We ended up getting stopped by the police in Upstate New York with my young children in the car and my husband got a ticket. It ruined his perfect driving record. The dealership knew and were negligent. They just wanted to make the money. I drove the rest of the way with my perfect driving record. BUYER BEWARE - look out for the bait-and-switch. tldr: they tried to force financing for an extra 5k, despite being an Autonation 1Price (ie no-haggle) dealership While the location is really nice, and my salesperson Roger seemed quite pleasant - when it came to actually purchasing the vehicle there was a huge problem, specifically bait-and-switch, where they were trying to get me to pay $5k over the initial offer. I came in 2 days ago to purchase a 2021 X7, which was a very good deal, especially given what good shape it was in (nothing wrong with the car at all, lots of nice perks etc.). Given that they are 90 minutes away I called in advance to ask about the price ($45k out the door, which they confirmed) so I wouldn't waste anyone's time. I thought the price was a steal, so was concerned about an upcharge, but was assured twice that it didn't matter if we pay cash or finance, and that was the price (backed by AutoNation 1Price, which is no-haggle) Once we did the test drive, and I said I was ready to purchase right then and there, I was suddenly pushed, and pushed and. pushed some more into financing, being told other people were doing it, and I would lose the vehicle if I didn't finance. In essence the game here is that by financing the price is 5k more, and since they are an Autonation partner they can't haggle on price, but they can try to strong-arm you into financing, or withhold the vehicle. I knew once that happened that this shady approach meant they couldn't be trusted - I definitely recommend you steer clear. read more

I reached out to Aston Martin Summit Short HIlls to inquire about a used 2015 Audi S4 that was seen on Cargurus.com. I then received a call from Roger Schur at the dealership informing me that the vehicle was in great shape and still available. I mentioned to Roger that I was a serious CA buyer and was interested in traveling the vehicle from NJ to CA. Roger said it wasn't a problem and that he would work on getting me a quote for shipping, "since it happens all the time." A day went by and I didn't receive any more correspondences from Roger. I then reached out again after two days to see if I could reach him and again, no response. It's now been over a week, I never received a price quote for shipping, the vehicle has since sold underneath me, and as of today, I finally received an email from Roger after over a week and he graciously let me know the vehicle has since sold. Only reason I'm giving the additional star is because of their pricing on the vehicle, which actually makes my interaction that much more irritating. Awful customer service experience. I called twice to inquire about a 2012 Maserati Gran Tutismo. I simply wanted to know whether the vehicle was available for sale or not. The woman who picked up the phone told me she thought there was a deposit on the car and that the buyer was waiting for financing, but promised she would would call back either way so I could possibly make arrangements to see and test drive it. She never called back (after waiting several hours). I tried to text the dealer to inquire about the vehicle but no one responded. If you're looking for responsive, clear communication from a reputable high end dealership, I'd look elsewhere. No one seems interested in earning your business or even giving you the common courtesy of a return phone call or text. Extremely disappointed. Will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I'm from out of town and purchased a pre-owned Range Rover here in an internet sale. The staff was very professional and attentive. The price was reasonable and they were very straightforward...no hidden fees, upcharges, etc. They were also able to help me find financing for the vehicle. At delivery, the vehicle was clean and thoroughly detailed and exactly as described on the website. They even picked up he tab for my Uber from the airport! One couldn't ask for anything more. It has taken me a few weeks to gain my composure following my interaction with this dealership. A few weeks ago I contacted Summit about a BMW for sale. It was exactly what I was looking for and I did not hesitate to reach out and immediately place a $500 deposit as I had full intention of purchasing the car. It was going to be a few days before I could get to the dealership due to the distance and my work schedule. They were in constant contact with us over 3 days, making sure we were coming and setting up a time for potential delivery. The day I was going, I left work early, and drove the 63 miles to the dealership to get the car. They called me in the car on the way to make sure I was coming and check arrival time so they could have the car ready. When I was approximately 2.1 miles away I received yet another call from the dealership! This time is was to inform me the car was no longer available! It was gone, and they were sorry. WHAT????? When I arrived at the dealership, I met the smooth talking manager who was super sorry and wanted to make the situation right at any and all costs. While I am aware mistakes happen, what kind of moron takes your money and doesn't even communicate with their staff. This place is a JOKE. Back to the smooth talking manager, Mr. Gomez or something, his attempt at making things right was laughable. After my interaction with him, I didn't get so much as a follow up phone call or an attempt to locate a car for me. Well sir, I am here to tell you that I bought a much more expensive car 2 days later. Not only have you lost a sale, you lost a customer, and hopefully a small part of any reputation you may have in this industry. My advise, avoid this place like the plague!!! I would give the salesman Adelson a NEGATIVE star if I could. The place charged me over $1800 for dealer fee. I payed that only because I wanted a good service. And Adelson pretended to be very nice at the very beginning before I signed the documents. After I bought the car on September 2020, he promised to finish the registration in 2 weeks. And here we go, I just got my registration last week which is the end of February in 2021. During the 5 months, I called Adelson every month to ask about the registration status. At the first couple of months, he explained that the registration could not be finished due to the pandemic situation. And then he refused to answer my following up phone call even I only call him twice a month! I called the dealership and his colleagues covered for him and told me he will call me back but he never did. Then I received the suspension letter from DMV that they are going to suspend my registration privilege and driver license because this dealership refuse to submit my documents. My attorney told me that's absolutely not normal that they don't help to file the registration after I purchased the car. I got pissed off and finally call the sales manager. I was preparing to sue this dealership. And after the phone call with the sales manager somehow I got my registration in a week. So if you don't want to pay an expensive dealer fee and only receive the anger from ignorance of the dealership after you bought a car from there, try to be cautious with them, especially with the salesman Adelson. read more

I have been taking my 2009 AM DB9 here for service since the day they opened. Every experience has been superb. Tony and Jordan in the Service Dept are extremely knowledgeable and couldn't be nicer. My car just came back (delivered to my home by Jordan!) from their shop after some clutch work and a tune up. The car was expertly detailed (looking like new), and drives better than the day I bought it (used) 6 years ago. Summit has my loyalty for the life of this DB9, and would be the only place I would trust if I decide to upgrade. I have dealt with other AM dealerships/service departments in Philly and on Long Island, and nothing matches the treatment I have consistently gotten from Summit. Aston Martin Summit is a fraud. I had my car serviced there nearly a month ago. My check engine light showed up. They stated it was a software update issue. Not sure why the upgrade was not done during the $2000.00 service! Also the key fob did not work. The car is barely one year old. It is a 2019 DB 11. THEY HAVE NO LOANER CARS, AND NO PICKUP DELIVERY OF THE VEHICLES. BMW, Lincoln Mercury, Mercedes and Bentley, provide those options. While it sounds elitest, if you are spending nearly 300k for a vehicle, and there are issues where it is vehicle related, and you are told you can figure out how to get here or we can try to get your vehicle to you a week from now, it is just purely UNACCEPTABLE. What was even more insulting was an attempt to charge me for the battery on the key fob. The car is about 1 year old....how the hell could the battery go bad? none of the cars i have had...no matter what the price, mandated a battery change in such a short period. Pathetic and shameful...Expensive pricing...low class service. read more

This dealership is amazing. Of course you know the cars are magnificent but what you may not know is that the employees at this dealership are equally amazing, kind and welcoming. We brought our 2 boys in to check out the cars! Both are HUGE James Bond and Aston Martin fans. I called ahead to make sure we wouldn't disrupt business. Miguel contacted me and told me to come on down and bring the boys. He even told me we could explore the cars and take a few pictures. My kids were so excited. We arrived and were warmly greeted by everyone. I wish I could remember everyone's name! Miguel was not there and told me to ask for Greg. Greg made sure my boys got the full Aston Martin experience. He let them sit in the car, take a few pics and shared a few stories about the cars! Thank you so much for your hospitality!! We got amazing photos, a great Christmas card picture and as an added bonus my boys want to work harder in school so they can be successful and some day own their own Aston Martin! My husband just got back from my drive home from Lotus North Jersey (also Aston Martin Summit) where he had some standard maintenance done (oil and filter change, manual transmission fluid change, and brake fluid change) as well as having the dealership address several nits under warranty. They were amazing - spent a great deal of time actually listening to him to understand exactly what he needed them to do and was thrilled that they also did things precisely the right way (didn't use an air gun to overtighten lug bolts but torqued to spec with a torque wrench, left his oil level exactly where he wanted it, etc). They met him when he arrived and introduced their Lotus Techs to him and then they talked through the work together. Then they dropped him at the train station even though it is literally a 7 minute walk because it was raining. He can't say enough about these folks and wishes there were more people who would treat his car (and him) like this! read more

I bought a slightly used Benz from Allan Greenfield at Aston Martin Summit a couple weeks ago. I was experiencing a minor problem with one of the convenience/safety features, so I took the car to a MB dealer to have it checked out. Turns out that whoever installed the front license plate bracket (not the Aston guys) had carelessly drilled through a sensor, so the repair wouldn't be covered under warranty. Well Allan really stepped up, and immediately authorized the MB dealership to do the repair on Aston Martin Summit's nickel. You rarely see that kind of post-sale courtesy in the used car world. I would imagine that if they give somebody like me that level of service, they must be amazing for their customers who actually purchase Astons! read more

A few weekends ago, the battery on my Aston Martin Rapide died unexpectedly. After charging the battery overnight I was able to start the vehicle however I found that the passenger doors were stuck and 3 of the 4 windows were locked in the upright position. With my extended family arriving for the holidays the next day, I had to quickly scramble to find an authorized service center open and willing to take my vehicle in on such short notice. After unsuccessfully reaching out to several authorized service centers including my go-to service center Aston Martin Long Island, Aston Martin Connecticut, in addition to non-authorized service centers such as Manhattan Motorcars, I was growing increasingly desperate... until I found Aston Martin Summit NJ. Despite being closed for business that day (it was a Saturday), Tony the Service Manager came in to the shop just to take a look at my vehicle. After several hours and a few conference-calls with a member of his team, another Aston Martin Whisperer (John); my Rapide was back in action with the doors and windows fully functional. In the end what impressed me about Tony was not that he came in on his day off, but that he was extremely knowledgeable, professional yet approachable, and that he was an absolute pleasure to work with... so much so that I am committed to servicing my Aston Martin at Summit Aston Martin from here on out!
