Love love love this place! I stopped in right after work and it was easy to get a table and get in and out before catching a reds game. We live in OTR and Aladdin's on Main Street is our favorite place to drop in for a meal, drinks, or dessert. The dishes are healthy with nice-sized portions. They can accommodate food allergies, vegan, gluten-free, no nuts, etc... The service is outstanding. You are greeted the minute you walk in the door. The atmosphere is relaxing, and it's easy to carry on a conversation. They are one of the few restaurants in OTR with courtyard dining. We like their pita pizzas: skinny crust loaded with toppings. Last night before seeing the band Wussy, we stopped in for some appetizers. We were simply blown away by the atmosphere, ambiance, and service. On a busy Saturday night we were immediately seated. Had our order taken within minutes. The server was friendly and super fast without rushing. We ordered some hummus and an Alladin's Chicken Pitza. The hummus was silky smooth and was served with oh-so-thin and delightfully chewy pita bread. It was delicious. The Chicken Pitza was large enough to share and glorious. It was made with a slightly spicy honey dijon dressing and a killer homemade garlic sauce topped with perfect chopped grilled chicken tenders, green peppers, and diced scallions. It was so good I almost forgot to take a picture. The price was friendly to the wallet and we were quickly full. A perfect stop before seeing an amazing concert just down the street. Yum! My husband and I are in Cincinnati to see a concert and my husband found this place online. We had a great meal here. Really delicious Mediterranean cuisine! I had Chicken Sambusek Plate and my husband had Aladdin's Favorite Combo, both were great. It comes with olives, carrots, celery, cucumbers, radish and pickles!! my favorite.. I got a chicken Shawarma, and there was nothing to complain about. It hit the spot. There was a good amount of garlic sauce inside and fair amount of chicken also but I will say that the bread was a little hard (maybe just over toasted not stale). The service was pretty good. The fact that they were open on Monday was a key point in favor of me stopping here; Cincinnati is pretty dead on Mondays. Don't sleep on the "+ Lounge", as I found the interior to be more substantial than it looked from the outside. The menu promises an interpretation of Lebanese cuisine focusing on health, with clear marking for special dietary needs. I had some pizza cravings, but I didn't see any pizza places that I really believed in, so I ended up here getting a "falafel pitza". This was an intriguing experience, with the crushed falafel providing most of the flavor, but the tomatoes, pickled peppers, and tahini providing an experience that did kind of scratch that pizza itch. My lentil soup was heavy on chard, and I'm sure it was healthy, but for me tasted too much like chard and not enough like lentils. The other mezze-type items on offer looked well worth trying, and perhaps because of the relative lack of competitors, they were fairly busy even on a Monday. read more

I've been looking for a place like this! I was in town for the Reds game and I had an early dinner here. Their menu has Mediterranean and middle eastern items and They are all reasonably priced! And my beef kafta wrap was huge. The spices used on the kafta was awesome. It filled me up but the Mediterranean Fries were also a bomb. It's fries topped with lots of feta cheese and olives. $6 is a good price for it! The service was friendly and attentive too. On my way out I saw a glass case with cakes in it. I've been here before and somehow I missed writing my review then. But here it goes for take two. For the second time, I had a great experience! I have not sat inside yet but always just enjoying their courtyard in good weather. This time when we came, their tables were all full so my friend and I sat at the bar outside. His dog was able to be with us as well and she was just hanging out while people came by to say hi to her. We had great service and everyone was very attentive. I very much enjoyed their hummus. Their hummus is definitely top notch! I had the variety plate that came with all sorts of things as well as more hummus. If I could have changed anything, I probably would have got something different because I didn't want more hummus than I needed. But everything was so flavorful and just so good. It really was a great lunch! We were even able to pay our bill online to save the waitress time because as we all know, service staff is short these days. But they were very great and I definitely made sure that they got the tip that they more than deserved. Definitely a place to return to for some good Mediterranean style food. We went here for dinner as a group of 7 on Friday night. They close at 9 pm and we go there at 8 pm. We were the only customers in the the restaurant and there were 3 employees in the dining area. It still took them around 10 mins to seat us. The waitress who was taking our order was super sweet and seemed to be the only one really working. The other 2 employees were just chit-chatting with each other. We didn't see our waitress much since she was putting together cutlery for the next day, cleaning out the things on the other side of the restaurant, doing a lot of closing activities while we would have to wait to get our servers attention. Since we got there close to the kitchen closing time, we were not informed that the kitten is about to close and if we wanted to put in any last orders. I loved the interior of the restaurant, it was well decorated. The food was also very flavorful. Spicy cauliflower and veggie plate were the best. The only reason I will be hesitant to go back is how disorganized the service staff was. It's an easy fix for the restaurant. read more

Have definitely had better Mediterranean/Lebanese food before. Hummus was not as smooth and silky as other ones we have had. Salad was good. If you like lentils you might like the mujudara plate.... However there were just too many lentils in my opinions and it was an overpowering flavor. The fried onions were nice. The service was normal. Nothing special. Ambiance was nice. I am a HUGE Aladdin's fan. I have been to countless locations countless times. However, this location is my favorite of all and it's largely due to Area Manager, Paul. He is so warm and hospitable from the moment you walk in the door. Even though he is an Area Manager, he works right alongside staff and gives customers a five star experience. Last time I visited, I was craving some healthy sweet treats, so I opted for carrot juice, a green smoothie, and mint iced tea. All were delicious and came out so quickly! Parking can be a challenge at this location since the lot is shared with other businesses, but I did snag a spot as someone was leaving. read more

Mediterranean food is one of my and my wife's favorite cuisines. When we used to live in Indiana, we had a couple favorite spots, but since moving to Cincinnati, we hadn't found a restaurant that satisfied our Mediterranean cravings. Until now. We were downtown to get some drinks and realized we needed to grab some food first. As we approached Aladdin's, we knew we had to try it. I'm not generally one who cares about restaurant style or aesthetics, but it had a very cute atmosphere that felt very homey. We started surfing the menu. My sister and my sibling-in-law had never had any authentic Mediterranean food, so we knew we had to get a sampler to try a variety of dishes. The Vegetarian Combo was exactly what we wanted, as it included hummus, baba ganoush, tabouli, stuffed grape leaves, falafel, tahini dressing, and pita bread. Three of us ordered rolled pitas; I chose the Aladdin's Kabob, my sister got the Lamb, and my sibling-in-law opted for the falafel. My wife got the cranberry walnut salad. The combo appetizer came out a short time later. I grabbed a bit of pita and tried the baba ganoush first. It was phenomenal. I've never had a baba ganoush that blew me away before, but this was absolutely the best version of the dish I've ever had. I even liked it better than the hummus, which is very unusual for me. The Falafel and tahini dressing were delicious, and the stuffed grape leaves--which I'd never had before--were fantastic. Will definitely look for those in the future. Tabouli never stands out to me as amazing, but it was okay. The only thing we were a bit disappointed with was the pita bread. It was clearly not made fresh--probably store bought--as it was cold, extremely thin, and pretty flavorless. Seeing as all the dishes to eat it with were tasty, though, it wasn't the end of the world. When our entrees arrived, my sister and I each swapped half of our rolled pitas so we could try the other. Good thing because my Aladdin's had a decent steak in it, but the lamb pita was even better, being extremely tender and juicy. The rolls were also packed with fresh vegetables that complemented the meats, especially the sourness from the pickles, and it was all topped with more of that delicious tahini dressing. Overall, we had a delicious meal for a reasonable price. We will certainly be coming back when we next are desiring some classic Mediterranean cuisine. read more

If I lived in the Cincinnati area, I would be eating here regularly. Everything we tried was delicious and fresh. I have wanted to try Mujadara (a lentil dish with fried onions) for awhile but had never seen it at a restaurant. I was finally able to order it here and it was even better than I imagined it being. We asked about a side of fries because we read about the fries on Yelp but didn't see any on the menu. They had fries and they were amazing. I took my daughter here in between doctor appointments as I read reviews and saw that they had gluten free cheesecake. She has celiac disease and I have never seen gluten free cheesecake offered at a restaurant before. This was a big score for us. First we ordered the baba gannouj for our appetizer. It probably would have been better with pita bread, but it was nice that they had a vegetable option instead. There was a good variety of vegetables to choose from. We both really enjoyed it. For our meal, my daughter got the grilled chicken tender kids meal with fresh fruit. Again, it was a good variety of fruit. The chicken tenders, which is chicken tawook on the menu for other meals, were delicious. I ordered jasmine's favorite rice with chicken mishwi, which are thighs. Again, it was delicious but it would have been better with the chicken tawook. I will remember that next time. It was also a large portion that I shared with my daughter. She loved it all so much that she literally stuffed herself. I told her she needed to save room for her cheesecake. She said it was just so delicious she couldn't help herself from eating more. After eating her cheesecake, she agreed she ate too much and told me she couldn't talk in the car as she felt car sick. lol. That's how you know it was really good. The only bad thing I can say is that when we were halfway through eating, my daughter had to use the restroom. I couldn't let her go alone so I went with her. We were only gone a few minutes but when we returned they had thrown away all of our food. I was about finished but was happy to have a lot of left overs. My daughter however was not finished and was upset. They appologized and made it right by making our orders again for us. This caused us to wait longer and made us hit traffic on the way home, however we had more leftovers than we would have so it was fine. It won't prevent me from returning. I have been visiting Aladdin's in West Chester for a few years, and I knew it was about time to hit up the OTR location, and I am so happy I did. I popped in right around 11:45am, on a Friday, and boy am I glad I did not get there a moment later, This location gets a great lunch crowd of what seemed like regulars dining in and those coming in for carry-out. They have many tables, booths, and outdoor space (too cold on the day I visited) for patrons to enjoy lunch or dinner. There is a large bar that has a great collection of local crafts, wine, and mixed drinks are available. The staff was attentive and nice, and Paul, the owner was there who came and spoke with me since he saw I was letting my camera eat first as I took photos to post here! Super friendly guy and you can tell he truly loves what he is doing. The food: I ordered falafel which came with 3 pieces and a side of tahini lemon sauce and be sure to order a side of their famous hot sauce, you'll thank me later. They were crispy, and oh so good, and when dipped between the two sauces, delectable. My main dish for lunch was the Taza salad which came with chicken, cranberries, grapes, pine nuts, more veggies, on a bed of spinach greens with a dijon mustard dressing. This salad was absolutely delicious and filling, and oh so fresh and I may have found my new go-to dish for Aladdin's. Fun fact, this was Cincinnati Salad Week's salad option for Aladdin's in 2021. This is probably one of my favorite places I have been to in a while. My wife and I were visiting Cincinnati for the weekend and stepped in here for brunch. The place was very nice and the service very friendly. We ordered a few appetizers dishes and a chicken shawarma sandwich. All the food was very delicious with the hummus being the high point. We couldn't get enough of it. My one critique would be the chicken shawarma, it was more like a grilled chicken wrap as it wasn't the traditional shredded chicken you'd find in shawarma sandwiches. I've been here three times, once solo and twice with different friends. Every time the service has been friendly, if not super attentive (asking for refills, etc.), but never pestering or outright bad. Food is typically quick, fresh, and well made. I'm a fan of the Aladdin's chain, and would say this iteration does it well. However, I have had one negative - the gyro I ordered was extremely disappointing. Rather than a sandwich with layers of shaved beef, it was more akin to a (poorly wrapped) burrito with all the meat laying in one crook. The meat tasted fine, but was thick-cut and chunky, and most of the pita was left without any toppings, sauce, or meat. otherwise? I've had plenty of good experiences. I really enjoy ordering multiple appetizers to make a meal with friends, and this place affords many tasty, affordable, options to do so. read more
