As a first time customer and with limited experience owning a Mercedes, John patiently answered all of my questions.

The original estimate was approximately $2900 and the final bill was higher($3070). I missed two days for work due to wrong parts, them not being able to get a bolt off. When I finally got my car back the engine light came on and my transmission was shot. The car never had prior transmission problems at all. When I sent them the info that using heat by the transmission can cause damage they dismissed it. I had to junk the car for $500. The worst car repair experience I ever had. I never took a car to get a major repair like this and had the car run much worse. I will never go back. Buyer beware with these guys.

This used to be Euro Tire which I used previously for various things with no issues. Unfortunately, what began as a simple service resulted in over $1,000 in damages and a complete lack of accountability. After picking up my car, I discovered the wheel bolts had been severely over-torqued. I returned within 30 min, and a technician confirmed they were stuck, stating he was "uncomfortable" proceeding at closing time. I took the car home and dropped it off the following morning as they said they will take care of it. The next day, multiple lug nuts were stuck which required drilling of the studs to remove them. The shop broke at least 4 lug nuts in half trying to remove them and the 2 wheels were stuck on the car. During the extraction process, the shop drilled through the wheel itself rather than just the studs. Put the wheel back on and said it was all done. I once again checked when I got home and discovered the wheel was drilled into and 2 of 5 lug nuts on one wheel were not holding. This rendered the wheel structurally compromised and unsafe for road use. Despite previously admitting the bolts were over-torqued, the management changed their story once they realized the extent of the damage. When I confronted them about the ruined wheel, they blamed me for the over-torquing--despite the fact that they were the last ones to touch the vehicle. While they refunded the initial labor cost, I am now out approximately $1,000 for a replacement wheel and hardware.

Hello I went to this…read morejiffy lube location 56 and had an issue. Long story short they kicked me out due to a so called leak and a so called grease on my belt. This was very embarrassing and I asked if he could just change the oil and he said because it was 6pm (late in the day) he don't want to take the chance. I can try to understand his position but the way he did it was very unprofessional and I will not go back to this location on rt 46 ever again. I just had an oil change and engine flush today and it was a way better and inexpensive experience compared to the frustration and disappointment of my visit to your establishment. In the very beginning the gentleman with the very long beard accepted my car and drove it into the bay asked me to wait inside and I sat down not saying one word. There was 3 people in the waiting area including myself , 2 women and me . Instead of speaking as a professional he spoke in a loud tone and said " I don't know you better go to a mechanic because i am not touching this. I have knowledge of cars and I asked "can you just change the oil"? He said "no" In Kearny auto spa they acknowledged me properly and professionally such a big difference from a small shop compared to a huge well know chain like Jiffy Lube. This won't affect you at all but I just wanted let you know what's going on in your place of business because as a business owner I would appreciate the same courtesy. I understand working late because I work late everyday but there is no excuse to be unprofessional , I was just there for an oil change even though it's not a big job you made my Audi q7 feel like it was junk and made it look like I stole it . The expression on the other customers faces was embarrassing and you should treat every customer with the same respect that you would for someone who is spending a lot of money. Delivery is everything he may have been correct in his assessment but the way he delivered his input was very rude and wrong. I will take my business elsewhere no hard feelings it only business.i will stick to the smaller companies they value their customers and a re way more reasonable with their price. I got an oil change, engine flush , fluid check , tire rotation and free car wash for almost the same price I would've spent for an oil change at Jiffy lube. They charged me $170 for all of that and you charged me $156. Thank you and have a great day

We are first time customers and dropped off the car with a list of fixes needed on Sunday night after hours per Mike's direction. On Tuesday he reached out and we agreed on what needed to be fixed. I called and spoke to a girl who said I could pick up the car after hours. My husband and I live in Queens (I grew up in Caldwell) and he works 7-7, so after he got out of work we drove to Caldwell. Our car was open, but we couldn't find the keys inside. We tried to turn the push start multiple times and the car wouldn't start, so we knew the keys were not in the car. We also checked the late night mailbox and there were no keys there either. Very frustrating so we drove back to Queens as we had work the next day. Mike called in the morning and said our keys were in the car the entire time and he left it open all night. He didn't apologize and was adamant that we were wrong - even though a car with a push start always starts when a key fob is inside of it. I have had this car since 2009, if the fob is in the car, the car will start! My husband called back later and we requested this time they lock our car and leave our keys in the mailbox for another after hours pickup. After work that day, my husband drove to Caldwell and him and my neighbor went to the lot to get our car. This time the keys were not in the mailbox and our car was locked - so we could not get in for the second night in a row. Frustrated yet again, my husband drove back to Queens. Finally this morning we called out of work and drove to Caldwell to get our car. When I got there, the girl was extremely rude and unprofessional, saying that we were adamant for the keys to be left in the mailbox vs. in the car (which is their normal process) and someone came at night and opened the mailbox and moved my keys into the key drop off slot. She fully blamed us and said "it's out of our hands". I told her the least you all could have done is apologize for the inconvenience after we had to drive 4.5 hours round trip to get our car. She was insistent it was all our fault, kept saying we were wrong and she "put the keys in our car the first night" and refused to apologize. She had a very rude attitude the entire time and Mike didn't even have the decency or professionalism to come and speak to us himself. Also, one of the issues I requested he fix (tire pressure sensor) is still broken and they didn't even tell us. Regardless of the fact that this could have been a mistake, the least they could have done is apologized for an inconvenience. It takes ZERO effort to say to someone who just spent $900 at your business, "We apologize for the inconvenience this caused you and we appreciate your business" but that was impossible for this place. On top of that, they really should not leave cars unlocked with the keys inside and random people should not be touching other people's car keys !!! During this experience we spoke to other friends who've used this place in the past and all of them said recently the customer service has gotten so bad they don't come here anymore. Just wish we knew that before this ordeal! I DO NOT recommend coming here for anyone looking for a mechanic in Caldwell. You're better off finding someone who will at least be kind and where you'll be happy with your hard money being spent.
