I have been a customer of Union collision for at least 10 years, its the only place I take my cars for body and glass. They are a family-owned business that is so amazing based on the quality of work, competentcy, friendliness and fairness. They recently replaced my front window in my Nissan Leaf. Union Collision over-communicated with me and kept me in the loop for the whole process. The insurance company wanted to use non-OEM parts, Union collision would not take the easy route, as Nissan only recommends OEM parts, this could have been a real disaster when I returned my leased vehicle. They fought for me with my Insurance company to get the OEM parts. Given the sophisticated nature of the technology in the sensors, you would not want to opt for the cheapest, Union Collision insisted on the OEM parts based on safety concerns. Amazing ! I was pleasantly surprised today when I stopped in for a hit and run bumper dent estimate. The staff was soo pleasant . My car was damaged by hail in 2009 then in 2010, received a deep scratch and indentation in the rear right panel. The hail caused several shallow dings all over the body. After both occasions, I brought my car here for corresponding bodywork. Bodywork was $44/hour in 2009, then $46/hour in 2010. The total cost of repairs for hail damage was about $3500. My insurance paid for most of it with a $500 deductible. For the deep scratch, I paid about $320 out of pocket. Worse, when you try to engage in a civil discussion, he goes ballistic - from 1 to 100 in seconds. When I asked why he wouldnt at least listen to my perspective (about work promised - not done and being overcharged) he actually shouted "because I'm right and you're wrong!!!"...then stomped away before turning and having to be held back from attacking me (All 4'8" of him. Haha) by his father and employees. So heed my warning. Get it all on paper and pray nothing needs to be addressed after the work is done. Brought my car there after someone backed into my driver side door. They were friendly and prompt with helping me. Wrote me an estimate on the spot. Called in, took my car in and they estimated about 10 days to fix. They we're done in 4 days. Paint matches perfectly and looks like nothing ever happened. I was also surprised to find a bottle of touch-up paint for me car! I did find a few imperfections on the panel a day after though. Looks like something got under the paint when they were painting. It's not noticeable at all unless you look for it. I'll bring it in to get it fixed when I have some time. Doesn't bother me much though. I will update after I have them look at the door for warranty work. I would highly recommend this shop for any body service and will definitely take my car there anytime i need body work done. read more
