I came here for lamb chops for my birthday and it was a great time! The food was amazing! The lamb was cooked perfectly! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful! Amazing customer service! I really enjoyed my time here! I can't wait to come back soon because I really enjoyed my food! They have lots of open seating and a large variety of food options!

Grilled Fillet of Salmon - great

The service was really friendly. The ambiance is nice and tables were clean. The table ordered salmon, chicken adana and doner kebab. All were delicious! The table bread was good too. Oh and the pistachio and walnut baklava were both really good. For the price, I wouldn't really call them upscale. It was very reasonable for the size of the dishes (all under $30 per person). Nothing bad to say about it and we look forward to going back.

The hummus is amazing. You can taste the freshness. The bread it was paired with was delicious. They bake the bread there and it's served hot and crispy. I ordered the cokertme kebab. The beef was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The crispy potatoes were nice but got soggy in the sauce. We also got the Shepard casserole. This was lamb with rice. My friend enjoyed it. However I found the lamb a little overcooked. For dessert we got the baklava and rice pudding. Both were really good. The rice pudding had a nice char on it. The restaurant was nice and cocky. Comfortable seating. Our server was amazing. Went out of his way to make sure we had an enjoyable experience.

I thought this place was good. It's just a high end Mediterranean spot. I got the salmon dinner with a lamb kebab on the side but they mistakenly just gave me the meal. The service all together was great and server was attentive. The ambiance was also nice.

Very delicious place, The platter for 2 was perfect (we took some home too). There was various meat on the board and we got to try all of them and came with rice and taziki. We also had the baklava which was amazing too nice and warm. Service was great too, ambiance is very intimate

This was my first time trying Turkish cuisine. The food wash delicious- I got the chicken kebab and it was very flavorful, tender, and the leftovers even reheated nicely. They also serve pita with sun-dried tomato & some sort of olives oil while you wait for your order. The waiter was hilarious and accommodating to our party of 4. The decor was also beautiful and chairs comfortable, making it nice to have a little gathering with people you haven't seen in a while.

    Chocolate baklava, delicious

Probably my new favorite restaurant, definitely my fave Turkish spot. Hubs and I both ordered the lunch special which is 3 courses including dessert. He ordered the hummus appetizer, Doner kebab which is beef with rice and a salad. All delicious. I ordered the lamb kebab with the $17.99 3-course lunch special which is +$7 extra for the lamb. Definitely worth it. The lamb was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The bulgur pilaf was excellent and I prefer that over white rice. My appetizer was lentil soup and it was thick and tasty. Great flavor and piping hot. We both had the chocolate baklava for dessert and it was fabulous. I wasn't thrilled about the thought of chocolate mixed in baklava but it was a nice addition and not overly sweet or chocolately. Just right. Service was excellent. Will be back.

Truva Turkish Kitchen was OK, but I'm not sure we gave the food a fair shake. We arrived for lunch at Noon on a Wednesday. The place was not crowed; the seating was comfortable. The vibe was nice. The wait staff was pretty attentive. I'd reviewed the menu over and over before getting to the restaurant. There were many things I wanted to try, none of which were on the lunch menu. Not to worry, the full menu was available. That said, I was drawn to their lunch special which offers three courses of limited selections for a very reasonable price. This is where I landed. Bread and red colored dipping oil was brought to the table. The bread was dense and the dipping oil didn't provide a distinct flavor. It was okay. For my first course I opted for babaganoush. This was a dish I planned to order and I was pleased it was an option. I ate it with the bread and it was very good. Fresh, chunky and tangy... it was a great start to my lunch. My second course was the Doner Kebab. The meat was tender and was served with a thick, white 'sauce'. I use the word sauce lightly because it was more of a paste. Whatever it was, it was a nice complemented to the lamb and beef. The white rice was white rice. It seemed out of place, though I included some with each bite. I didn't add anything to the flavor of the dish. The small salad was forgettable. The third course was dessert. We all wondered what it would be. It was rice pudding with a thick skin on the top, so it didn't seem super fresh. That said, it had a fine, not too sweet flavor. I would come back and order all the things that captured my attention while reviewing the menu prior to lunch. If that happens, I'll provide an updated review.

What we couldn't finish (as usual,I forgot to take a picture on arrival.)

Delicious. My second visit here. The first time three of us had appetizers and could barely finish. This time we had the "mixed grill for two" and didn't come close to finishing. (By the way, their Gin Basil Smash is amazing.). Great service, great food. My only knock is that it's a noisy restaurant.

    Babaganoush
    Zohabe B.

This place is overhyped, unfortunately. I remember coming 4-5 years ago and really enjoying it, but since then the experience has fallen off. Our service was not awful, but subpar and the baba ghanoush was average for $11. The Lentil soup was bland as well. The Chicken cubes and Adana Kebab were decent, but nothing to write home about. While the flavor was good, it was a bit dry. The worst part of the experience was the portion size to price ratio. Each plate is about $25 and the portions look like they are trying to ration food. For such a hefty bill, you can easily get a much better Mediterranean experience elsewhere.

Lamb Sheesh Kebab and Turkish Coffee

Absolutely great food and service. Wish they had more unique Turkish items like Kokorec, Sirdan and some unique drinks except common soda products. Nonetheless food and desserts are awesome. Great servers as well.

    Chicken Adana Kebab

The inside of this restaurant is a very nice and clean vibe and great to be in. However, I was extremely disappointed in the portion size especially for the price of what I paid. I ordered the chicken Adana kebob and it came with one skewer and a very little portion of their "rice" and a quarter of a tortilla which was $30. If the dish was mind blowing I wouldn't have minded paying that price but it wasn't anything I would have any desire to come back for.

7/7/23 Long overdue post that I kept forgetting to post.... I came here with my husband as we were craving Mediterranean and were in the area. We were greeted immediately upon entry and seated. The waiter brought us water and took our order. I love when a restaurant just gives water as if to encourage people to drink more water. We ordered: appetizer sampler for two which was a generous portion and we enjoyed sampling each various appetizer option. We also ordered pan friend veal liver because we're crunchy like that and wanted to try it. It's delicious! Definitely get it! Lastly we had the Adana kebab. Everything was delicious and quickly made. Our waiter Savas was great! We also enjoyed some Turkish coffee and that made our experience even grander. This ambiance is awesome, the service is top tier and so is the food. 10/10 recommend!

Their service makes you quickly feel right at home, and that continues throughout the meal. There were five of us, so we ordered several dishes to share. The hummus was fresh, the falafel was crispy on the outside and tasty, the lamb was tender, and the lahmacun ('Turkish pizza' for those that haven't tried this) was outstanding. The Lahmacun reminded me of my visit to a Turkish restaurant in Kazakhstan many years ago -- it was that good. My adult kids also had the salmon and a chicken sauté and loved both... I almost lost a finger getting a nibble. The drinks and desserts were also spot on. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and has seating to accommodate larger groups, so bring your friends and family and share. One recommendation for the Cafe -- we wish the lighting were a bit dimmer. All the tables around us you heard the grind of the salt and pepper mills. We started with the bread they served and dip- it was good. We ordered the cheese borek ($13) it was flat- just tasted mildly of the cheese- flakey exterior. We ordered the Ribeye steak ($43) - it was presented on a cutting board and while that is aesthetic- the steak was luke warm. Ordered medium rare- it came out just past that and was very tough and chewy. The mash had no seasoning and was cold. The vegetables were cold as well. The Moussaka ($26) was ok- after a decent helping of salt on each layer. I did add a generous amount of pepper as well- that is subjective- but sadly it needed it because it just was all one note. I love moussaka, I've never had it taste just of cheese. There was so much cheese. The béchamel as listed on the menu wasn't present- just a lot of the kashkaval cheese. Truly, the kitchen knows what they're doing. Food is a solid 5/5. Now... the vibes. This is where things took a turn. When you walk in, the atmosphere just doesn't feel welcoming. The server didn't offer suggestions -- even after we mentioned it was our first visit -- which was disappointing but not a dealbreaker since we still managed to pick great dishes. Probably not, at least not until the atmosphere matches the quality of the food.
