The first time I picked up my car after 5 weeks in the shop, my safety systems were not working correctly. My car would randomly "brake" for no reason.Brought the car back due to overspray,chips,uneven blending.Plus the mirror was completely missed for repair.Another 5 weeks,multiple excuses for the car not being ready.This time the headlights are uneven,the bumper is uneven,mirror still not repaired. Still can't open hood.Chips and bubbles in paint,along with overspray.And I can't open the passenger door. The handle does not move. Third time I bring it back,Dave promised he was going to"make it right". After two weeks of excuses I told him I'm picking up the car in 3 days. The third day he finally took my car to Mazda in Morristown. My battery was dead for some reason,my car ended up with an oil leak,and power train leak. Mazda takes video of the car when it comes in to their shop. Good thing,since the professional was able to point out all the issues that MD Colors cut corners on,did incorrectly or not all. The biggest issue was the wrong body parts,they did not fit and were not fastened together correctly. And,the paint did not match,which was the first question I asked Dave when I first brought the car to him, "are you sure you can match this color perfectly?" I was told," definitely ."Thousands of dollars put out for rental cars, and my car is not fixed. I reached out to Dave, and was told he doesn't have the money to do the repairs he promised to make right. Almost two years of this back and forth. Poor business practices. My insurance paid him and it went downhill from there.

After taking my car to a few other places I ended up going to Crash Champions Collision Repair in Dover, since this was my insurance company's preferred body shop, and I felt comfortable because my own brother in law had his car repaired there previously as well. Crash Champions did a fantastic job and got my car back to me very quickly in only a few short days. The car literally looks brand new!! I would definitely recommend this Crash Champions to fix your vehicle. Hopefully I will never hit anything again and need them, lol! But if I do, then I trust Crash Champions to take care of my vehicle.

Thereafter, we revised their agreement and a new estimate was provided for $10,794.89. I have evidence that I paid said amount in full, however, Brookwood Auto has failed to restore my vehicle, thereby breaching the contract. Moreover, since 2016 Brookwood Auto has neglected their contractual obligations to restore my 1967 Pontiac Firebird. They now seek $31,285.57 to complete restoration of my 1967 Pontiac Firebird. The original contracted restoration fee was $10,794.89. They refuse to return my vehicle. This constitutes consumer fraud.

I dropped the dash off on a Friday late afternoon. Monday morning I stopped by with some more parts for the car and the dash was already installed. (They are not open Saturday or Sunday, which means they rushed to put that dash in) I noticed the damage/repair later in the week when the car was parked in the sun. They "claim" my mint dash, which I periodically cleaned to keep supple all the time I've owned it and somehow never noticed, was already damaged, and I just missed it. This damage is large and right in the very center of the dash, along with a large dent to the side of the repair, impossible to miss. I proceeded to watch this supposed 8-9+ yr old repair dry up and crack (in multiple places) over the next few days. Proof it was just repaired. The owner Cade continued to deny damaging it. They also trimmed too much metal and carpet installing my console and shifter, and now there is a big hole where the console ends at the bottom. This apparently was "my fault" for not installing things in the correct order, as I was told the new carpet should have been done later. The console was also installed misaligned and rattles very loudly. Basically every error I was made to feel responsible for. Stay far away!
