This greatly impacted credit rating. -The person who bought the 2023 Audi SQ7 from Maplecrest Ford in Mendham had been driving with an illegal title which seems like an illegal sale. -Maplecrest Ford's reasons for not properly paying off the Audi lease: We changed banks, Audi Financial required an electronic payoff, we sent a check in the regular mail, the check was return, etc. When asked for documentation, Maplecrest could not present it. 4- Owner, Tom Giordano was on vacation; owner Theo Giordano and Emma Giordano were "working from home"; finance manager, Marie Wiggins and my salesman Dan Khalall were "off". 5- Ryan at Audi Financial's third party, Manheim, told Sales Manager, Dave Cozza at Maplecrest Ford, to pay it off. 6- 7 weeks after Maplecrest issued a bad affidavit for Trade-in, Maplecrest was informed this could be a serious offense. They then paid off the Audi lease. 7- To reinstate perfect credit score, Maplecrest is required to submit a Letter of Explanation to Audi Financial. They refused. Hence, please be advised that Maplecrest Ford in Mendham is not a reputable dealership.

I know cars. I've been working on my own cars for 25 years. I have neither the time or space to do it any longer, and when I need something I don't want to do myself, or can't do myself (tires, alignments, etc), I take it here. I have no expectations that *MY* problem is any more important than the other customers. I understand that auto repair and service can take a lot longer than initial estimates. I recognize that there are dozens of mechanical systems that work together, and a single worn or broken part, when left untreated, can put undue stress or extreme wear on other parts within that system. The guys at American Tire is Chester know what they are talking about, are more than happy to answer any questions you have and will respect a budget (within the limits of safety) if you tell them that's a concern. They'll give you recommended services, warnings about stuff that is going to need service soon, and tell you what really needs to be fixed before the car leaves. I have always had a positive customer experience at this shop, and the prices are reasonable for services a professional shop. Yeah, it's going to cost a lot more than taking it to your buddy Mike who has a jack ad a wrench, and maybe a bit more than a guy not paying rent on a sizeable shop and working out of a single bay local garage. But there are usually multiple mechanics on duty and the work is done in a reasonable amount of time. Watch your mailings, schedule service when there are specials, discounts or coupons, and it's a plenty competitively priced place to have work done. Do your homework as a car owner and consumer. There's stuff that needs to happen to your car so it lasts longer than 150,000 miles. Not all "recommended" services are up-sells or fabricated costs. At the very least, check your owners manual for service intervals and expected replacements by mileage before accusing a professional of being dishonest. So here you go guys, a repeat customer that has never had a bad experience.
