Can't say enough about Kyle and the overall experience at Smythe. We had just come off a horrific experience at another dealer (two bad experiences, actually). We were so turned off. But we found this beautiful Audi at Smythe and decided to give it another go. My wife stopped in and met Kyle. He was terrific from the start. All she did was want to see it before the two of us went back. There was no pressure, no "sales-pitch" or anything. Just a nice guy who listened to my wife and her auto buying needs. We went back that night, test drove the car, talked with Kyle (again, "talked", no pressure). He took the time to answer to every question we had and explained everything in detail. It was more of a conversation than a sales transaction. We explained what we were looking for, in terms of deal (money down, monthly payment, etc.). I just bought about a month ago used Acura RDX 2015 has on only 98,000 miles. The car was not in a good shape. We agree with the supervisor and the sales rep on Paper to change the brake front and back instead of fixing cosmetic job on outside of the car and also to change the timing belt and the water pump and I was so generous I gave him the check and by the time I picked up, the car hasa noise on the back of it and also the supervisor told the Service department do not change the back of the break and at the end did not get what I asked for and agreed for it I complained to them a couple of times they made me take the car to the shop wasting one day Of my job also to pick it up I wasted more time, but they never change or adjust what we agreed for it beside that the supervisor has an attitude Doesn't know how to talk. I recently purchased a vehicle from this Volvo dealership and was extremely disappointed by the lack of transparency and poor customer service. During the sales process, I made it clear that I had a Tesla charging station near my home and would be relying on that for regular charging. Not once did the salesperson mention that a special adapter would be needed to use that charger -- an important detail that should have been disclosed before the sale. To make matters worse, when I picked up the car, I was charged an extra $250 by the service department for this Tesla adapter -- something I had assumed would be included based on our discussions. When I raised this issue with the salesperson, instead of an apology, I received a snarky and dismissive email explaining that "newer models come with the adapter, but not yours" -- again, something that was never communicated during the sale. He also questioned why I was concerned since I would be using the car for local driving, which completely misses the point and felt condescending. The dealership claims to "treat every person as a member of the Smythe family" and to "serve our great customers" -- unfortunately, I experienced neither. A customer service representative did follow up, but ultimately failed to resolve the issue or make it right. This experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. I expected more from a premium brand and dealership, and I would caution others to ask very specific questions -- because you won't necessarily get full, honest answers otherwise. read more

Im never using or going to recommend this dealership again.. they are crooks. I just dont get how their ratings are 5 star.. they way they treat their long time customers is unacceptable.. I wanted to buy a 2015 Volvo CX60 3.2L, on the site the price tag said $13995 (not a bad price considering the condition of the car, its mileage, and the accident report on carfax). I even received a confirmation by email . So in the morning i went there expecting to purchase the vehicle, but was extremely surprised to see a fresh price tag on it that states $17000 ($3000 more expensive!!! And this is without paperwork or nothing, just straight new price - which is pretty much the maximum it is listed on KBB, WITH A CLEAN CARFAX report!!!!) . I spent 3 hours getting there, the salesman didnt give a shit that i was pretty much lied to, and when i asked for a supervisor to deal with the situation, the person stated "there is none, that he is his own boss and the price will stay at $17000"... when i asked for a reason on the price change, they stated that "when they saw the car themselves, they realized its in better condition than they thought, that this is how the market is... the prices change every day" And so I just left. Ryan Doremus, Volvo master technician, replaced the defective electric heater in my XC90 Recharge. Ryan also took the time to come out of the shop to demonstrate how to synch up my text messages to once again display on the infotainment screen. Terrible service department. They don't work to help you find the issue in your brand new car and come back saying that the feature isn't available in your car. After spending more time myself with Volvo USA, I was confirmed that the feature is available in my car and something isn't working correctly. So if you take your car there, think twice about their diagnostic, because they want to make it easy and not sort out your problem. The best part is that when you point out the feature is in your Window Sticker and standard for XC90, the associate tells you that he doesn't have time to research this now. I Never thought I would have anything negative to mention of Symthe Volvo. I purchased my car 5 months and had a wonderful experience purchasing my first Volvo with William and Francine. I contacted the service department approximately 3 weeks ago in regards to an issue with the low pressure light. Due to the fact that I commute a little distance to work , i called to make an appointment. The service department over the phone mentioned I didn't need an appointment to just come in. I brought my car in the following day, and stood there for 10 waiting for a service guy to assist me. I decided to walk over to a service employee name Mark Terry. He was very indirect with eye contact communicating with me. He asked if he could help me, I explained my problem with my tire. He never onc put my information in the computer or asked my name. H ed immediately turn my service away and told me they were busy and referred me outside of Volvo to have my tire repaired. I felt very discriminated against and very embarrassed. Thankful for Doug Macadam, very nice and courteous. He couldn't understand why my service was turned away. Doug brought my car to the back to be serviced, put all my information in the system to see that I have warranty on my tire service. I walked into the dealership today excited to checkout the the XC90. However, the customer service ruined the entire experience. I walked in and was instantly ignored by three sales associates. I walked toward the sales floor undeterred, eager to check out the XC90. I again walked by and was ignored by two associates. When I got to the car, I walked around it several times thinking that would garner some attention...it did not. I then asked the woman at the front desk if I could sit in the car to which she quickly replied, yep and looked away. I sat in the car, still unattended. I finally walked out...past the same associates and went home. To say that this experience was horrendous doesn't do it justice. Didn't really make much of an effort - recently leased brand new vehicle 6 weeks old, also got the premium scratch and tire protection - had a piece of the vehicle need to be replaced due to falling off and they didn't make an effort to help me in any way. All the answer I have asked for them are "We don't know. Please call volvo finance." And they use Covid as a universal excuse to refuse my request. For instance, nobody will be there after 12PM if I need to turn in my vehicle because of "Covid protocol". No ride back home will be provided because of "Covid protocol"... Patrick was very helpful in understanding what it was we were looking for, our budget and trade situation, and made some great recommendations as well as confirmed they had inventory that fit our wishlist. He worked with us over phone and email on presales questions and financing prequalification, so going in on a Saturday with two young kids in tow would be as seamless as possible. I must point out that (I cannot blame the service manager) as this individual did everything possible to attempt to keep up with all of the problems experienced from brakes to computer errors to everything in between.
