Can I just say, D&M Auto Body made the experience of getting my car repaired, the BEST, worst experience ever. I think we can all agree that having something go wrong with your car is terrible and we'd all rather NOT do it, but if I had to do it again, D&M is the only place I'd go from here on out. They literally have a customer for life. In a haze of grief from losing a friend the week prior, I backed my brand new 2024 Hyundai Tucson into a parking garage support beam, basically ripping the mirror off the door. That night I did some research on auto body shops in the area and I'm so glad I found D&M. Every aspect of working with D&M, from getting the estimate to picking up my fully repaired car today, was pleasant and seamless. The website not only has information about the services they offer, what the repair process is, their team and history, but also has information that was super useful as a general customer like FAQs, consumer rights information, how to manage the insurance claims process, and even information on things your insurance company can and can't do. The customer service was absolutely immaculate. My appraiser Dave, pretty much held my hand through the entire process and did so with patience and grace. I'm not ashamed to admit that I had NO idea what I was doing, and he quickly and kindly answered all my emails, took all my calls, and answered every question I had, especially those concerning the claims process because Progressive wasn't very clear at ALL in what they needed. Shannon at the front desk, would periodically check in and give me updates on what was happening with the car and the progress they were making (or not) with Progressive, and was just a pleasure to speak to. The repair is flawless and was done SO quickly. I got the call that my car was ready only a week and 2 days after they'd let me know that they could begin the repairs! If you look at my car you wouldn't even know that the door needed to be replaced. It looks exactly like it does when I drove it off the lot in September. Everything is functioning as it should. They even detailed the inside of the car, gave her a wash, and blessed me with a complimentary t-shirt and keychain. Immaculate. Customer. Service!! D&M has a customer for life ...that is as long as they're willing to have me lol. I know Progressive isn't the best to deal with. Great service! Dropped my car off for a repair after it was bumped in a parking lot. Everyone at d&m was friendly and helpful throughout the entire repair process. On the day I dropped off my car they called the local enterprise to get me picked up. They provided an accurate repair duration which was great. My car looks new again! And the complementary cleaning was very much appreciated. A nice bonus was a free t-shirt when I picked up my car. I have needed to use an auto body service only a few times - but in the past few years we have used D&M 3 times. They do excellent work and are very professional in both the work and the communications. They also work with Allstate (where my cars are insured) so there is no hassle at all. This is my first time here based off a friend referring me (her whole family used this shop). I will tell you I will most def. be back! Was concerned bc my high beams were working but low beams weren't. This week there's been a ton of rain so I wanted to make sure my lights would work and I could see. Dave "diagnosed" the issue, recommended the bulbs I should get (I need brighter than standard bulbs bc of eyesight). I purchased my bulbs and called them back to see what day I could have them installed...Dave asked me how far away I was (3 min) and he told me to come back in and they would switch them out for me SAME DAY. When you have a 4:30p appt and they allow you to return at 5 to change out my bulbs....you feel grateful! It's the little things! It's an easy fix but customer service goes a long way and Shannon and Dave were wonderful....I will def. be back!!! read more

My daughter pulled into our steep driveway and tore the bottom liner off her beetle. I called D&W, and they had me bring it right in. Knowing she needed to get back to Philly the same day, they got her car in right away, fixed it in under 2 hours, and did not try to price gouge us at all. The autobody ive been going to for year retired, so I was looking for a new autobody. I went to a couple places and they had the worst attitude and didn't care about the business I would be bringing them. D&M is the complete opposite. Nikki is the best! She's does whatever she can to make things easier on you. She understands that this is frustrating to deal with a car repair and works with you. I will only go to D&M for Nikki bc you won't find anybody with her patience and efficiency. The autobody did a great job on my car. I need the whole front body repaired and the car looked brand new. They cleaned my car better than some of the car washes. My rims are usually still dirty bc they don't clean the spokes. However, D&M manages to do what nobody else will. They gave me a air freshener and a t-shirt. It's the little things that I appreciate. It felt good leaving knowing I'm being taken care of and so is my care. The only issue I have with this autobody is they do not touch up anything else you need. Usually if you have extra paint, they will touch up some chips and spots on your car. They do not do that there. It was a little disappointing but the reason I went was for the front and they did a good job. I will be recommending them to everyone. I live 40 mins away. My second time at D&M auto body. Paint color not correct on new bumper. White bumper on my off white vehicle. I didn't see the bumper when I picked up the car because it was raining hard. I had to get my own car from parking lot. No one showed me the completed job. After I brought color mismatch to their attention, D&M did offer to redo paint job and sent insurance co a new repaint estimate and another vehicle rental for 2 days. Excuse-Ford has 42 different color samples and painter thought it was right. The installer didn't see the color difference either? I declined the offer. The car should have never been released to me in that condition in the first place. I gave them 4 stars because staff is good and they did offer to redo paint job. I will not be back. read more

This location reminds me of a fast food drive thru. The focus at this location is on efficiency not quality. Their website claims to focus on quality and putting the customer first, but my experience was a far shot from what their website claims. I dropped my car off at this location to get my rear bumper replaced. They called me to tell me the work was done. I was excited. However, when I arrived there were numerous defects in the work that I was required to point out. They agreed with me on the defects. I was told that I would have to come back to get fixed. I did not pay for the work. There were 3 areas of defect that made it clear they cut corners. Specifically, a piece connected to the bumper that was not properly fastened to the bumper, a 5 inch crease in the paint that was clearly uneven, and the areas that I requested touch up paint be applied did not contain touchup paint. I also noticed that the folks running the front desk would openly complain about their customers. I also got some weird looks when I was in there office. Extremely unprofessional. I wonder if this is the culture of D&M or just how the front desk operates. If you don't like dealing with customers then go find another job where you are not dealing with customers. I decided that going back to this location would be insane, so I called my insurance company to find another location that focuses on quality. I also filed a complaint on D&M through my insurance company. Bottom line, this location produces low quality work, but charges top dollar prices. I would never recommend this location. read more

I went back to them a second time for a separate repair I needed since they did such an amazing job on a previous repair and gave me AMAZING customer service and let me tell you the receptionist and Bob are AMAZING!! Here's the back story: My passenger side mirror was broken on my Audi and I had ordered my own replacement part and went to the Audi dealership (Paul Miller Audi) to get it repaired and they wanted to charge me $1000 just for the diagnostic and couldn't install the after market part I had because "it was against their policy" and they said they had to order a completely new part which will take a few days and send it to get painted to match the color of my car.. I was furious because they told me over the phone prior that they could install the part I had and it would be $300 for labor (their receptionist gave me wrong information). I drove from Kearny to Parsippany for nothing! I decided to call D&M because i remembered they did a great job last time so I wanted to just get an idea of what it would cost me. Bob spoke to me and let me know that he had a few mins available to take a look at it since I already had the part. I drove over and he took a look and saw the part and told me it would only take a few mins!! Within 15 mins the part was on my car and a LOOKED BRAND NEW!! BOB SAVED ME OVER $1000 and saved me from so much anxiety!! The receptionist was super sweet throughout the whole process as well. I LOVE D&M AUTO!!
