First time going there and Mike and staff treated me like I had been going to them for years. Would recommend them to anyone in the area.

Avoid This Midas Location at All Costs…read more On August 14th, a mechanic at this Midas store replaced the radiator on my 2012 Honda Odyssey. I drove the car daily afterward, including a round trip from Dover to East Brunswick -- over an hour each way in heavy traffic on Route 287 -- with no issues. No overheating, no leaks, nothing. Then on Saturday, September 6th, I returned to Midas for an alignment and to check the ABS light. I had a noon appointment, but due to staff shortages, they didn't lift my car until 1 PM. After inspecting it, they asked me to come into the shop -- antifreeze was all over the floor. They claimed the radiator installation had been poorly done, and that the engine had overheated, causing a hose to burst. I was shocked, having driven the car for over two weeks without a single problem. They handed me a $1,293.07 estimate just to get the car running again -- not including the alignment. They said I needed a new hose, radiator fan, and thermostat, but couldn't get the parts that day. With the store closing at 5 PM and it already being 3 PM, I had no choice but to leave the car. For reference, they quoted $241.99 for a radiator fan that costs $79 on Amazon and $130 at AutoZone -- just for the part. They completed the repair on Monday and gave me a $100 discount since it was a follow-up to the original job. They also recommended replacing the hub, axle, and tie rod. Oddly, there was a note at the bottom of the invoice stating "transmission lines are a bit rusty," but they never mentioned it or gave me a quote. Regarding the ABS issue, they first blamed the sensor -- even joking that "Duralast doesn't last" -- but by Monday, they changed their story and said it was the hub. I picked up the car Monday, still without the alignment or ABS fix, and paid $1,186.44. On Tuesday, I drove 5 miles to work. Wednesday, I went to a meeting 2 miles from home, and on the way back, I noticed the RPMs were unusually high. The transmission started acting up, and I saw fluid leaking -- my driveway was stained. I popped the hood and saw transmission fluid leaking near the radiator. I called Mike at Midas, who told me not to drive the car and to bring it in another day since they were busy. I dropped it off Friday morning, September 12th. Later that day, they said the transmission line was leaking and quoted $770 to fix it. I was furious -- the car had never leaked before, and this started right after their repair. I told them not to touch the car. When I arrived at 4:30 PM, Mike refused to give me my keys unless I signed a waiver stating I had declined the transmission line repair -- which was never discussed or quoted. He was rude and dishonest, but I signed just to get my car back. The car was barely drivable, so I took it to a nearby mechanic. He fixed the transmission lines for $400 and showed me the damage -- a hole right next to the radiator, exactly where Midas had worked. He couldn't believe they had missed it. There's no way they didn't see that leak when they fixed the radiator. I believe they damaged the transmission line during the repair and refused to take responsibility. In the end, I spent nearly $2,000 and never got the alignment I originally came in for. I wasted time, dealt with unnecessary stress, and nearly lost my transmission -- and my car. Their repair recommendations were questionable too. The other mechanic said the tie rod didn't need replacing; the nut was just loose. I strongly advise staying away from this store. I reported everything to Midas corporate via online submission and phone call, but it's been over a week with no response or follow-up.

I came to this establishment strictly as a paying customer looking for a routine oil change…read more Instead of a standard, professional transaction, I was subjected to a bizarre, hostile, and emotionally manipulative dynamic by the service writer. Rather than staying focused on the job, the employee was incredibly petty, passive-aggressive with his delayed greetings, and actively tried to shift blame onto me while literally whining when called out. It felt less like an auto shop and more like dealing with an immature child throwing a tantrum. A customer should never be forced to manage a service advisor's fragile ego or childhood-level behavioral issues just to get a car serviced. To make matters worse, another employee from the shop called me later. Instead of calling to actually rectify a terrible customer experience, it was completely obvious he was just fishing for information, looking for internal gossip, and digging for details about what was said. This shop completely lacks professional guardrails, proper boundaries, and basic respect for their customers. They treat their front desk like a personal living room for emotional games. I will absolutely never step foot in this business again, and I strongly advise anyone looking for a clean, professional, drama-free experience to take their money elsewhere.

A terrible company. Ive been there 3 times and they always claim that the necessary repairs are…read morefar greater than they actually are. The one time I let them work on my car, they didnt fix it; they charged me over $300 for TRYING to figure out what was wrong with it; which they never told me that they were going to charge me for TRYING to figure out what was wrong with it. I spoke privately with a mechanic who worked there and HE knew what was wrong with it: a blown engine. I took it to another mechanic and he confirmed that it was a blown engine, which was obvious. By this point, however, since they were charging me over $300 for nothing, I wasnt going to let them install an engine. I pointed out to Mario that I shouldnt have to pay since they didnt do anything, and he got very nasty. Years later, I took another car there which clearly only needed to have bolts put in to reattach the exhaust pipe, but Mario tried to convince me that I need two new catalytic converters. When I pointed this out to Mario, another man there said "we fix cars to last years, not months". In my experiences, the people who run this business are crooks. I see that there are a few positive reviews of this business, I do not believe they are legit. For one thing, anyone who would claim they have good prices must have never been to any other auto shop. Given my experiences, I dont see how anyone could have had a good experience. NB I had to give the company one star, the system doesnt allow zero stars.

I had a great experience purchasing my new 2026 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. I needed to replace my old car…read morequickly and was looking for a specific model. My salesperson, Goksel Aksoy, took the time to show me that every 2026 RAV4 Hybrid they had, even those that hadn't arrived yet, had already been sold. There was one available for me, that was scheduled to arrive between 7/30-8/10, but it wasn't my ideal color or option package. Given how limited inventory was, I was prepared to take it. Then, on July 29, Goksel called to let me know that another RAV4 Hybrid had just become available because the original buyer backed out. It was exactly the color and options I had been hoping for. Knowing how quickly it would sell, he contacted me immediately. I told him I'd be there in 30 minutes, and he made sure I was the first person to test drive it and had the first opportunity to purchase it. Thanks to his quick thinking and professionalism, I drove home in the exact vehicle I wanted. Throughout the entire process, Goksel was friendly, honest, respectful, and incredibly helpful. I never felt pressured, and I truly appreciated how responsive and transparent he was. If you're looking for a new vehicle, I highly recommend both this dealership and this Goksel Aksoy. They made what could have been a stressful experience smooth, enjoyable, and successful.

Horrible experience at Towne Toyota in Ledgewood, NJ. I highly recommend shopping elsewhere…read more I purchased a Toyota Certified Pre-Owned 2023 Toyota RAV4 from Towne Toyota in April 2026. Before purchasing, I noticed cosmetic damage that had been poorly repaired. The general manager acknowledged it and reduced the price, so I decided to move forward. Unfortunately, the problems started immediately. On the drive home, I heard a noise and discovered a piece of the exterior body molding coming loose and falling off. I returned to the dealership, where it was simply reattached. About a week later, I began experiencing braking issues. The brakes did not seem to stop the vehicle properly; the brake pedal would sink almost to the floor, and eventually a Brake warning light appeared. I contacted the general manager and brought the vehicle in. Before any technician inspected it, the service manager got into my vehicle, pressed buttons, shifted it into gear, and applied the parking brake until the warning light disappeared. When I asked why he would clear the warning before it could be diagnosed, he offered no explanation. Fortunately, the employee who checked me in had already seen the warning light, and I also had a photo of it. After waiting more than an hour, I was told the vehicle was safe to drive. Almost immediately after leaving, the Brake warning light returned, forcing me to turn around. I was then told the vehicle needed a new sensor and battery, but the sensor was not in stock, requiring another trip. About a week later, the Brake warning light came on again. During my next visit, the service manager became argumentative and raised his voice, claiming the problem was the steering angle sensor--the same component I had been told was already replaced. Toyota states that the Brake warning light can indicate a braking system failure and advises drivers to pull over immediately and have the vehicle towed. Despite this, I was repeatedly told the vehicle was safe to drive. The dealership eventually agreed to replace additional braking components, but the necessary parts were again unavailable, requiring yet another trip. Since the dealership is about an hour from my home, these repeated visits resulted in significant lost time. When I finally received a loaner vehicle, nearly two weeks passed without a single update. After I contacted the dealership, I was told the Brake warning light had returned even after additional repairs, meaning they still had not resolved the issue. While checking the Toyota app, I noticed my vehicle was parked at a residential address instead of the dealership. I later learned the service manager had taken my vehicle home, which further damaged my confidence in how it was being handled. About two months later, I returned because the suspension felt unusually soft and unstable. The vehicle floated over the road, had excessive body roll, bounced over small bumps, and produced loud banging noises from the driver's side front suspension. The paint is also peeling in several areas, and rust is beginning to form. The service manager photographed the damage but never explained what would be done or whether it would be covered. This has been the most problematic vehicle I have ever owned. Between the repeated safety concerns, unsuccessful repair attempts, poor communication, and dismissive customer service, I have completely lost confidence in Towne Toyota. I cannot recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership and will never do business with them again.
