I was involved in a minor fender bender that impacted the front bumper of my 2020 Tesla Model 3, and decided to employ Peotter's after reading great reviews on this shop. They completed repairs within 1.5 weeks and made extra efforts to allow me to pick up my vehicle even after they lost power after a hurricane hit their area. The exterior hard body work performed looks clean and at the moment I'm satisfied with how it came out. The alignment of the new front bumper with the frunk and headlights looks near perfect and the paint job matches the paint perfectly with the rest of my vehicle. In terms of restored autopilot function, I will have to drive it for a bit longer to properly evaluate if sensors were properly aligned and fixed. When it comes to customer satisfaction, it's not something Peotter's just states on their website to look better. It seems to be a true core value of their business and they act with integrity as a trusted professional deserving of their high star rating. After having a ceramic coating job done on my white interior, I was not pleased with the outcome. Highly disappointed, I used them because I got a flat tire and just needed to get it plug, I usually pay $10-$15 for it. I paid double there, but that wasn't a problem. It's convenient and I figured it would be well done. To my surprise, the car kept loosing air, so I called them, the ladies at the front desk suggested that I needed a new tire at this point. I was uneasy so I took it to my regular mechanic who confirmed that the job they did was wrong, he charged me $10 and never had a problem after they fixed it. I honestly can't recommend them based on my experience I wish the outcome would've been different as they are located close to my job and they were recommended by a coworker. Sadly had the occasion to use them twice in less than two months, but happily for me, they were great. Driving in 4 yo convertible and hit a deer. Not going fast enough to set off airbag and the deer ran away after jumping on the hood. Car still drivable but the way cars are designed there was a lot of damage. Parts were a little hard to get because of COVID shutdowns but they got everything and fixed the car beautifully. Immediately after I had two small problems which I thought might have been related to the accident but they said were not - one was an easy fix and the other required a part which they ordered and put in. When I tried to pay them for the work they said no payment because wasnt that hard to do - huge credibility points there, most places charge anyway. Second was a 1998 car that I love, another impact with a deer, a glancing blow but still damage. In that situation there was a limit as to how much to pay because the car really isnt worth that much. They sourced second hand parts where they could and pushed out some of the dents rather than replacing the panel - not a perfect solution but kept the costs down enough for me to justify not writing off the car. Absolute pleasure to deal with, very happy my insurance company sent me to them in the first place. read more

Could not be happier with the job they did. Somehow I managed to hit a pole in my parking garage leaving a nice chip in the rear quarter panel. Turns out the Volvo dealership I used for a previous repair used bondo and made the damage worse. They were quick to provide a quote and schedule a repair appointment, I barely had to deal with the insurance company - they took care of it all. My wife was invoked in an accident of Bridge Ave in Summit, NJ where apparently she swirled to avoid, what she states " was a small brownish colored animal such as a woodchuck or a beaver" She then proceeded to go onto a neighbor's lawn, destroying their mailbox and then back onto the road where she hit a telephone pole. You just cannot make this stuff up. The entire front end and passenger side was severely damaged but the engine bay area was not affected. I did not think that the car would've been totaled by the insurance company. My wife called me from the scene and after she assured me that she was ok, I called a tow truck which showed up immediately however, the police were also dispatched because, at this point, it was believed that potentially a criminal action had occurred with the accident. My wife was questioned and the officers actually conducted a field sobriety test. I assured the officers that my wife does not drink alcohol at all and that she is just a very poor driver. Next an alcohol breathalyzer was administered to which she blew a 0.0 No tickets were issued and we were on our way to get the car towed to the collision shop. I would love to share the before and after pictures to anyone that requests and they just did such a phenomenal job. I never write reviews, but this one deserves it. I had an accident with my Tesla in September, 2016. Peotter's did a great job getting the car back in shape. But, the over & above is what happened today, June 30, 2021, 4.5 years later. I had a flat tire and had to have the car towed a few weeks ago. The tow truck driver said the tow crank insert was not accessible, which we assumed was a mistake when the car was repaired by Peotter's. I called Peotter's today and, despite the 4.5 year duration, they told me to bring the car in right away. They put it on the lift, looked it over and concluded it was not the repair, but user (aka tow truck driver and owner) error. They couldn't have been nicer and had me in and out in 15 minutes. I was visiting from out of town, when my car was involved in an accident. The insurance company pressured me to use one of their providers, but a quick look on Yelp showed each one of their choices had two stars or less! My sister has used Peotters over the years and was very happy with both their customer service and body work. Here's where my review is a bit different than most. The insurance company declared my car totaled. While Peotters wouldn't receive any business from me, they continued to stay engaged and offer advice, etc. Renee Peotter offered a kind ear, set up towing and offered links to explore my options. She had dealt with my insurance adjuster in the past and contacted his supervisor when she learned I had been given mis-information about my claim. Further, she made sure that I was aware of other options, including the proper blue book value for my car and what it would cost if I wanted to keep my car. Peotters provided clear and accurate information, was quick to return emails and calls, and overall, went above and beyond. I recently taken my BMW 328i here to get my number fixed. Immediately the lady, Renee at the front desk was VERY VERY nasty to me. She went to go look at my car so she leaves the office walks out the door didn't hold it open for me to follow her, did not walk a nd talk with me to discuss it, she started picking at my bumber and say "ugh this is a horrible paint job was this repaired before? Did you buy this preowned" she saying all this as she is picking at my number. finally she's done again walks fast to the office does not hold the door open or wait for me. I set up an appointment to bring my car in anyway. The week I bring it in again she was VERY nasty with me. i said good morning to her she didn't respond I said Good morning a second time in a very unhappy manner and even then she barely looked at me and said good morning. I dropped my car off on a tuesday I had not heard from the company for 3 days until i called them and asked for an update. When I called in I spoke with a different lady not reneee Who for some reason also had a VERY NASTY attitude with me until i finally got so UPSET I told the lady "Listen I am coming to get my car because you people are VERY RUDE! I have trying to be nice but I am sick and tired of your nasty attitudes. Then all of a sudden she changed her attitude! Long story short My car had to stay a full week because the insurance company had to come out to rate it again and the company is closed on the weekends so I had to pay extra for my rental car because they weren't open on the weekends. When I did pick my car up the lady Renee wouldn't even look at me. She is utterly disgusting with her attitude. My front bumper on the other hand looked good. The mechanics do good work. But I will NEVER take my car there again because Customer service goes a LONG way in my mind. Especially being a Nurse I know how far someones tones can make a BAD situation not so horrible. Would not use again - was recommended by my insurance company but had some issues with communication. Car came out fine but I found some of the work they listed and billed to be unnecessary. Had a more sever accident prior when my car was towed couldn't drive. For this repair I drove my car in and this ended up being much more expensive Again the work they did was well done but not for me. I prefer placed where the main receptionist doesn't make excuses and owns their mistakes like a professional. At the end of the day you can't please everyone (me) and sometimes it a good reminder for future customers to be nice and work hard. read more

Brought my 2015 Mercedes S550 here about a year ago for an extensive repair that totaled more than $ 50,000.00. The car suffered extensive front end damage that required the engine to be removed to repair the shock tower, in addition to a new hood, fender, door and numerous other components. The repair took 3-4 months to complete, but I was kept informed along the way by Gabrielle. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the repair, the paint texture and color match was spot-on ... from any angle in any light. The body panels were lined up perfectly. The only issues that arose after I got the car back where related to some bolts in the front suspension that were not properly torqued. I would highly recommend anyone to use Peotters, even if they're a bit out of the way and I myself would certainly use them again ... but hopefully never have to. read more

If you own anything other than a luxury car, or something expensive, I wouldn't waste your time going here, even for an estimate. Peotters will waste your time. I took my truck to peotters to get an estimate for body work/paint. 2 individuals told me that they would provide me an estimate for the work. Did a walk through and all, then took my contact info. Never heard back from them, so I physically went to the shop a second time to request the estimate. Again I was told that they were working on it and that I would have it by the end of the week. That was weeks ago. They wasted my time, and basically just "yes'd" me, with no follow through. They will tell you what you want to hear, and if in their eye they wont profit enough from the work, they will sell you out like they did me. And I was prepared to spend $10k on the job. We hit a deer, but fortunately our car was still drivable. We were quoted 5-7 days for the repair. I told Gabrielle that we needed the car certain weekends so she worked out the timing to suit our schedule. She told me the real question mark was getting State Farm in to look at the car. She called the adjuster in advance to make an appointment, and they came on time, so the car only took 5 days. They also did not have to do something that insurance company approved, so the repair cost less than expected. Everyone in the office was so pleasant from start to finish. First, I noticed their rates for every category of service are $5.00 per hour cheaper than another nearby shop which was to my surprise.
