Be very, very careful! I bought a used vehicle and the first two mistakes were mine. First, I didn't check their asking price against the average market price for the vehicle and over-paid by a lot (my fault-was in the midst of radiation treatments and wasn't thinking clearly). Second. and this is something that I have never done before. I neglected to have the vehicle inspected by a local mechanic. Big, big mistake. Within ten days, I had to have had rotors and pads brake work done on the front and rear of the vehicle AND about $350 spent on fixing an oil leak. Other posters here have identified similar problems occurring shortly after purchase. There are only two reasons for this: (1) THEY DON'T INSPECT THE VEHICLES FOR PROBLEMS, OR (2) THEY DO BUT DON'T DO THE REPAIR WORK AND DON'T ADVISE THE POTENTIAL BUYER OF THE PROBLEMS. My advice. First check the price against listings elsewhere for similar vehicles AND have the vehicle inspected by an independent mechanic. When I was in the process of buying the vehicle, I asked the salesperson why there were so many negative reviews. His response, "you can't please everyone" is food for thought. read more

Sold me a lemon with a leaky gas tank and bad thermostat. Would have given me the car with bad brakes but I forced them to replace them. My advice to everyone looking to buy a car is don't buy anything on your first day out. Ask for quotes and take those numbers home. Some other dealers would not give me a written quote, only verbal numbers. I went home and did the math anyway. I found some places were trying to play games with numbers. Maybe they are trying to take advantage of the fact most people don't do their own math when it comes to buying a car. A simple suggestion is, if a salesman won't give you a written quote to take home, then you should probably think twice about buying from them. Any good salesman will try to make you 'feel' like they are an honest person, but sometimes the numbers tell a different story. A week after my first visit I returned to Bloom Auto. In part because my math showed they were being straight forward about the costs. To be clear, they were not the only place to give me a fair quote. I visited 5-8 used car lots, and found about half appeared to be running an honest business. Bought a very well priced Subaru Forester in Jan. 2020 and could not be happier. Decent regular, guys, no games, no hidden fees, no problems what-so-ever. They didn't budge on the price, but it was priced right to begin with. I had a great experience at Bloom. Everyone was so accommodating and I got a great Mini cooper which is all that i wanted. I drove there in a rental and they took me for a half-hour drive to drop it off, and then back to their office so i could drive my new car home. Don't buy from here! My son had his car for 6 days and the starter motor broke! 11 days after having the car it had a major oil leak! We are down $1000 for repairs and towing! He was also told they would get his registration and plates and he would have to pay when he picked it up and then we waited and waited the temp plate expired and we were still waiting for title and reg and plates! Finally we were informed the title arrived but we would have to go to dmv on our own for reg and plates even though that's not the agreement we made originally with the dealer! What a total shambles! We have purchased 3 cars from Bloom over the past 4 or 5 years and still own and drive 2 of them daily. The guys at bloom have always steered us in the right direction and put us in reliable vehicles even if it meant us purchasing a cheaper vehicle than we originally had our eye on. You are always taking a chance when purchasing a used car from anywhere. There are issues that can arise that are unforeseen even by the dealer. We had an issue with one of the vehicles shortly after purchasing it from Bloom and Mike was not only very helpful in getting it repaired but even paid for the repair himself. Most dealers would have told us to get lost because once you drive the car off of the lot its your problem. Used car dealers are also unfortunately not obligated by law to disclose, let alone pay to correct, any pre-existing issues with the vehicle even if they are aware, which we found out the hard way doing business with another used car dealership. Mike has always dealt honestly with us to the best of his knowledge and ability and proven himself and his business to be upstanding and reputable. We have also sent multiple friends to Bloom and they too still own and drive the vehicles they purchased there over 2 years ago. Fine no problem got that done now the next day after that check engine light comes on took it to the mechanic the car needs a tune up new struts new engine coils I paid 1300 for that to get repaired I called the guy he said you can trade it in like really ??? After all the repairs I did to the car so now best part I finally get the title that they already had in there inventory from the date they had the car of last year and I had to pay 156 for inspection and new title cause title they gave was a dealer title and best part they said they can't help or do anything for me it's cool doe I got a layer to take care of this I got receipts and everything I don't recommend these people at all ripoffs and scam artist to sell u anything smh I thought they was better then this read more
