I made sure to be home at the time being that I was coming from work and I sat in my car for 2 hours waiting for them and they never showed. 12:30 they still didn't come they are calling me trying to confirm my address when that information was communicated the day prior. After so much delay making me late to other obligations I asked them to cancel as they had no regards to my time and no accountability. Things happen, delays happen but you have to communicate. They offered me a $25 discount which I thought was a slap in the face. I was about to spend $600. I told them to forget it, I was going to do business with them because I was referred to them but the experience was so bitter that I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. A lady calls me back asking me if I'm sure I want to cancel I said yes because they don't respect me nor my time. I informed her I will fix my window elsewhere. She refused to take accountability then tells me "f you b*tch". I hung up. I never rose my voice at her, I never cursed at her. It's pretty bold for them to call me to curse me out when they messed my whole day up due to their lack of professionalism.

On the day of the install, the tech calls and said "I dont have the parts, they didn't tell me I needed them." Ok, very frustrating, but I rescheduled AND called back to CONFIRM that they knew what vehicle they were replacing. They said yes, all set. Then, on the morning of the second appointment, the tech called me and said, "Okay, so it will be $651." Yes, almost THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS more. I did a lot of research on which tint I should get, and more importantly, who to get it done by. Sunrays had perfect reviews on various websites that were clearly legitimate. One competitor (if you can even call them one) was Tropic Window Tinting. They have mostly good reviews, aside from a couple that stood out. One of them was a review about them damaging the weather-stripping on a customer's car. Their response: "sorry for the inconvenience"... wow! A second poor review Tropic had was that they misaligned window tint on a window so there was sunlight leaking through the side. Their response was, "sorry you weren't happy." What kind of company says that to a customer? Doug at Sunrays will redo your tint for free if something comes out wrong; and he will bump an appointment or make time for you to get it done, rather than make you wait or deny responsibility. Regardless, his work looks perfect. Nevertheless, that tell you the kind of person you're dealing with.
