Joseph is the best salesperson I've had the pleasure of working with - and I've purchased and leased many cars. He went above and beyond to secure the allocation where every other dealer fell short. Janalys in Internet Sales is wonderful and a true pleasure to work with. Sergio in finance is second to none: knowledgeable, straightforward, and transparent. I especially appreciated the positive atmosphere throughout our negotiations and his clarity and integrity. This was the best and most positive car-buying experience I've ever had. I'm grateful to the entire team and couldn't be happier with my new car.

One phone call was all we needed to know we picked the right dealer. Michael Ladenheim could not have been more professional in how he handled explaining not only where the other dealer was taking advantage of us in their padded fee numbers, but offered a much better/longer warranty, and better overall pricing. Signing and changing from lease to finance with Trend could not have been easier, and we will be back the next car we need, and will absolutely refer family and friends to Trend. Also - the dealership is absolutely taken care of, clean, welcoming and a comfortable sitting area for those with children needing to tag along.

After spending time looking for a used car at different dealerships, my wife found Colonial Motors…read more We're very glad she did! While the choices were slim elsewhere, Colonial had multiple cars to choose from. The manager, Jack, was a pleasure to work with. When we did select a car, he was very accommodating letting us take it locally to have it checked out, even offering to have someone take it there. After passing the inspection, the purchase process was very easy. Jack told us that if there were issues afterward, he'd take care of them. True to his word, when we did have a few minor problems, he took care of them at no cost to us. Buying a used car is always such a tedious process. Working with Jack at Colonial made it much better!

I had to take advance of a good deal. Truth is, when you buy a used car, you are taking a risk. They let me take it for a test drive, provided the service records, offer a warranty and are handing the plates for me. This place is owned and operated by 2 brothers. They were both knowledgeable and helpful. I worked in sales for a while and hate when people are selling me. I appreciated their honest sales approach.

Unfortunately, he…read moredeveloped a medical condition that was irreversible and prefer not to say, but everyone knows when they hear it. He came to me on a Saturday asking if I would drive him to purchase a car( since he had to quit working) and his car was having too many problems. It was almost 5PM and Saturday, so he wanted to go to a used car dealer rather than a new car dealer. I remembered one on Rt.46 in Ledgewood from a few years back, but didn't know how late they stayed open. I dcided to take him there and see. They were open and I told him to wait in the car while I went in. The owner and the sales mgr. were there and I told them why I was there and told them I had a friend with a serious medical condition who needed a vehicle for a year ( or longer depending on his health) and he didn't want to spend a lot, but needed a car that didn't have a high frequency of repairs and was reliable even with higher mileage. By the way, my neighbor found 2 or 3 cars that were recommended in Consumer reports that he was interested in, and Ridgemont had two of them in their stock. To make a long story short, they said to bring him in, and not worry about when they were going to close. The Sales Mgr. went outside with my friend and me and showed us the two cars that he was interested in. The first one was a higher mileage vehicle and looked passible but the Sales Mgr. didn't recommend purchasing it. The second one was very clean, lower mileage, priced very well and had just gotten in to their inventory. It had a valid inspection sticker which was new and good until 2027. it was a 2018 and my friend and I checked every option to see if they worked( which they did). The price was very good but the Sales Mgr dropped the price a little more without asking, and even said they would give a 3 mos. /3,000 mile warranty on top of everything. Now, I was a Director of Marketing for 35 years and I know Customer Service. Also, I didn't tell you, my neighbor was also an excellent mechanic for a local Service Center, who was a brake, tire, and front end specialist.( plus, he could fix almost anything). My point being, these two people at Ridgemont spent a great deal of time, being courteous, professional, and friendly to my neighbor, that made me feel the least I could do was write a review. Also, I would recommend Ridgemont to anyone looking for a used car, and I know people do have problems, even those that buy luxury cars, for a few reasons. It doesn't cost you anything to go there and look ( no hard sell), also you can still shop around, next you still can negotiate if you want, last they are polite, courteous, and professional, and you can talk to them without being rushed. I just sent another customer there and I'll wait to hear what they say after the purchase. Their stock was pretty wide and diverse so you should be able to find something.Again,it doesn't cost you anything to look.

Twice the vehicle wouldn't start. Then the back up camera only worked, intermittently. Brought the car in and they replaced the camera. A week later, same problem. Then the other cameras didn't work, followed by the key fobs. On June 1st we brought the car back in. It's now over a month and the service department still has no idea what's wrong with it. But that's truly not the worst part. The worst part of the experience is the lack of customer service being provided. The service rep, Courtney, never calls back. Then my husband escalated to the service manager, Paul. He doesn't call back either. No one can be bothered to return a phone call or provide an update. It's shameful. In one week alone my husband called 10 times and left messages and not a single call was returned. Great buying experience with Jose Matos, but based on the lack of customer service, we can't in good conscience ever buy from them again or recommend them to others. We're currently exploring our options through the Lemon Law as they have left us no choice. UPDATE!!! Less than 24 hours after posting this review, my husband got a call from Ernie Dix, service manager. They finally determined the problem, ordered the part, and received the part via FedEx. The car is fixed and back at home where it belongs! I considered removing the review now that the car is fixed, but honestly it's all about communication. If someone at the dealership had simply reached out and said the part had been ordered, I wouldn't have had to write the bad review in the first place. I have updated my review to since Ernie at least saw the review and immediately reached out to my husband. Bottom line, it's all about communication and mutual respect. I hope that there is a lesson to be learned here for their customer service team. Thank you, Ernie, for your attention to the situation.
