My dad stops by frequently just to say hi when he's running errands downtown and is warmly welcomed like Norm at Cheers every time. In addition to having our cars serviced, they plow my parents' driveway when it snows, have helped me surprise my dad with grills on more than one birthday, and Jim Sr (I miss him!) once dropped everything to personally rescue me when my car broke down on Route 78 in the early 2000s. They are nothing short of amazing all around! A true gem in downtown Summit.

I came here with the front end of my car disassembled and with an incorrect mail-order inner tie rod that I had purchased online. This isn't a place for small talk, which I appreciate because I was in a hurry and needed the right part. There was a question as to whether my steering rack was manufactured by TRW or SMI. Although they only had one in stock, the sales guy said he could have the other option available for me within an hour from their other location. They're prices aren't the lowest, but there's definitely a level of expertise you'll find here that's sorely lacking at too many auto parts retail chains. These guys have experience in their field, and it shows. I'll definitely be back.

I was in the market to purchase a truck and Salerno, Duane Chrysler Jeep had just the vehicle I was…read morelooking for. My salesman, Francisco was friendly and easy to talk to. I told him what I wanted and he pointed out a 2018 jeep grand Cherokee that just came in. We went on a test drive, and I instantly fell in love with the vehicle a short, while later, I was negotiating the purchase of said vehicle. I would definitely come back to purchase another car in the future and I would recommend anyone looking for a jeep Chrysler, or dodge to give them a try. The staff was very friendly, and they had a wide range of vehicles and different trims and colors. The professionalism of the dealership was top notch, and for that I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a car or a truck.

The service manager later acknowledged that the estimate had not been double-checked before being sent and apologized for the mistake. Combined with the difficulty I experienced reaching staff by phone, the overall experience left me with very little confidence in the service process.

One time I needed help locating the correct and changing my windshield wipers. The gentleman behind the counter helped me find the right pair, assisted me at the register, and changed the wipers for me - all while showing me how easy it is to do it myself next time. Another recent time, I needed help replacing a dying key fob battery and an employee helped me from start to finish. I really appreciated his patience and willingness because I know the dealership itself would not have gone above or beyond (and they would not have held back overcharging me). Valley Auto Parts is one of the best locally owned supply stores I can imagine. With products for a…read morerange of vehicles in stock, the business has earned a way into my regular rotation for maintaining and fixing a 1998 Volvo. The last time I stopped in, I was looking for a coolant tee hose connector of a specific size. With just a passing glance at the broken piece in my hand, the guy behind the counter (the owner?) swooped to a pegboard on the wall and plucked out the exact replacement part I was looking for. Amazingly, it was a part I had spent considerable time looking online at the largest e-retailer and the other large online auction site, and while I did find it there, too, I preferred the immediacy of buying it in a bricks-and-mortar store and at a comparable price as at the supposed discount sites. Coolant hoses, sold by the foot and custom-cut, were also much more convenient and economical to buy locally. I'll definitely be back the next time my car needs regular maintenance, repairs or a wash and wax!
