I've relied on ADS and Frank for nearly 20 years. While I handle most of my own work, I turn to Frank when I need assistance. He always provides honest opinions and is upfront. His reputation is unparalleled, his honesty is beyond compare, and his integrity is impeccable. We all worry about finding a good, honest mechanic and business for our vehicles. Look no further--you're in the right place. Tom D Morristown read more

I've been going here for years (for things I can't do myself) from routine maintenance to modding my car out. Frank always gives an idea of how long it would take, if he is confident in doing it, and always lets you ask questions and takes your opinion seriously. Most places hate when you bring your own parts, but Frank has never complained, even complimenting me on my car, saying that it's a joy to work on and drive. He doesn't charge much in terms of labor, and is fair in pricing of parts. Genuinely loves cars, and making people happy. read more

Frank is an Honest, Friendly and Reliable Mechanic. I've been going to him for many years and he has never let me down. From Tune-ups, to engine and transmission rebuilds and aftermarket upgrades, he did it all. He even resolved issues where the Factory Autodealer said they won't touch. Thank you Frank!! read more

this place is recommended by a friend of mine... he said they are honest and they will tell you if you need anything fix, and if it's not time to fix, they will tell you... so I bought my car in to have them check on my brake... and he told me that I definitely need to get it fix!! unfortunately they will have to order my parts, and it may take a while... knowing that I only have that day off and it will be difficult for me to come back on another day... he call another store, try to get the part for me for a later time, squeeze me in so I can have the brake fix that same day!! Even I have to drive back to the store and sit there and wait, but everything is done within the hour!!! I also observe that everyone that walk in to the door know every one who work inside!! they are very friendly, very courteous... and they take care of everyone like they know them for ages!!! I will definitely come back if I have other issue with my car... and definitely recommend this place to all my friends!!!!. read more

Last year, my car didn't start during the heavy rains we had. So I got it towed to an unnamed chain auto body place, and waited for 2 weeks to no avail. I gave up and got my car towed to ADS. I got my car back within 24hrs because of a dead battery. That other place misdiagnosed it as an engine problem (see my other review). Saved tons of money and headaches. Thanks Frank! read more

I've been going to ADS Automotive for a little over 15 years. They're courteous, professional, trustworthy, accommodating and reliable. They have worked on all the different car brands I've had over the years: Chevy, Honda, Toyota, Nissan and Mazda. Frank takes the time to explain the issue in terms you'll understand. He would also tell you when is not worth fixing it, instead of taking your money. read more

Very trustworthy establishment. Frank runs a right shop and is very honest. They won't do unnecessary work or try to milk money or of you. I've been coming here for years! read more

I have been coming to Frank for a few years now and I have nothing but positive things to say about ADS. They are honest and upfront with what needs to be done with your car and what can wait to be done. They are conscientious of the wellbeing of your car but they certainly aren't trying to get you to spend money that you don't need to. It's a very friendly business; I drive from Hudson county to visit because they are quick with their services, transparent, reliable and affordable. You can't beat those characteristics! I know my car is in great hands here! Highly recommend! read more

I have a 1997 Jeep Wrangler, Frank diagnosed the problem with my Jeep. No other mechanic had been able to previously. He is honest and my vehicle has never ran better! Highly recommend, extremely honest. I am a customer for life. My entire family uses ADS Automotive, he is the best! read more

Recently had a bearing seize up on my boat trailer and limped into ADS Automotive as it was the closest repair shop to our location. Frank went out of his way to help us get back on the road. Once we were able to locate a new bearing kit, he had the old bearing removed and ready for install. Frank is a great guy and dropped everything else he had going on to get us back on the road! His price was also more than fair, when he could have held us over the fire! Can't say enough about ADS and Frank. Thanks again for your great service! read more

Have three cars in the household all different makes. Finally found an auto repair establishment that's down to earth, gives straight and truthfull answers and fair prices. In today's world its really a joy to find an owner who is honorable and proud of his company. read more

Been going to ADS for years. Honest is not a word that is tossed about easily in the auto repair business. Frank, the owner, is as honest, professional, and pleasant as anyone in ANY business. A great place to have any repair done. read more

Frank is skilled and honest, and his staff could not be nicer. I highly recommend ADS Automotive Services!

I took my BMW to Frank with a world of problems. He figured out, no easy task, what was wrong and corrected the problem. Others would have given up and told me it was over for the engine. He painstakingly worked on it and now runs like new. Thank you Frank and staff. read more

Just a bit of background... I've been coming to ADS Automotive since 1998, when Dan owned it as a single mechanic. He brought on Frank shortly thereafter. Frank bought the business a few years later and continued the integrity and honesty of the business. I've NEVER been disappointed in their services. There are no hidden costs and tell you upfront what the issues may be with your vehicle. They are flexible and prioritize customer service. Seriously, ALL businesses should be run this way. Frank has expanded a bit and can't speak with every customer personally. It's obvious ADS Automotive's stellar reputation precedes them. I've run a business myself and I know how difficult it is to keep every customer happy and satisfied. Frank's business is as good as it gets. This place should franchise! read more

You can't do better that ADS. I began using them about 28 years ago when it was DMZ and Dan was in charge. About 10 or 12 years ago it became ADS and Frank took over. I am happy to report that the car care is still as excellent with ADS as it had been with DMZ and I remain a very satisfied customer even with the name change. The staff is easy to communicate with, diagnoses your car problem appropriately, describes complex problems in easy terms, lets you know your options, and then does what is needed to fix your car and get you rolling again. I won't use anyone else. A good mechanic that you can trust is hard to find. read more
