of oil I didn't want and wasn't aware was highly unusual to me. There wasn't anyone else there and maybe their prices are keeping business away. They advertise auto & truck sales so maybe that's where the pricing comes in? I mentioned my hearing impairment and they seemed very courteous on how they spoke to me, which I definitely appreciated. The front entrance is wheelchair accessible & there's plenty of room in the lobby. read more

Extremely professional . George is honest and very accommodating atmosphere . I have been dealing with SUPERTOOL for 25 years .

Honestly the BEST experience ever! They thoroughly explained the repairs my truck needed and informed me of potential safety concerns. After discussing these safety concerns with George and Carlo, I felt reassured that they had my best interest in mind. Unlike other shops, they took the time to educate me on what these parts do and how they function. Also, I was very impressed with how clean they keep the shop and office/ waiting area. They really go above and beyond. Based on my experience, the entire crew at Super Tool Automotive takes pride in their work and makes you feel like family! Great job and I can't thank you enough. You have a customer for life! -Chris read more

Had to get an oil change. What fast and easy. Great customer service. Office is clean and organized. Modern and new.

I went to this place due to good reviews and I am glad that I made that decision. If you want to have excellent car repair service, this is the place to come. My overall experience is a very pleasant one. I am very impressed by their comprehensive inspection report with the photos on it which gives me a better understanding of my car's current condition. The owner George would even greet me before I left their store which I was a bit surprised. I think it is very hard to find a good and honest car repair store and I am sure you will not be disappointed if you go there. Kalai Y read more

My Mercedes Benz 2006 C350 had the check engine light on for several months. I took it to a place first in Red Bank, New Jersey to get it checked out. They performed all these tasks on the car, but still weren't brutally honest about what was going on with the Check Engine light. I was upset. I spent $5000 on services and the issue wasn't resolved. I then took my car to Super Tool. I then showed Carlo and George the receipt and report the other place gave me. They were shocked at how much I invested in an old car with over 150,000 miles. They took a look at the car and tried to resolve the issue with the Check Engine light. George was brutally honest. The car is just very old and I would need to replace the engine. He suggested not to do it and to purchase a used car preferably a Honda or Toyota since they are reliable and affordable cars. I really appreciated his honesty. After I paid for my services, George handed over a detailed report with PICTURES of the engine. I've never come across a mechanic who provided that kind of service. Awesome. He then told me if I ever needed a pre-purchase inspection on a used car he would be happy to help me along with a very reasonable fee. He also told me not to drive my car anymore. I felt like I was in good hands. I appreciated his honesty and knowledge. Carlo the man who works at the front desk was also kind and sincere about the whole matter. I will definitely be back for oil changes. Once I am ready to purchase a new car, I plan on returning to them for all my services. Great job! read more

Honestly and integrity equals trust. Something had happened to my car in which I wasn't able to drive it. Since my car was fixed there a couple of months ago, I called George the owner and described what had happened. When he looked at the car, he mentioned that what they fixed shouldn't have caused what happened but that he'll look into it further once the car is in his shop. When he called to provide an update and took onus of it, it just re-confirmed my original opinion that I have finally found a mechanic that I can trust! Thank you George for one less worry. read more

I had my car serviced here (as well as at prior location) a few times. I had my oil changed a few times, which took a long time (one time was over an hour and a half). The other times I went in for more serious car repairs, which required I leave the car over nite or for a few days, so, which was expected. I definitely recommend this place for serious repairs. Owner/mechanics seemed very knowledgable and honest, which I appreciate. read more

I had a great experience with George, the shop owner. I came in to swap a stock charge pipe with an aftermarket for a turbo vehicle. I initially attempted this job myself but couldn't get it to work but George made it work with no struggle. I also mentioned some additional issues I had with my car which he remedied with ease at no extra cost (adjusted fuel pressure and raised my ride height). He plans on relocating a little further down the street which will give him more space to take more jobs. I plan on returning here to get more work done. Quality work is very hard to come by these days! I highly would recommend this place to a friend. They also do wheel alignments, welding, and fabrication. read more

George and the other mechanics are wonderful. They are honest and reliable and will do whatever they can to get you back on the road as soon as they can. The next location is clean and business friendly. Bring your work while you're waiting for an oil change. We have been coming here for years! read more

I'd trust my car with them. They respect their customers providing a valuable service of advice and technical skills. I have a card with nearly 200,000 miles on it and I know their transmission flush pushed its life out a while longer. Thanks guys. read more

Hands-down the best overall experience you can ask for at an automotive business. George and his staff are not only friendly and trustworthy, their top quality work speaks for itself. I would absolutely recommend to family and friends! read more

We were having some battery issues with our truck. I called up just looking for a quote. Carlo was incredibly nice and helpful on the phone. I felt like we'd be in good hands going with them right away. Because of hectic work schedules, we weren't sure when we'd be able to drop off, but we were actually able to do it over the weekend while they were closed. My husband bumped into George, the owner, when dropping off. George was super nice and my husband felt as comfortable as I did. We mentioned we thought there may have been some other issues, and they checked out our truck pretty thoroughly. They only ended up having to replace the battery, and I am beyond appreciative for their help. Super Tools Automotive is definitely going to be our go-to for all our car needs moving forward. read more

Called them last minute for a pre purchase inspection. Let's just say I absolutely needed it since I was from out of town and looking at a used car not certified. There were some red flags on the body but George, Bob, and Carlo walked me through the real defects and I was able to make an informed decision. I can't thank them enough for making the time on literally 2hrs notice and being so thorough in their inspection. They made me a smarter consumer and that's all you can ask for. They come highly recommended and if I lived here would be taking my vehicles to them. read more

Carlos is a very nice guy and also his staff. Very clean shop and great customer service. He took the time to explain everything with great patience. His price was good for all the work he did. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I will be bringing more of my business to him in the future. Great job Carlos! read more

I live in Alabama and was looking at a car in New Jersey that had a rebuilt title. I found Super Tool Automotive based on other Yelp reviews. George was so professional. He explained exactly what they will do, how they do the work and what the report will look like. Not only was he professional but also easy to speak with and offered to call the dealership I was looking at the car at to set up an appointment to have the car brought in. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, the dealership wouldn't bring the car to George's shop which to me is very telling. So while I didn't get a final product from Super Tool Automotive I can tell that they were going to do an awesome job. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to them for help if I lived in the area. I am a car nut and George and I discussed our love of racing, different tracks he has raced motorcycles at, etc. As a car person, someone who races motorcycles knows the dangers of racing so he clearly knows how to focus on details and will know what to look for regarding issues. read more

Very nice and patient. I changed oil and tires here and they aligned wheels free of charge Thanks George read more

This place is the real deal. George is closer to an engineer than a mechanic, and his attention to detail, knowledge, and precision make him the only technician I will bring my cars to. read more

The attention to detail is great at this place, and they won't overcharge you, which happens a lot. I did my research before choosing a place to get my fan belt replaced and it came to about $80 whereas most places I called told me it would be anywhere from $100 and higher. It's definitely worth it to check out this place. Just keep in mind that they are located way in the back of the parking lot because it can get a little confusing when you first get there. Will definitely be back for all my auto repairs and highly recommended. read more

This is the place to go for all your automotive repair needs! George Ribner is the consummate professional. The best thing I can say is he repairs your automobile the way he would his own. That is a statement that I have never said about another mechanic. I have been going to Super Tool Automotive for many years and couldn't be happier. Now with his soon to open new location and expansion he will be able to offer even more services. It just doesn't get any better than this! Trust me...try this professional repair facility, you won't be disappointed. read more

My new mechanic! Carlo behind the desk is great and George is a master mechanic who seems to be the most stand up guy I've had work on a vehicle in years. All in all a pleasant experience and I recommend anyone in need of car repair stop in and get an honest estimate. I'm also sending my gmail and boss since they also work on Diesel engines. The new shop will be a welcome addition but the cozy shop they have now is always busy and I imagine as word spreads and the new shop opens even busier. Thanks guys appreciate your honesty integrity and work ethic! read more

Went to another shop to get tires mounted and balanced, noticed that they put too many wheel weights on and car did not drive properly. Was very bumpy and stiff ride. Called Super Tool and went in for a balance, they not only balanced the wheels with the road force balancer properly but also took off the unnecessary weights and fixed the issue. The car feels so much better while cornering and at high speeds. Carlo, Christian & George the owner are all very polite and their work is amazing. Will definitely be coming back read more

They only shop I truly TRUST in jersey. They're hourly rate is high but their quality of work and commitment warrants the extra cost. For any complicated job I would pay them whatever they asked because I would trust they'd get it right. For simpler things I would shy away from here because even a stupid mechanic can be trusted to do some things at a lower cost. read more

A good mechanic is to your car as a good doctor is to your health. The folks at Super Tool have taken great care of my care for the last 5 years. They are honest and fair, always willing to explain what they are working on and even give a heads-up for upcoming work so I can start budgeting for it ahead of time. I strongly recommend them. read more

George from Supertool is a gentleman mechanic and business owner with dignity and heart! I called him on labor day to book a pre-purchase car inspection. Communicating with him is a pleasure since he is friendly, thoughtful and takes the time to understand your needs and answer your questions. When we arrived with the car to his brand new shop (it's beautiful - you can shoot a TV series there on car repair) he was ready for us and remained a neutral third party the entire time, committed to giving the car an assessment so thorough you would think he was the one considering buying it! He went on a strategic test drive to test the shocks, the steering and wheels, the engine and transmission, etc. He hooked the car up to his computers and then put it on the lift. After an hour, he then gave myself and the salesman his full assessment and his concerns and even brought me into the garage to point out some things for me to see. He then gave me plenty of food for thought about my options and his experiences - based on my needs (towing a fifth wheel trailer with a truck). Based on his assessment, we were able to save another 1000 dollars on the car - and if we decided to do some of the body repairs he recommends, we will surely be bringing the car to him. Thank you George! read more

Honesty, fair price, top notch work. What more can you ask for from your friendly neighborhood mechanic?

I've been taking my cars here for years, and I've always been happy with the service on the cars, and with the way that I'm treated by the owner and staff. I've had routine maintenance along with major and minor repairs. They are honest about what work is necessary, and what isn't. They just moved into a new facility that's spacious and clean. read more
