I purchased my 2023 A3 from Audi Mendham over 3 years ago. I love my A3 ... handles so well, no major issues, and simply fun to drive. I am diligent in terms of keeping up with all my service requirements and have used Audi Mendham since I purchased my car. Recently, I felt something was a bit off and brought it in. Turns out I needed 4 new tires. I have to say that Anthony in the Service Department was simply the most professional and customer-focused person. 1 Star - Deeply Disappointed and Concerned for Safety I had a terrible experience with Audi Mendham. I purchased a brand-new vehicle that clearly had not been properly prepped for delivery. The shipping spacers were left on the car -- something that should have been caught during inspection. When I brought the car back the first time due to driving issues, I was told it was just flat tires. It wasn't until they put it on the lift that they discovered the spacers had been left in. Even after that, the car's electronics were malfunctioning. It started revving on its own at a stoplight, triggering a call from roadside assistance because it appeared I had been in an accident. That's how unsafe the situation was. I brought the car back again, and they had to bring in an engineer to address the issue -- all within the first month of ownership. Despite all of this, I've only driven the car for three days total. It has spent the rest of the time at the dealership. Now they are refusing to exchange the car, and the only "solution" they offered was to let me walk away from my $10,000 deposit in order to get into a different vehicle. That's completely unacceptable for a car that was unsafe and improperly delivered from the start. I expected more from Audi. This experience has been stressful, frightening, and extremely disappointing. read more

Service department couldn't be worse - charges for unnecessary work and won't remove charges of you skip it. Omits customer notes on warranty work, and lies about it later on. Never getting another Audi from them. Sales used to be good, but now it is limited negotiation and hard push on upsell add on like maintenance plans and tire warranties. read more

Audi Mendham delivered my car back to me with a broken handle on my console. I called immediately to report this, including pictures and video only to be told that they would 'get back' to me the next day. one week later, still waiting. I called the service manager two days ago and left a message...STILL WAITING! read more

Audi Mendham has the worst service re: calling back and fixing problems. My Audi S5 does not have a carplay, and it is very poor re: technical re: iphone. I have complained for 2 years that my iPhone does not sync properly with my car. Audi has not/can not fix it. I thought it might be my iPhone, but I got a new iPhone 14 Pro Max- same problem- it only syncs sometimes. No answer from Audi since 9/21. I have also had problems with turning which Audi took forever to address. We have 2 Audis & we would never buy another. read more

NO response from Service Dept. Called to make a routine service appointment. Took all My information and was told a Service Dept. rep would call me back in a view minutes to schedule - I was interested in an appointment in no sooner than 5 days. Waited 24 hours - NO RESPONSE. Called a second time. Had to provide all my information AGAIN and was told someone from Service would call me shortly to schedule. It has been more than 2 DAYS since my second call and NOTHING. Not wasting my time here any longer - moving on and you should too. read more

I am updating my review after a year and a half of owning my new vehicle. I have been driving for almost ten years and never before had a flat tire. With this brand new vehicle, I have had 3 flat tires within a year and a half keeping me on the side of the road in the dark for hours. I know other people who have had audis, and many complain about getting flat tires. I always now bring up this safety concern whenever someone asks me if I like my vehicle. While driving to pick up kids from school, my wife slashed her Tire after she hit a pothole on the road today. I called Mendham Audi and they had one tire left. Slowly drove car there (run flat tires work even with a huge gash on the sidewall). Upon arrival, Amanda, in service, took the keys and had the vehicle in the shop within minutes. Not only did they change the tire, but they took care of the oil change since it was due. I was out of there within an hour. Excellent service. My 2013 Audi Q5 had a major steering issue and a few minor issues as well but none of which were appearing as codes. After taking it to other mechanics who couldn't determine the issue, the Audi in Mendham knew exactly what the problem was (corrosion in the steering shaft + oil leak) and fixed it on the spot. I worked with Casey behind the desk while Bob fixed my vehicle, both of which did a stand up job and had amazing hospitality. I had no intent on bringing my car to a dealership but after my experience with these two, I'll be coming back whenever I want work to be done on my car. read more

(This is a real review, unlike the swarm of obviously fake reviews.) In summary: I have owned four Audis, so I might consider myself somewhat of an experienced Audi consumer. Here's what I learned: Audi A4s with manual transmissions have brakes that occasionally fail. The bottom line is, if you think brakes are something that should function 100% of the time, don't buy an Audi and if you must, don't service it at Audi of Mendham. You would think that Audi of Mendham would be concerned about a customer driving around with brakes that occasionally do not actually stop the car no matter how hard you stomp on the pedal. In fact, the service manager tried to convince me the problem was all in my head, or that I'm a sad excuse for a female driver, or something in between. He actually said to me, "Ma'am, the good news is that it's not like your brakes have failed or anything" after a harrowing incident where I almost rear-ended a minivan. He tells me that this "brake problem" I'm having is impossible and that neither he, nor anybody else, has ever heard of it before. Uh, did you do a Google search my fine service manager friend? I live upstate in Poughkeepsie, NY but I found a specific car I was looking for at AUDI MENDHAM in NJ. A 2020 AUDI S5 Coupe. I called to set up a day and time to come look at the car and they held it for me with no hassles. When I came in to check it out, they had it waiting for me front and center, shiny and gleaming, filled with gas, and ready for me to take it out for a spin. This is a detailed, real review unlike these other fake reviews. Went to this Audi dealership because I lost trust of the dealership nearest me. Back story: owned 2 audis, I usually do my repairs myself because I don't trust other people. But with this issue, I didn't trust myself. I know it sounds simple but I need battery replacement. I wanted to do it myself as I bought a brand new battery already. But was worried about the coding and lost of memory. Didn't want my radio to go into safe mode and what not. Anyways, scheduled an appointment. $145 for the battery replacement labor (bought battery already). Came in, greeted service supervisor? Gave keys and waited, everything normal so far. Got bored, walked around the small dealership, place looks like a house, smallest dealership I've ever seen. Looks like a used lot to be honest. Anyways, it's been 30 mins from when I sat down the lounge area after I handed my keys over. As I walked behind the stealership, I saw my car still at the same spot as I have left it! I sat outside in the back wondering when they'll get to work. Finally an employee saw me and drove my car in their garage. 30 minutes later they were finished. The supervisor told me "since you're car is so clean, we're not going to do the courtesy car wash because it might ruin it". In my head, I was like whatever, I always wash my own car anyways and knew car wash places will scratch your paint and reuse same brushes and towels. I replied to the supervisor ok and was confused a bit. Maybe because they take customers' audis to local car wash place? The supervisor there knew I had an eye on my Audi the whole time. The small dealership definitely can't house multiple audis to their repair garage and also have a car wash system. That place is so small. On my way home from hiking, I got a flat on 287 near Basking Ridge. Got the spare on and headed straight to this dealership without having any prior relationship at all. (I prefer to go to Audi for everything, even to fix a flat. They treat you extremely well and make sure everything is completed to Audi standards.) This dealership in particular was extremely well run. I pulled in, asked for help getting a patch and the lights reset and within an hour I was on my way. I certainly would not recommend there warranty service and aftercare and customer service. They refused to do a warranty job on my 2016 Audi after initially stating it wasn't in warranty, it was in warranty, they even got that wrong, but I think they did back track on that after being confronted. After stating that I did not agree with there reasons, for not doing my warranty work, I stated that " but your Audi and your not even trying to help me" the response from the service manager was "we're not Audi we're Mendham Audi, we're just a dealership" he then gave me the number for Audi USA customer service and told me to take it up with them. I did and they were awesome! Very helpful. The agent booked me in to Paul Miller Audi, In Parsipanny NJ. Talk about night and day, Paul Miller Audi we're fantastic and way more professional & courteous and what a great facility and team. To cut a long story short they vehicle fixed my vehicle under warranty and gave me a courtesy car for two days. I will never darken the door step of Mendham Audi again, I should of gone straight to Paul Miller Audi as my many friends had suggested but I thought I'd try my door step Audi Dealer. Called 5 different Audi service departments to ask pricing and details for some work that needed to be done to my newly purchased (used) vehicle. Audi of Mendham were the only ones who were nice and pleasant on the phone. They were informative and helpful. Every time I call they are polite and friendly. Their loaner cars are always immaculate, their lounge comfy. It's a small dealership and not really convenient to me, but I will keep going back as they are so nice to work with.
