I'm going to keep this review short and sweet. I have bought a few cars in my day and we all know that feeling of anxiety and annoyance when getting ready to go car shopping. Just the thought of the whole process, all the people you have to deal with, and the typical frustrations in the negotiations can make you want to just keep your current car another year. Well, to my surprise, the whole experience from start to finish was beyond my expectations at Douglas Infiniti. From the greeting when I walked in, to the straight forward but extremely nice and professional demeanor of Carey, in to the finalizing of things with Chris in finance, the team went above and beyond to make everything smooth and simple. Overall my dealings with the team was fantastic and Carey was awesome. I am writing this on behalf of my sister. I would never suggest anyone going here to purchase a vehicle, especially not if you are a female and you are alone. This place is the definition of a bad car dealership. You couldn't pay me to go here for a vehicle.. My sister had fallen on some hard times she had been laid off from her job, but recently purchased a used preowned Jeep from the dealership. I had a bad feeling about it from the day she said she was going to purchase it. Add to that as soon as she picked it up she realized that the air-conditioning did not work and they wanted to charge her $1800 to fix it meanwhile all it needed was Freon. Anyway, they gave my sister a different jeep to use while hers was sitting somewhere. I don't know the whole story but all I do know is that she apparently had missed a payment and they began to harass her relentlessly. I've never seen anything like that in my life. They basically lured her back into the dealership to tell her that they needed the other vehicle back, but that they would do everything in their power to help her keep her car. The guy's name was Matt. He's the finance manager and he's really just a disaster and a liar. Once my sister was there, they basically harassed her and told her that the loan company had kept calling them to cancel the loan because they claimed she did not have car insurance my sister is all of 85 pounds soaking wet they tormented this poor girl to the point that when she went outside into the original car that she had gotten from them, she couldn't drive. She called me hysterical on FaceTime and I had to use my entire lunch hour to try to calm her down, but the worst part of it was she turned the phone so that I could see it and Matt and the original salesman just stood there, staring at her, just letting her cry in her car, a female, a tiny little female, all alone, crying like that terrified out of her mind as they said that they would have the police come to make an escort to remove the car that was unnecessary to do to her. This is why women should never go to car dealerships alone because these supposed men prey upon women. I truly hope that Matt has a daughter and that one day she gets treated like this the way they treated her was unnecessary. The woman is going through enough. Do you not think she was mortified having to go there and say she couldn't afford the payment yet oh and by the way, they actually were mailed the check on June 27 from another family member to pay so technically she wasn't even behind. I would never ever recommend this place. I don't even understand how they're in business with all the negative reviews that they have. read more

Sharing my experience with Infiniti so you can all take warning. I've been a customer for 5 years and I have 6 payments left on my 2023 QX60. I took the car in for service on 8/14/25 to Douglas Infiniti in Summit, NJ. They gave the car back to me with a cracked windshield. They owned up to it immediately. It was two weeks before someone approved the replacement. Then another two weeks to be told they're on back order. Finally they've said there are no windshields for at least another four weeks. So, best case is a mid October replacement, if that. The crack is now about 24" long and I can be pulled over whenever a cop is having a bad day. I've spoken to the service dept., parts dept, and Infiniti customer care. The latest update is there's no update and they want to email me weekly to say there's no windshields until they have one. I presented a couple reasonable solutions to a problem that originated with them: -Let me bring to a windshield repair place and expense to them. They said No to this. -Take back the vehicle and it's 6 remaining payments ($3500 total probably the cost of a windshield anyway) and immediately sign a new lease and commit to another term. They said No to this. -Give me some incentive to sign on for another lease if they're making me wait for a windshield and to end of lease term. They said No to this. The only option to fix this is for me to make a claim on my insurance and handle the repair myself, causing my premiums to increase, yet again. While Infiniti has chosen to do nothing and just tell me to wait. So now I've advised them that I'll tell thousands of my closest friends how they're handling my situation. There's plenty of brands out there to choose from and I'll certainly be shopping around. read more

I had been a returning customer but when I came in to pay for a CPO car for my daughter they decided to charge $500 more than the price agreed on the phone because they decided to removed a door ding that was not requested by us. Out of principle I cannot complete a transaction with people that are desperate enough to ruin their reputation for $500. read more

Poor Attitude and Management: I experienced unresponsiveness and a lack of professionalism from General Manager James Sosunov, and Executive Vice President Jon Liebman, including his son Mark Liebman. These issues have not only caused significant inconvenience but also led me to reconsider my future dealings with Infiniti. Despite raising these concerns with the dealership mentioned, nothing was getting accomplished as it was a major waste of our time and energy. The only person that was "open and honest" and kept lines of communications open was Geri. She contacted us on a regular basis, to keep us informed whether the updates were positive or negative and that is the way it should have been addressed by your management team. All you are looking to do is "move a unit" and forget what comes with "moving a unit" is the professionalism of a family business that is local, here in Summit, New Jersey and that follows your three core values, which we never saw. read more

I don't like unprofessional service when it comes to my Infiniti car! I don't like being told by a supposed customer service manager, Patricia, that "I like to argue!" when inquiring about recent mix ups in paid auto services...??? I don't like coming in for an oil change, which takes five hours, to be told I need a "coolant flush" and "power steering flush" at about 200.00 each. I did appreciate the loaner car, however I like my car and want it serviced in a fair and reputable manner. Your coffee, donuts and lounge are nice however, keep trust and professionalism in the forefront of all services. Without trust you have nothing! read more

I am one of those people who does a bunch of research before buying a car. I am a librarian, I'm aware of car schemes, and I know what I'm looking for. I do everything on the internet before heading out to the dealership. Armed and ready for battle with the specs and pricing, I got in touch with the Internet person, a guy named Josh K. I think he got back to me in record time and set up an appointment for me to see that car that I wanted. I went in and Josh introduced me to Steve S., who would be my actual sales consultant. I guess the internet person doesn't handle the exact sale, but Josh made sure that I had everything I needed ahead of time. I have to say that in all my years of car shopping, this was the best experience. I remember walking into a dealership back in the late 80s and having someone try to sell me a car because they said I'd look good in the color green. Ugh! I've had salespeople sneer when I said I wanted a manual transmission, figuring I couldn't drive it. Of course I can, otherwise I wouldn't be asking. I didn't get any of those hassles at Douglas. No run-around, no mysterious finance offers, just straight shooting. Even the woman at the desk, Abby D. (her card lists her as Auto Alert but I'm not sure what that means), was extremely pleasant and helpful. I was in and out in less than 2 hours, everything was handled in a professional manner, they didn't hassle me about coming in with pre-approved financing from my own bank, and they never spoke down to me. They seemed to appreciate the fact that I'd done my homework ahead of time. I was very pleased with the service I received from Aaron Goodwin at Douglas Infiniti. When I arrived the 2017 QX 30 that I was interested in looking at was ready to test drive. We went on an extensive test drive so I could get a good feel for the car. I had mentioned that there were some other vehicles I was interested in, so he suggested that I take a look at them. I even test drove a QX 70. At the end of it all, I ended up loving the QX 30 and got a great deal on it. My car buying experience was hassle free and I drove away in my QX 30 which I really love! SUPER SNAKE SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 0 STARS!!!!!!! I bought a new car 5 months ago. I've called across the 5 months to ask them to pay off my trade in loan, on a bmw m6, so it is obviously a significant amount of money. They keep dodging my calls and it looks like I will need to get a lawyer because the trade in pay off is part of the contract. At least I made sure of that, since I know leaving that information out of the contract is a common scam. I additionally still don't have tags for my car. Additionally a manager told me it was last registered in NY since I was concerned that it had a few mods to it, which turned out to be a lie. I still haven't gotten it inspected since I don't have the tags yet but I won't be surprised if there are problems. Poor value and service. After a couple of good experiences with minor services (e.g. oil/filter changes) I was rubbed the wrong way when evaluating where to do my 30k service. The highlights: - strike 1: I left a voice mail after a busy service dept couldn't take my call directly (np ordinarily except they never called me back!) - strike 2: I discovered that the Infiniti dealer in PA (where I bought the car) offered virtually the same service for $190 vs $665 at Bennett - strike 3: I asked Douglas Infiniti to match or at least explain the 3.5-fold price difference and they offered nothing In short, hardly the customer service oriented approach I'd expect. Although Douglas Infiniti is more convenient for me I plan to take all future business (service and purchases) elsewhere. I recommend you do too. read more

Douglas Inifiniti does it right! My father has been utilizing them for years and I am now as huge a fan as he is. The overall space is clean and elegant and the staff is great. This is a car dealership, let's not forget, so I'm not saying this place is THE only place to go to be sold. But as a salesman myself I know that selling is 20% of the transaction and the rest is SERVICE SERVICE SERVICE. That is the differentiator for these guys. I was practically stalked (not in a bad way) once I got the car out of there to see how things were going, wanting to answer any questions, and asking to come in so they can make sure we are fully aware of all the car's features. I am contacted by mail and phone when I am due for a service, and when I go I love the facilities. The service area is practically a lounge with leather couches, TV, WIFI, free coffee, and free beverages a fridge. It's great to be able to hang out and get work done instead of just wasting away in some crappy waiting area. The staff keeps you informed on progress and the car is squeaky clean when you get it back. read more

As such, I have always received excellent customer service and felt comfortable enough to purchase two certified pre-owned vehicles from Douglas. However, over the last few years, I started to notice management changes that quite frankly have not resulted in the same positive experience that I had grown accustomed to over the years. It began when they let go of Gary Darling, who had been there forever, and a few others in the Service and Sales departments.  The last straw that broke the camel's back, was I tried several times to speak directly with Chris Ng, the current General Sales manager about extending my current extended warranty, instead someone else that I don't know called me back and quite frankly I did not feel comfortable dealing with so I left a message for Chris. Instead, my sales rep Gil Coronado called me, and said he would get back to me (still waiting for that call btw). Finally, I emailed Chris directly about this matter a few days ago, and have yet to receive a reply, instead what I received was an offer to buy another vehicle. Anyway, apparently there's no longer any loyalty at this dealership, even for a 20 year customer. As such, I will no longer frequent this dealership for any future vehicle purchases or service related matters. Turns out I was misled/lied to by Carey. When I asked the dealership to get out of my deal because one of the features listed on the window sticker doesn't work in the U.S. they denied responsibility and told me to contact the corporate office. The corporate office told me to deal with the dealership. It's upsetting to be treated that way after 20 years. Carey and Jaime, The sales manager wouldn't acknowledge responsibly and they would not let me talk to the owner, John Liebman, who I have also known for 20 years. Do not work with this dealership. I'm one of those nightmare customers that dealers break into a sweat when they see coming. I've done hours and hours of research, read all the information in Consumer Reports and online, and have price shopped my choices to the Nth degree. I walked in here in 2012 looking for a SUV to replace my aging Lexus, but discovered the Infiniti was too small for the amount of stuff I sometimes need to carry in the back. I was ready to leave, when my salesperson Aaron told me about a new vehicle coming out, the JX. He pulled out all the information he had on it, and it seemed to be perfect for my needs. I pulled out my phone and did a lot of research, and decided this was probably going to be the right car for me. Both Aaron, and the GM Ed, worked with me to not only give me the price I wanted on the JX, but to give me a fair trade in value on my Lexus. There were no high-pressure sales tactics, so bait-and-switch, none of the things that give car salesmen a bad name. It was a pleasant, classy experience and I highly recommend anyone looking for an Infiniti to use Douglas. Since purchasing my vehicle, I've only used their service department. The pricing for service is less than what I was paying on my Lexus - they don't try to gouge you. The staff here has always been friendly, helpful, and has gone the extra mile to make sure I was fully satisfied. All dealerships should take a lesson from Douglas. read more

First dealt with Jamie Jimenez (I think he does internet sales). He was prompt and courteous in responding to my emails. He did the legwork in getting us a good deal and getting us in there. From then on, we met the sales manager Jamie Fishbane and our salesperson Joseph Mohr. Both were a complete pleasure to deal with and were just gentlemen. In December 2016 I bought another used car from another NJ dealership and was totally taken advantage of, lost $10,000. In May 2017 I went to a 2nd NJ dealership and after my test drive the price increased from the price I received via email. Everyone told me dealerships take advantage of women, especially single women. Not at Douglas. I was treated with respect, given an awesome price and the service from all the staff was amazing, every detail of my used car purchase was seamlessly taken care of for me, my faith is restored, I learned my lesson the really hard way, from now on I will only do business with Douglas! Leased a new truck and received a bill for excess wear and tear on my trade in, they said they would take care of it and they did, however they told me on the phone that if I could wait until the end of the month to get a check because they were going to add my bill into someone else's deal. I know dealers do shady things but why would you tell a customer that?!? Also if you're getting service done beware they charge you for work that they don't perform. I brought my truck in 2 times for a tire rotation and I was billed for it when I picked up my truck. Little did they know I marked my tires so I knew 100% that no tires were rotated. I asked the service advisor who asked the service tech both times and they said they did, when I told them and showed them that I marked my tires then the service tech changed his answer to "they didn't need to be rotated", why charge me for work they haven't done?? If they did it to me twice imagine how many other customers they are doing this too as well. No one has answers around there and they just Adam everyone. Where do I start?! This place ran my credit without my permission, decided to be nice and give them a try. Already uncomfortable about the credit check without permission, talked to Rodger after a text or two he stopped writing me. They called me before my appointment and encouraged me to come in. Get there, the customer service was bad. Stood there for a while with a group of cis white men that wouldn't even say hello. Finally I leave and someone decided to come and assist. He escorts me in and I'm letting him know I came to speak to Rodger. Rodger walks up and didn't even introduce himself. He asked me what did I need and I reminded him who I was from our conversation over the phone and he stares at me blankly . I asked if he remembered me from the situation and the only thing he says is " I talk to alot of people". From there he asked me "what do you want to do?" No discussion, no means for my privacy in the space, just blatant lack of care for the customer. He in fact talked to me as if I was poor/in desperate need. I politely said I rather not move forward. Too many red flags and the energy is very unthoughtful in here. Not only did they waste my time but also messed with my credit without acknowledgment. This dealership is a bunch of cis men, mainly white that only care about their money and not the experience especially the thoughtfulness of black customers. Horrible experience after we took delivery. We bought a CPO, which is supposed to mean certified pre-owned??? As per Douglas, it means car performs okay!!! Within 4 months, we had to replace the tires, brakes(front and rear)and all the filters. The dealer didn't want to hear anything and stated that the car met all the so called "requirements" put forth by Infiniti. Unfortunately, not all dealers adhere to the guidelines correctly, or go the extra mile to make sure that the vehicle is in good working order. We have purchased quite a few CPO vehicles from another dealer in NJ and received a vehicle with new tires, brakes and in 100% perfect condition. Undoubtedly the WORST service I have ever received from an Infiniti by far. The service department has had my car for over five weeks now and every week is a run around as to why its not ready yet. I understand things happen and parts need to be ordered but I've been told 5 times in the past five weeks that the car would be ready for the weekend and it has not been. I've gotten excuses as "everyone was out sick today", "the part has been here but no one has installed it yet", and "my coworker was supposed to take the car home to test drive it but could not because his wifes car broke down". IT IS RIDICULOUS. I am a paying customer and this is the fourth Infiniti I owned and this whole experience really makes me question the brand itself as long as become disgusted with the professionalism that this dealership lacks. i took my wife's 2019 qx60 in for oil/tire main....rotate tires too...i had slow leak in front right tire that needed air every week. i shouldve addressed it on my own.. 6 psi below the other tires. front tires go to the back..the back ones go to the front. .i get car back and notice the front right tire is still 3 psi below the others. if they rotated the tires like i paid for, the slow leak tire would be on back right now. turns out the mechanic didnt rotate the tires and recommended new tires w/ balancing. $1,200 for them. he also didnt tell service manager. i called back and told the highest person available and told them my experience..never again read more

I had my heart set on buying an Infiniti FX37 and had trouble finding a dealership that would give me a fair price for my trade and for a Certified Pre-Owned FX37. I had been to several Infiniti dealerships and didn't have great experiences- some were far worse than others. That was until I found Douglas Infiniti. I first spoke with Jimmy, the General Manager about coming in on a Saturday to see an FX37 that had just come in off of a return lease. Jimmy asked Carey to assist me and he took me for a test drive in the car and I really liked it. Carey is knowledgeable, very friendly and not pushy at all. He even stayed late with me on the Saturday I came in to see the car. Carey also worked with me to negotiate a fair price for my trade and also a fair price for the FX37 I was interested in buying. Jamie, the Sales Manager is also very friendly and helpful. I bought my FX37 about a month ago and I'm very satisfied. Everyone at Douglas Infiniti is great and I'm glad I chose to purchase a car there. Chris, the Finance Manager is also very helpful and found me a great interest rate in order to finance my new car. A few weeks after I picked up my car, I received a HUGE box full of popcorn from The Popcorn Factory sent by Douglas Infiniti. It was a "thank you" for purchasing a car from them and the popcorn was absolutely delicious. I shared it with my friends and family because there was so much of it! They also sent me some coupons in the mail for when I have to bring my car in for service. I highly recommend Douglas Infiniti! read more

I second with the previous posting. I went to Douglas Infiniti yesterday to get my state inspections. I too failed the inspections, they asked me to take it to a Toyota dealer. This is because they said my car's computer failed to communicate with theirs. I took the car to the Toyota dealer today, and they couldn't find any fault with my car's computer system. They suggested I take it to DMV Inspection, which I did and lo and behold, I passed the inspections. This didn't even cost me a dime whereas Douglas Infiniti charged me $84. I went back to Douglas Infiniti and requested for refund of my money since I felt something is wrong with their checking mechanism. The woman at the front desk refused to saying that it was a labor charge, regardless of the results. They run a scam business there. Please don't go to get your car inspected. What a rip off? They claim their inspection equipment is State Certified. That is questionable. Wonder what the failed inspection percentages were at this dealer. A gentleman at the DMV suggested never to get my car inspected at a dealer, then why have inspection facilities there? The state should revoke inspection facility from Douglas Infiiniti and other dealers where the failed rates were high as they definitely are running some kind of scam there. MD read more
