While there I asked about tinting a panoramic all glass roof for a different vehicle. Tom was extremely knowledgeable and explained why it should not be done, while other tint shops at that time were willing to do it. Also, please note that window tint laws are not direct. What the states publish are guidelines, since there is also the laws intent to work off of. This means that if it says you can't tint front windows, courts in certain states will allow it if it's a light tint, that one can see through.

It's owned by one of the friendliest couples I've ever come across. They're passionate about cars and treat my car like it's their own. On several occasions, the car is ready later than anticipated. It's not because they're behind schedule. Rather, they are going the extra mile to ensure every part of my car is perfect. I have a matte paint job, and it's a lot of maintenance to keep up. Every time I bring it here, it looks like the day I drove it off the dealership. On two occasions, I've had paint from a car I (gently) swiped on the body of my car. Somehow, they managed to get it off without dulling the matte. Magic. I've had my car detailed several times, got a light ceramic treatment, and even got my windows tinted here. They do it all. The work was sloppy. Areas like the rear diffuser and behind the license plate weren't even properly washed, which is unacceptable for a service that's supposed to include clay bar and paint correction. Corners were obviously cut. Basic detailing was ignored--the trunk wasn't opened or cleaned, and the inside of the rear window was left dirty. This is detailing 101. The workmanship feels careless and lacks pride. As someone who knows cars, I can confidently say this was a poor job. If you work hard for your money, don't spend it here.

The morning of, I dropped off my car and spoke with Dave. He was very knowledgeable and you could tell he's been in the business for awhile. We went through the whole process and what needed to be done: the Sony system installation, connect to my backup camera and steering wheel controls, and replace the 12v cigarette lighter with a dual USB port. Dave let me know that the cigarette lighter replacement might cause some fitting issues, so he walked me through some alternatives if it didn't work out. I came to pick up my car 3 hours later and everything was perfectly installed! The total came out to $428 with tax. There were definitely some cheaper options out there but I felt comfortable knowing that the job would be done correctly the first time here.
