Dobbs wasted my time and jerked me around with false promises. TERRIBLE.

They will tell you whatever you want to hear and will not deliver..... Hey Carlos, since you won't answer my texts and keep dodging me, how about a refund and I'll bring the car to someone that knows what they are doing. Car has been in the shop since April 15. Expected completion date was may 10. On May 14 Carlos says the car will be completed on may 15 and he will cover the cost of the additional rental days. On may 17 Carlos said the car was ready. Upon arriving to pick up the car, I noticed the car was not done correctly. Carlos agreed and said I couldn't leave with the car in that condition. Carlos claimed it would be ready in a week. On June 2nd I reached out for an updated date and received no response On June 6th I reached out again saying I just needed confirmation the rental was still being covered. Carlos stated it is and it will be ready in a week. On June 24 I reached out again for an update with no response. On July 3rd, today I called and Carlos said the car still isn't ready due to paint issues and will need two more days. Now it's August 13th and proceeding with legal action.

I'm aware of the bad rep Maaco has but the one in Union definitely has my recommendation. Jared and his team were outstanding. The car was ready in a week and a half. He continued communication with me throughout that entire time and you can clearly tell they knew how much the car meant to me. The paint looks phenomenal. I got the clear coat OEM paint job. I had oxidation on my hood and rear spoiler. My rear bumper was showing rust as well. I wanted the car repainted to the same color (rally blue). There was no overspray on my gold BBS wheels. Everything was perfected. I'm doing this review after 3 weeks. I will update in 2-3 months on the paints condition but if you're a big car guy and you were on the fence with getting your car painted because it's a Maaco, hopefully you decide to make the right choice. I'll say the only "con" was my front driver side window tint peeled off a bit due to the heat I assume but I'm fine with it and it's not a big deal since I needed it retinted anyway.

I explained that my company only issues spare keys in emergency situations and asked if he could continue searching for the missing key. Instead of addressing the issue, he responded dismissively, telling me to stop focusing (dwelling) on the key and implying that if my vehicle had been in an accident, it wouldn't be in the shop. I reiterated that it is the shop's responsibility to keep track of the vehicle key. He then replied, "Well, I won't have it until next week." He then intentionally hung up on me while speaking. Additionally, I was informed that the necessary parts are on backorder, meaning my car will not be repaired anytime soon. Overall, my experience was very unpleasant, and I would strongly advise against using this shop. The owner seemed very prejudiced as well. If you're an organization with a fleet of vehicles. Ultimately tried to explain the $800 charge as for 'extra test drives' to check for issues with the same $2,800 repair I declined because it was not needed. Bauer was extremely rude, demeaning, and angry bc he was called out for these multiple attempts at padding my invoice. He got away with the bulk of it by refusing to allow me to pay what was agreed and wouldn't return my vehicle though i'd driven 4 hours to pick it up on Christmas Eve. YOU are much better off taking your equipment to the dealer for repairs.
