Friendly but not enough work space so repairs take longer than usual very fair price and a good sitting area

A+ outstanding job. DTA replaced the rear main seal on my 1996 corvette. meticulous work. well executed. Everything was cleaned down and inspected underneath carefully before I took delivery off the car. The mechanic and service advisor worked with me to adjust the exhaust height so it's just perfect. This is something I appreciate very much as I am very particular about the car. DTA takes pride in their work. Something that is hard to come by anymore. This business is very tech savvy! You make your appointment on line which was very easy. They test drove the car and gave a detailed inspection with pictures and sent them to my phone. Really good repair shop. We have been taking our cars here for the past two years now for regular check ups and if anything goes wrong. Their repair quotes have undercut the cost at a dealership by 25%+ at least each time we have been there. The communication is very straight forward with them calling to make sure to go ahead with a repair or not every time and offering advice whether to switch out a part or to wait (in my experience dealerships will always tell you to switch out a part regardless if you can drive an extra 5k with it). The shop is pretty small but we have not had any trouble getting our car in to have it looked at in the morning and often it is available in a couple of hours. read more

This place is horrible. I brought my BMW in because they SPECIALIZE in BMW vehicles. My check engine light kept coming on so I brought it into them. As I am standing there waiting for my uber in the pouring rain for 30 mins and $45 Dollars later with Alex walking past me watching me, later I came to find out they offer a car loaner service free of charge for their customer. They are completely rude and inconsiderate. They fixed my turbo and "test drove" the car and stated that the issue never came across so they could not do a proper diagnosis. 2 days later the issue came back and now my vehicle is having trouble starting. I called them back and they told me to drop my vehicle off. My car was there for 1 week they claim to have fixed the issue and that I would need a new battery. As I'm pulling my car off the lot the engine light comes back on. After having my car for 1 week, 2 days and paying $588.33 my car has now broken down on me. I will never go back here they just take your money. They state you get a warranty if you come back for the same issue but still charge you for it. I believe they never test drove my car like they said they did because when I pulled off the lot I immediately got my check engine light on. If they did "test drive" the car they would have seen the engine light coming on. This place is bs they just take your money. Avoid the trouble do not go here! It's easy to say Alex takes care of all my cars but it goes much deeper because my wife and daughter drive these cars. I trust Alex with my family. He is always on time, gives me options for my budget and is just a nice guy. Recently my daughters transmission went out. I had it towed to a "transmission" shop. They wanted $1,400 to drop and evaluate what needed fixing - thats before the repair bill!!! Alex said let me look at it - it might just be a leak. It was a leak and it saved me a ton of money. Overpriced as hell not worth it there's a cheaper place on 46 called East Forest, this guy charged me triple what the price was to do a repair and when I tried to get my car back his diagnostic was expensive ($135) save yourself time and money don't go here read more

Great Service! I stopped going to the BMW Roxbury Dealership due to some messed up things that happened and how the mechanics basically screwed up my car all the time just so id come back for more service. I googled bmw service in NJ and found this that was rated really high. Ive gone twice, once for a seal belt sign indicator and now a water pump replacement for my 2006 BMW 325i. The dealership asked for $2500 for the waterpump and Al the owner did it for $1000 and got it done in one day! He is really nice and down to earth guy. Really honest and he always calls you with updates! His lot is full of BMW's because he specializes in the them and even has the computer system for BMW's. Definitely recommended for any BMW 325i owners looking to avoid dealer costs. You'll have your car in good hands. I don't usually write reviews but i think this shop definitely deserves one. (FYI this shop is only open on weekdays not weekends, only down side) But its not far from Randolph where i live and its literally right past Budd Lake, 2 feet away. Outstanding honest guy, i just wish i chose to go there earlier so i would have saved so much money from that bad roxbury bmw dealership. If you're out of the BMW warranty this is definitely the place to go read more
