Then I took my car here and got the same job done for half the price and it was all fixed in one week! A quarter of the time! I wouldn't have been able to afford any other place. I would've been totally stuck and screwed without a car. This place saved my life! When I got my car back, I could not believe the magic they did. I can not thank them and recommend them enough. It has never been to a private mechanic not even for an oil change. She took it here for a paint job. We dealt with Miguel who at first seemed very nice and personable. We got the car back and realized water was coming in. None of the weather stripping or moulding was replaced. Took it back and another gentleman got very nasty with her and Miguel took over the conversation. Miguel refused responsibility. She brought it to the dealership upon leaving this establishment and they showed her where a tool damaged the gasket to the windshield. This has been a costly headache. Not only did the windshield need to get fixed but the flooring has mold from the water damage. Shame on Miguel and Maaco for taking advantage of an old woman. He did try to get me to bring her car in so he can try to fix the mold but unfortunately the damage is done and I wouldn't even bring my bike to them. The dealership (who doesn't offer paint jobs which is why we had to go elsewhere) also said the paint job wasn't good. They not only didn't buff the old paint off but they didn't buff the glue that was left behind from the gaskets they removed and painted over the glue!!!

My job was easy, drive the Toyota in and come and pick it up. Job done... These guys figured it out and had it installed in the day they scheduled me. It came out great, works perfectly and was done right the first time. Absolute disaster.Paint didn't match,parts didn't fit,can't open my hood,a screw was put through…read morethe plastic bumper to hold together. The first time I picked up my car after 5 weeks in the shop, my safety systems were not working correctly. My car would randomly "brake" for no reason.Brought the car back due to overspray,chips,uneven blending.Plus the mirror was completely missed for repair.Another 5 weeks,multiple excuses for the car not being ready.This time the headlights are uneven,the bumper is uneven,mirror still not repaired. Still can't open hood.Chips and bubbles in paint,along with overspray.And I can't open the passenger door. The handle does not move. Third time I bring it back,Dave promised he was going to"make it right". After two weeks of excuses I told him I'm picking up the car in 3 days. The third day he finally took my car to Mazda in Morristown. My battery was dead for some reason,my car ended up with an oil leak,and power train leak. Mazda takes video of the car when it comes in to their shop. Good thing,since the professional was able to point out all the issues that MD Colors cut corners on,did incorrectly or not all. The biggest issue was the wrong body parts,they did not fit and were not fastened together correctly. And,the paint did not match,which was the first question I asked Dave when I first brought the car to him, "are you sure you can match this color perfectly?" I was told," definitely ."Thousands of dollars put out for rental cars, and my car is not fixed. I reached out to Dave, and was told he doesn't have the money to do the repairs he promised to make right. Almost two years of this back and forth. Poor business practices. My insurance paid him and it went downhill from there.
