Purchased a pre-owned vehicle on 12/26/25. Had been asking for days what the interest rate they could get us on the loan is, and finally told them we were not coming down to sign paperwork without knowing, because I had been approved for a loan at my bank at 7.89%. Finance guy gets on the phone and tells us the rate is 8%, chastises me over how little the difference in percentage is and how little it will make a difference overall on the loan. We believed him and went to sign the paperwork, only to realize after signing, the rate he gave us was NOT 8% but was in fact 8.84%! I am an idiot for trusting him, and it is costing us more than $500 in interest. Test drove the vehicle the week before purchase, took it to our mechanic for inspection who found an issue, which Kia fixed. Did not check it on 12/26 prior to purchase. Took it home and realized there was a new rip in the passenger front seat, and the heated seats no longer worked, as well as there was still a problem with the front wheel bearing which should have been fixed as part of what they had repaired found by our mechanic. The next day, 12/27/25 the heat stopped working. We realized not long after, the child safety lock was stuck on the driver's side rear door and the tire sensor light was on. After bringing it to service the first time, we were told they never inspected the vehicle!!! Was fed lines before purchase like all their preowned cars undergo a 150 point inspection, and the owner is real big on safety because he does not want a car coming back to them after purchase. Have brought it back multiple times to the service department since then to have these repairs made, but as of today 1/27/26, a month after purchase, they are STILL NOT COMPLETED and was just told to come pick it up AGAIN while they wait for parts! To say I am frustrated is an understatement. I would never purchase a car from them again! read more

What an amazing experience! Ask for Howie I went down the list and called every Kia dealer looking for a Carnival EX in black, grey or blue. Every dealer I spoke with said they would call me right back (and didn't), told me they had to run my credit over the phone to give me price on the car (even though we weren't financing it), didn't have a car in stock, or just wouldn't give me a price without coming in to the showroom (even when I explained I was very pregnant and on bedrest). Global Automall and Kia Bridgewater were adding an automatic $5k mark up. Eventually I got to Motion Kia and Howie. I asked for the out the door pricing and what colors they had coming in, etc. Howie said he called right back with an out the door price... and actually did. There was no BS just honest answers. I gave a deposit over the phone and when we went in to pick up the car everything was set and ready to go. I couldn't believe how quickly we were in and out. Howie also took the time to set up the Kia app and he sat with us in the new vehicle and showed us all the features the car had to offer. He was even able to mail us the plates as the dealership was about an hour from where we live. Went to trade in my sports car for a SUV for winter driving. Subaru Crosstreks are overpriced currently so I was looking for an alternative. That's when I discovered INFINITI offered a small SUV in the U.S for only 3 years, the allusive INIFINITI QX30 AWD & this dealership nearby happen to have one, & not only that it was the exact one I wanted, the highest trim level with the panoramic roof, white exterior with tan interior, absolutely beautiful car! INFINITI's are the best looking vehicles on the road today, in my opinion & this one is made with Mercedes-Benz so it has amazing interior, but the exterior is all sporty Japanese & not boring old man German like. Their price was a little over what other dealers were listing there's at, but this checked off all the boxes of wants for me & since it was close by I went & ended up trading in my car, which I got around the trade-in value I requested. I was in & out of the door in little over an hour... I've bought 5 cars before from 5 different dealerships & this the fastest & most painless experience I've had. If I had any complaint it would be that the salesman was a bit odd, couldn't read him & I'm usually great at reading people. Also they didn't fill the gas tank. I've never bought a car from a dealership before that didn't fill the tank up for me before I left the lot.. but maybe since it's high octane premium fuel they didn't have it on hand or maybe they just couldn't be bothered, unsure. read more

On October 26 I purchased a Kia Sportage 2016, the experience was very pleasant I purchased the car out right and they were very easy to work with I would especially recommend Maria she is very kind and nice and was very helpful, she was my sales agent. Went to look at a new car yesterday at Motion. They are charging a 20 to 25% "market adjustment" premium over MSRP on their new cars. In my opinion that is absolutely price gouging. Why would anyone in their right mind pay 20% more for a new car that will depreciate rapidly. Lied to about free services and they ran my credit 6 times destroying my credit taking now 2 years to built it back up. I gave permission for only 1 credit run, not for it to be ran through 6 banks. I just found out that the car which was purchased brand new had repairs done to it prior to me buying the car. This was never disclosed. Ive been going to Motion Kia for service for years. They were good with me until they hired the new service writer - Sita. If I could give her negative stars, I would. I came in for a routine oil change and she told me I needed to have a $499 oil change and the filters replaced and some other work that sounded strange to me. I checked my owners manual and it said those services didn't even need to be done. I told her that I didn't want to get the services done and she threatened me and told me she was going to take away my tires for life! I also have a few friends that go to Motion for service and they told me about their bad experiences with Sita. We also noticed that NOBODY has received a customer survey from Kia after we have dealt with Sita, which is strange because we got them all the time. I called and spoke with another person at Motion, who told me that my email wasn't even in their system!!!! I used to receive emails from them all the time!!! He also told me that Sita might have removed my email so that my complaint wouldn't affect her ratings at Kia!!! This was unbelievable to me. I wonder how many other customer's email she removed from Motion Kia's system so her ratings dont go down. This email erasing seems to have become a common practice with Sita. Will never recommend this dealership to anyone. After purchasing my car in full from them it took forever to get my plates. I was promised a battery for my key and had to constantly follow up on getting temp tags. My plates arrived 2 months after I purchased the car. I was told their affiliate at the DMV was away then she was out sick. Once my plates arrived I was charged an additional fee which they failed to include in my payment and stated they would mail my plates. A week later no plates. They stated they had to file a claim to locate the plates UPS was supposed to deliver. When I explained my frustration the same associate that said they could mail the plates explained that this has happened 5 times !! This is a sign to change your delivery provider im pretty sure everyone that purchased a car in April went through what I went through. When I finally went to pick up my plates no one expressed any form of apology or dared to say anything. As a Hispanic female I felt disgusted with the manner in which this dealership operates. I'd like to share with you my experience with this dealer. I was looking for a car for my daughter for her college graduation present. She had previously test driven a Kia Forte. Her boyfriend had told me that she really liked it. I went to talk with Ashley about the vehicle. First, she did not even introduce herself, or ask my name. Second, she was dressed like she was on vacation. Third? That comes later. On May 26st, I came to an agreement with Motion Kia salesman Raul for a 2017 Forte S, Vin: 3KPFL4A7SHE104254. I told him this was going to be a surprise, and I would be bringing my daughter to the dealership on the premise that she would be looking at a used Kia. On Saturday May 27th, Sales Manager Sal Albanese called to say that everything was good to go, and he needed me to leave a deposit to hold the car. I gave him a credit card payment of $500. I told him I probably would not be back until Tuesday with my daughter. On Monday evening May 29th, I told my daughter that I found a used Kia and I wanted to take her to see Tuesday morning. When I got up the next morning, very excited about what was going to be a once-in-a-lifetime surprise, I called Sal to let him know that I was on my way. He told me to hold on and transferred me to Raul. Raul then proceeded to tell me that they sold the car by mistake. I was in shock and disbelief. They could have called when they realized it was sold and I could have worked out another plan. I was told one was found at another dealer and would be there on Wednesday. I was trying to remain calm and came up an alternate plan with Raul. I told him I would my daughter to look at another car, and Raul could show my daughter a Forte Lx base model as her surprise. Then when we returned Wednesday evening, she would be surprised with the S model in the color she wanted. Unfortunately, that didn't happen either. Raul took my daughter right to a similar Forte S in the color she had wanted. There went Plan B Everything that I had worked towards, in surprising my daughter, was flushed down the toilet. Everyone at the dealership said the right things but did very little to make things right. I again asked what they were going to do for me for the egregious mistake. I was told I already got a good deal for the car and they couldn't do much except giving free service for the first year. That is what their litany of mistakes was worth. I tried using different analogies to make them understand the hurt and frustration they caused me. All they could say was that they were sorry. As for the previously mentioned Ashley? She did not care what had happened, all she could say was "Well, she got the car". It must be nice to be spoiled rotten with no compassion. I did buy the Kia because it was the car my daughter wanted. At 1500 miles, my daughter went back to them to get the oil changed to get rid of the metal shavings from the break in period. They refused to do the service. I was PROMISED that I would not have any future issues. Just another issue with this dealership I also emailed Kia Customer Service about this. They called me back and gave me 3 year free maintenance. They were shocked that a dealership would treat someone like this. Do yourself a favor and do NOT buy from Motion Kia EVER. The car salesman stigma is real with these guys. Checked out a used car from them a couple months ago. I could tell there were a few things wrong. Spoke to the service manager personally who told me there was an oil leak and a hose with a leak. I thanks him for his transparency and honesty. What a fool I was. Agreed on a price and also spoke to the financing agent about extended coverage. Mistake number 2. Went over how it covers the power train, transmission and 4WD. The mechanic I went to called to get the scoop on the warranty because the vehicle had soooooo many more issues. Come to find out that the coverage is only covers a small percentage of the powertrain, transmission and 4WD. I called and spoke to a salesperson that said he would send me the paperwork to cancel. He never did. And was an ass about it. I finally got the guy I originally spoke to (Bloom) and he did take care of it. Here's the kicker. He never mentioned that if I cancel, that's fine but my payment won't go down,, it stays the same. Apparently they just mail a check to the bank. I will follow up to see what the actual numbers are. Another chalk up to a loss. Now, back to the vehicle that the "service manager" was so nice in going over the small issues. Well it turns out, I needed all new suspension, catalytic converters, new headers to replace a cracked manifold upon a ton of other things. I'm about $7,000 into repairs on this bad boy. I do take some fault in this. Because I trusted them. I did ask if I had any recourse if I purchase, go right to a mechanic and if there is too much work to do, return it. Answer is no. As is. Once again. I made that choice by trusting. Bottom line. Don't be me. Don't trust these guys. Do your due diligence and just stay away. Oh. As far as the salesman. I dunno. He was nice. But I do t know how much he knew or didn't know to make an assumption of guilt on his part. But, as they say. You are like the company you keep. read more

The service dept is what is getting the 1*. I had a service appt to diagnose an issue that is under warranty. I go in they take the car in wait an hour to be told ok this diagnostic will take too long you need to come back. I go in for the second scheduled appt that they needed to keep for the day and arranged a loaner for me, and I get there and they had given away my rental car, no call, wasted trip. Reschedule for another appt they assess a part is required and have to order it and they will call me when in. When there I provided an updated phone number and they write it down on my paperwork that they kept. After hearing nothing for 3.5 weeks I call to find out where it is and they asked had I not gotten their message. I said which number did you call? Of course they stated my old one. This half as$ service will guarantee they have lost me as a customer for life and I have bought two Kia from them and was planning on a third in the next year or so. read more

We found out - 1,000,00 later, that after the "extensive service" they guaranteed us that they used the wrong oil for the oil change, the filter was junk and air filter was filled with acorns which caused the breakdown (see phone of filter after we had it fixed) They are pushing out junk and misleading customers. I was very pleasantly surprized at what great experience i had going through the process of leasing a new Sorento from this dealership. Car shopping can be stressful, the whole team was very nice to my wife and kids and very professional. Our salesman, Andy Kamaris, was super. He took care of my insurance transfer and very knowledgeable about all of his and competitive cars....unlike another Kia dealer that we visited. The team were very fair and Jay, the finance manager, explained every aspect of the deal. It's a smaller dealership and I really like the personal attention that we received as a result. 11/21/19, more BS from Motion Kia. Long story short....our Kia Sorento has an ENGINE RECALL. The dealer wants us to pay 40 dollars for an oil change so that they can "test" the issue that we have had several times. 2x the engine was completely OUT of OIL after driving 2 or 3 thousand miles. They told my wife to "check the oil every time you go to get gas" until you can bring in for The test. She is driving to Maryland with my 2 teenage boys this weekend. She should not have to worry about the engine blowing up and getting stuck. Motion Kia says this is their policy and how they will deal with the recall. I said, "So, should I just drive it until the engine dies so I could get a new one?" Kia's response, "I cant say that to you but...". Basically, if I kill the engine we get a new one. What about taking the vehicle NOW into service and giving us a loaner car while you look for and fix the issue!!? read more
