"these guys are a bunch of crooks, thieves, liers, conniving s.o.b's" stay away from them!!! i mean faarrrr away!!! i cannot stress myself enough to other consumers...dont be a victim or should i say a sucker like me who fell for lowest price, lifetime warranty bullcrap they throw at you when you contact them for their services.... heres a real life experience review about these crooks. i had my windshield replaced on sept.19, 2014 at my apt. right after their service i parked my car in the garage & left it there for a week, when i got back from my work travels a small crack started to form from top of the windshield were there was no visible impact of anything where the crack started to form. i called car glass right away & told them about my dilemma. the guy on the phone didn't ask for my receipt when we spoke about warranty work. i met matt the next day where he was accompanied by a gentleman that looked like somebody stole his lunch, he wasn't very pleasant to me more like starring me down & made me feel very uncomfortable. matt stated to point out, quote & unquote "a pebble hit it, you see here this little tiny mark a pebble can do that to a windshield you know" then short after he started to tell me "a change of weather too can crack a windshield you know"...he suddenly started to blame the weather, that a second ago it was the peddles fault... i'm telling myself "weren't you just blaming the pebble, now your blaming the weather...in short he doesnt want to honor their warranty work for installing a cracked windshield. car glass gives you the lowest price because "the glass they use is inferior" (cheap!!!) its very thin about 1/8 thin, thats half of the thickness of oem material. imagine if you were driving your car & a rock hits your windshield that rock will go through the windshield & possibly hit you or your love ones...pls. dont take any chances with these guys so you can save a dollar or two...it might cost you your life or someone esles...btw they robbed me of $215 in 1 week. like most working class people im not rich, i dont have $215 laying around the apt...tk read more

I called a number of companies for quotes to replace my windshield. Initially, Car Glass was not one of them because they were not on the top of my Google search, but after reading the fantastic YELP reviews, I decided to call. Matt gave me a very fair quote over the phone (not the lowest, but close - which was good because I am always reluctant when a price is too low - if something sounds too good to be true...), and his warm and professional manner over the phone was appealing. When I called back to book the job, I was given an appointment for the very next morning. Fantastic turnaround time! So I booked an appointment for a commercial competitor that I will not name who quoted me a price. That didn't sit well with me so I decided to look into some other places and came across Car Glass LLC. This was on a Sunday and this establishment was closed. However, Yelp offers a feature where you can book appointments through the app and I decided to message so that they'd receive it first thing Monday morning and maybe I'd get a Tuesday appointment. Someone responded to me within 15 minutes. I sent pictures of the my windshield damage and was quoted a price that was half that of the commercial competitor. I also was able to get an appointment for the next morning. The guys came to my place of employment and were already getting to work by the time I got outside. Matt saved the day!! One of my customers Dillon C. had set up an appointment for a headlight restoration and on the way he got a rock chip that spread immediately into a 12+ crack on his BMW windshield. Turns out he was having his car inspected the next morning and needed it replaced asap. I called Car Glass and asked if they could replace the glass at the same time I was to meet Dillon at his warehouse. I cannot say nicer things about the men from this company. Matt handled everything from the moment I submitted an inquiry and he made the process extremely easy. I wasn't home the day they came to replace my windshield but they called me when they got there, called me when they were done, and gave me all the care instructions over the phone including leaving the invoice in my car so I could call Matt to pay over the phone when I got home. Extremely professional, kind and helpful! I had originally been told to contact a more well-known company and they quoted me at a ridiculous amount with no real customer service. At first I was given a phone number. I had no idea what the company was or the name of the person on the other side. After a few random texts about my car, I was given confirmation of the day of when they would replace my windshield. I work during the day so they agreed to meet me at my job. The convenience on top of replying to my texts on Labor Day is beyond any customer service I have ever received. Matthew is wonderful (and great conversationally speaking). I was able to watch the whole process which is reassuring. The work is clean and careful. It is also quick. My 2015 Chevy Tahoe's windshield got chipped by a stone on the edge and it caused a fast spreading crack straight across my field of vision. Car Glass LLC was referred to me by my car dealership. I left a message and Matt called back straight away. We arranged an appointment the next morning in the parking lot at my workplace in Lyndhurst, NJ. They came right on time and did the job. Two nice things - the Velcro tape that holds my EZPass and my inspection sticker were transferred to the new windshield. They also explained that I could remove the blue tape after 24 hours. I received a quote from Matthew here on Yelp and decided to proceed with my windshield repair. He was able to come out to my workplace and replace my windshield quickly in the parking lot with his partner, and both of them were very friendly. It's been about 2 months and there are no signs that my windshield has been repaired. I seem to be having bad luck with my windshield lately. The first time I was driving on the Garden State and a lovely rock hit my car. This last time I was inside Lowes came outside and saw this lovely crack on my windshield. Needed to replace the windshield on my girlfriend's new CX5 due to a bad crack that spread. Hear it's very common on those cars for some reason.
