We loooved this small intimate resturant! Stopped here before a movie and almost didn't have room for popcorn. A little short on staff, but the restaurant was packed and they did amazing for being short handed. Lots of food, pita before your meal, and the desserts are homemade!

I got my food to go and got the beef/lamb kebab platter, salmon dinner, and hummus. I asked for mainly vegetables instead of the rice because I didn't want to eat too many carbs. The food was great. I waited about 15 minutes more when I got there to pick ip my food. No biggie.

We stopped in here the other day sort of between lunch and dinner. The place had a very homey, comforting feel to it. The menu had plenty to choose from so it took us a little bit to make up our mind but it all worked out great in the end. We ordered the cold appetizer plate for 2 to share and on the plate was baba ganoush, hummus, a couple stuffed grape leaves, a few carrots, lebne, acili ezme, and a nice warm basket of bread. This was an excellent way to start our meal and we also ordered a couple of cocktails, I had the cosmo and my cousin had the sidecar made with brandy. We would both order those cocktails again. For our main dishes my cousin ordered the mixed grill and I had Lahmacun which was a Kurdish style pizza with lamb. We liked both dishes. I did want to order something for dessert they had a few choices but they only had baklava and that's not what I was interested in. This was the only fault of the restaurant everything else was perfect. We already decided we would go back again.

I'd been quite curious about this little spot for a bit but never got the chance to try it... Until recently when I convinced the boss to check it out with me for lunch. Definitely glad I did because we both really enjoyed it. For lunch, it was a little pricey, but you absolutely got what you paid for. We went on a Thursday for lunch. It wasn't too busy but they did have some carryout business going on. The place itself seems tiny from the outside, but they do have a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Their menu has a lot of unique options ranging from gyros, kebabs, sautéed dishes, soups, salads, and tasty shareables. We started out with some pita bread and kisir. It had a very unique taste that neither of us could stop eating. As for our main entrees, he got a gyro with a side of lentil soup, and I opted for the sautéed lamb special. Right after we ordered, their head chef came out to meet us, and offered a special lamb leg that she'd just finished cooking instead of their usual dish. I'm always up for trying new things so I said sure. She was very friendly and inviting. We hardly waited long at all before everything was ready. My boss's gyro was HUGE and loaded with meat. My lamb was phenomenal and the meat was so tender that it fell right off the bone. My dish was so big that I could only finish about half, but I'm definitely a meal prepper, so I saved the rest for lunch just yesterday (it held up amazingly well). After we finished what we could, their chef came out and offered us some Turkish tea and talked to us about the tradition of serving tea after a meal. She said it gives people a reason to stay and talk more and create lasting bonds of friendship. The tea itself was very tasty too. I really enjoyed everything about this spot. I could absolutely see going here again, but of course, with my babe instead of my boss.

I had dinner here with family on Sunday evening. There were five of us but they weren't busy so we were sat immediately. We ordered the Hummus and the Stuffed Grape Leaves for appetizers. The hummus was delicious! As were the breads and dipping oil that were served with it. The buns were especially yummy and everyone liked them. The dipping oil was also really good! The stuffed grape leaves were ok. They kind of had a bitter, canned taste -like they weren't fresh made. For our entrees there were two orders of Stuffed Cabbage Rolls, two orders of Chicken Kebabs and one order of Kofte Kebab. I think everyone liked their entrees for the most part. I didn't care for the cabbage rolls here. Just a personal taste. They were very heavy handed on a certain spice. Paprika? Aleppo? I'm not sure but you could see it very heavy on the inside and it overpowered the dish. My husband didn't notice it until the next day, when he warmed up both of our leftovers for his lunch. He had a beer that evening and I guess it diluted the flavor.The next day didn't care as much for them either. The same complaint. While we thought most of the food was pretty good and the service was too - it's a bit overpriced. We would definitely return to try more of the menu.

I had the blessed opportunity to meet the owners of LEYLA and enjoy a meal with them. The meal was by far, one of the best I have had in my life. From the grilled vegetables, lamb and chicken to the hummus, grape leaves, and babaganoush (which I rarely go for), everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. I could taste the love in every single bite. I must also add, the BAKLAVA is world class. It was lighter than others I have tasted and I swear was in honey and pistachio heaven. For me, service is king and LEYLA delivered greatly in this area as well. I highly recommend. And plan to return but next time, with friends. Dine local, support small business, support minority-owned business. And be kind and patient as many are short staffed at this time.

Wonderful addition to Anderson Town Center. We had Hummus with flatbread Wife had stuffed cabbage, daughter had shrimp casserole and I enjoyed the chicken kabob. The flavors were rich and spectacular with fast polite service. read more

The food was good and the portions are very generous. 3 could have easily eaten off of our dinner plate for 2! Service was good. Nice,quaint atmosphere with a nice patio with several tables. If your looking to have a gyro you'll need to go for lunch as they aren't served for dinner. Skip the baklava, it was a little dry. I've made better and I'm not even Greek. I would try it again, but probably for lunch. read more

We made the drive from downtown Cincinnati to Anderson which was about a 30 minute drive due to the amazing reviews. It's a cute little restaurant and we were there for lunch. We ordered the Adana kebab and Shish kebab meals with Turkish tea afterwards. The food was delicious, very well seasoned and the quality of the ingredients was high. I asked questions about the food and ingredients since they were new to me and they kindly explained in detail. We will definitely return to try some of the other entrees. It is located in a cute shopping plaza and a nice AMC movie theater is there too so we ended up walking over afterwards and watched a movie. read more

I was disappointed with the level of service. The food was good once it arrived 45 minutes after we ordered. We never got our appetizers and never got an apology. They dropped the dinner off and never came by to check on us. I would not recommend this restaurant. read more

Excellent! I would recommend going with the mixed grill plate if you haven't had this type of food before. You can then sample most of the meats - my favorites were the kofta and the spicy ground chicken (cant remember the name). This was a great find! read more

I LOVE Leyla. My favorite is Adana kebab. The Doner Kebab is some of the best I have ever had. Service is great, portions appropriate, I've never come away disappointed. I've been going there for years and I hope they're there for years to come. read more

Been to Leylas multiple times. Always good food and service. The appetizer sampler is enough for a meal for two. Nice to have a good quality restaurant on beechmont since most of the rest are greasy sports bars or low quality chains. read more

We just happened upon LEYLA and we we so pleased with the flavorful food, excellent service and relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed appetizers, calamari, wrapped feta and herb. The calamari was tender and small fried to perfection with a nice sauce. The wrapped feta and herb was fantastic with fresh tomatoes. Dinner was delicious and we were stuffed. The service was great, not overwhelming or hovering. Just right there when needed. read more

My husband and I are huge fans of Mediterranean food, and we are also new to the area. Where we used to live, we had two Mediterranean restaurants that were near and dear to our hearts (stomachs?). So naturally, when we were looking for a restaurant and found this one, we were pretty excited. Before our entrees, we were given this incredible bread. For my meal, I ordered the falafel dinner. It seemed to have several different components, which was nice. I felt it gave me a better idea of what the food tasted like. I enjoyed my meal a lot. The hummus was definitely the best I've ever had, and the falafel was pretty good too. I liked the veggies that came with the meal. I love vegetables, so it was really exciting to me to have a bunch on my plate. I think my husband ordered a kabob dinner of some kind that he liked alright. My husband said he actually liked my meal better, which is saying something because we have *very* different tastes in food. We also ordered a yogurt drink that was not very good. It probably is to other people - it just wasn't for us. We weren't expecting it to be like a milkshake, but we were expecting some sweetness. Instead we got a really sour beverage. It tasted like unsweetened, unflavored Greek yogurt in a cup with some ice. My other comments are that the service was decent, but I felt our meals were really expensive for what we got. I would say this restaurant is worth a visit for the hummus though. read more

This is our favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the area. We've visited about 6 or 7 times and we order take out regularly. We have never, ever had a bad experience. The food is always delicious, the service is always attentive without being overbearing and it is well worth the price. If you're in the mood for something different, try the stuffed cabbage rolls. The cabbage is delicate and the meat mixture is seasoned just right. I also highly recommend the hummus and baba ganoush. The mixed grill is a meat lovers dream, and the Greek salad has huge chunks of fresh vegetables, homemade pickles and feta cheese tossed in a light dressing that does not overpower the other ingredients. And don't forget to order dessert and Turkish coffee. It will be the crowning glory on an amazing meal. read more

This place is AMAZING. From the friendliness of the staff to incredible food. My family and I will be back many times again. I have enjoyed Mediterranean food my whole life and this is some of the best I have ever had. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. You can tell everything cooked fresh and to order. Just went for dinner and it was delicious. Beautiful presentation on food. The flavors are outstanding and probably the best grape leaves I ever had! Cute little corner restaurant that I assume looks beautiful in the spring and summertime. We got the mixed grill plate and all the meats were well seasoned and incredibly tender. I saw the high ratings and gave this place a try and very glad I did. It was perfect for a much needed date day. read more

Still best tasting Mediterranean food. Tonight invited my family to enjoy this gem with us. I think for the most part it was enjoyed. Extremely long wait for food. Then again they only have one server. She does an exceptional job, but our wait was long. Some of the food items were over done and one item was served burned. I know they raised their prices which is totally fine, but to charge 4.50 for a fountain drink is ridiculous. We will return, not sure they will. read more

The food didn't seem to have much taste, I was especially disappointed in the hummus because usually homemade hummus is so much fresher and tastier than store bought hummus, but the hummus here just seemed bland and lumpy. I bought hummus from the grocery on the way home. read more

An outstanding addition to Anderson Township! We ordered the Cold Appetizer for two and the Borek- a tasty delight! Fresh homemade Turkish bread is outstanding! So much food!! We also ordered the Special Beyti, Doner Kebab and the Adana Kebab - everything was amazing - so full of flavor! Finished the meal with a Turkish Coffee - the service came in beautiful Turkish pots and was a very elegant way to end our meal. Highly recommend! read more

One of the worst restaurants I've ever eaten at. I stood at the front desk for 15 minutes before I was acknowledged. I ordered 5 dinners and one dessert. The meat was so tough couldn't eat it. The tilapia was bad with horrible flavor. The vegetable dish had no seasoning or flavor. None of the 5 dishes had any flavor or sauces. It tasted like they cooked these 5 dishes in 1 minute. The dessert was a rice dish that had 10 table spoons of rice for $8.00. Ten cents worth of rice for $8.00. A lot of the dishes were around $25. This place is a joke. read more

THIS PLACE IS THE REAL DEAL Had lunch yesterday for the first time at LEYLA.. It's a cozy little place that has a very authentic vibe, but the food is what you will go back for. Without getting long winded, let's just say I could go everyday if not to eat anything but the homemade bread.. It's without a doubt the best bread I've EVER eaten.. Hands down!! We had the cold appetizer that included Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, Acili Ezme, stuffed grape leaves, Kisir and Eggplant sauce.. DELICIOUS! This would have made more sense for 4 people and we were only two, so we were getting a little full before our Lamb sandwiches came out.. WOW were they just to die for! And huge portions.. I prefer the cubes of lamb but the Adana was equally yummy. Almost forgot I tried a cup of Lentil soup that exploded with different flavors. The portions of the food are large so pace yourself with the bread.. (if you can) Thinking I'll take a party of 4 next time so we can enjoy trying more of the menu without getting stuffed.. Folks, I'm a guy that eats a LOT of different foods, and have eaten at literally hundreds of incredible restaurants.. It is very unusual for me to write a review of a local restaurant and I'm a true "foodie". Can tell you this place absolutely ROCKS! It's one of the most pleasant surprises I've had in quite some time.. Don't read another review, just go eat this delicious and healthy food.. The service was awesome, and the food was even better.. Would give it 10 Stars if I could.. Bravo LEYLA!! read more

Ordered via door dash and arrived super fast. Great tasting and reasonably priced. Chicken kebab was very good along with the gyro platter. Also order the potatoes and pita appetizers which were very good as well. Would definitely eat here again. read more

The shish kabob itself was quite good but served with tasteless white rice and a small portion of salad. The hummus was also bland and tasteless. When I asked the waiter what he would suggest, he shrugged....when i asked him what he would like, he said... i like everything . I will be in no hurry to be back. read more

The eggplant in meze platter was delicious. The hummus was too runny. Adana kebab was more like beef kebab, not spicy at all however it still tasted very good. Lahmacun was overpriced and felt like it could have used more meat. Overall we had good experience. read more

Beautiful restaurant, very nice staff. Love the lamb sandwich. Not that I would go to a Mediterranean restaurant for French fries, but I would go to this Mediterranean restaurant for French fries. I also had the grape leaves and they were great. Their veggies are very bold and fresh. read more

LOVE this place - the food is so fresh and delicious. Everyone I've taken here comes away loving it too. You start off with fresh baked bread and a dipping sauce made with sun dried tomatoes - would recommend coming here very hungry so you can indulge lol. It's really hard to pick a favorite dish here, but I am partial to the grilled chicken thighs. They're so tender, and seasoned perfectly. I also love their baklava and now their rice pudding, which I had for the first time last night! Service is always fantastic, you feel like part of the family. There's a lovely outdoor patio for seating as well. This is going to make me sound old, but I also love that it's a restaurant you can go to and actually talk and hear each other lol. Just enough background noise & music, but not overwhelming noise. I guess I really am turning into my mother. :) Highly recommend checking this place out - it's a welcome break from the standard pub/pasta fare. Came in today to Leyla Mediterranean because I saw it was it's 1st day open. I was not disappointed. Food is delicious. I had the lahmacun which is like a Turkish flatbread with lamb on it. It was mouth watering. Also had the appetizer plate with 4 different appetizers. Portions are huge so I have left overs for later. The prices are very reasonable considering the portion size. It's so nice nice to have Mediterranean food on the east side again.I will definetely be back. read more

I would rate this place as the #1 Mediterranean restaurant in Grater Cincy area. Always clean and inviting, the food is prepared and served professionally, and is very delicious. We have discovered this place more than 4 years ago, and felt in love with it right away. We always pick it for our special occasions, or we just stop by, and always have been pleased. Walk-ins on a Thursday evening-we were a bit arty of 6 and it had just stopped raining. They went out of their way to dry of outside table and chairs and add seat cushions. The owner(?) was so apologetic that it took a minute to prepare for us, she took amazing care of us! The food was delicious and we tried new items we hadn't had before.
