Cafe and snacks

Buy games of all varieties! They even do repairs on old consoles! I picked up some nostalgic classics and some new dnd campaign booklets here. They also have a small cafe with snacks as well as a large tabletop space. The team was super cool and helpful when we had questions about accessories and parts. Cant wait to visit again soon!

If there was a more creative way to repurpose a bank, I have not seen it. This place is cleverly utilized for gaming of all kinds. Right into the store's front end you got a variety of figures, gachapon, and little nicknacks of all sorts of stuff. From anime to games, you name it. Dead center is all your new games behind a counter with a plethora of classic stuff in the counter cases. Around the side you got card games, and they even used the old vault for the most treasured of game finds! Upstairs is also where they host card tounaments, so sadly I wasn't able to scope it out since they were in a middle of one. Big, varied, and a must stop for game entheusiasts of all kinds. Brought out the inner gobbo joy!

Screenshot from official Pokemon website shows event scheduled for March 26. I arrived at 11:00am and was told "that was last week".

Had a terrible experience at this location, went in for a scheduled and sanctioned Pokemon pre-release only to be told "it was last week". I got the details of the event from the actual Pokemon website and even had a screenshot of the details which showed "March 26th". Moreover, I called the night before and was told that it was still scheduled. I showed the employee my screenshot to which he replied "yeah I'm not sure how that got on there, i don't know what to tell you, we don't have any more product to sell". They either don't know what they're doing when it comes to organized Pokemon events, or they simply kept the product from the pre-release in order to sell it and are lying to customers. Both scenarios are disappointing considering people are eager to get back to in-person events in a post-pandemic era. Totally wasted 2 hours out of my day and also planned my month around this event weeks in advance. Probably wont go back to this location and cant recommend it to anyone who lives further than 5 minutes away. It seems like the only way to know for sure if something special is going on is to physically walk in, which is sad. I've been playing in organized Pokemon events since 2001 and literally have never had this happen.

One of the many Fan made logo for the store

In their store they carry fan made stickers, mats, shirts, and more. They also have plenty of figurines and statues and other merchandise for sale. They have Japanese gacha toys, retro and new games, and a highly entertaining and themed building. While Federal Heights is a bit out of the way, it's definitely worth a visit for out of towners and locals alike. Also make sure to ask about their rewards card!

Who doesn't love SNES?

It's hard to find quality used video game stores anymore, but then I found Level 7. They have a huge inventory of retro games -- Nintendo, Sega, Gameboy, whatever you need. The staff is super knowledgeable on retro and current games. First time in there and I left with a Nintendo Switch. Thanks for the help, Josh.

After visiting the other location, I had to see what they had here. This location seems to have…read moremore retro and systems, but either location is worth checking out for any system you're interested in. Walking in, you hear familiar game music that plays in the background as you see gamers thrashing on arcade cabinets and talking about the latest console games. It's not just a store, it's a place for the gamer community to meet up, which is great. Game stores should have culture. They had more rarities in this store than the other store, which is saying something because both have great stock and impressive rarity. Collector's prices, but you should expect that at a game store this knowledgeable about games. They had three staff members when I was there and all were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. If you're at all interested in games, it's definitely worth checking out.

This place rips people off. They price their stuff off of ebay just so they can twist around their…read moreown high price on items.. they barley offer you jack for trade ins unless its actually valuable or rare then they scam you just to sell it for even more... their console return policy is garbage if they can't apparently replicate the flaw or problem with a used console at their store even if you show a photo or video of the purchased used console they will still beat around the bush just so they dont have to help you out. Nor do they do real cash back refunds on anything even if you buy a used system and its actually defective because they don't actually test or clean the systems they get in, they just half ass blow it out... they are scam artists in disguise fucking us over.... Like how can you tell me these people price a used xbox 360 controller for 35 bucks just a controller but then when someone brings in a whole used xbox 360 console with name brand controller and 500 gig HD to trade in they offer 33 dollars in store credit.. that people should say something what this bullshit company does not to mention they don't even actually try to refurbish anything or even at least replace thermal paste. They can literally hire some people that can do that separately from the actual business locations or even the back of their stores to ensure each used console will actually run properly or at least have a better return policy aka real cash back. But the owner won't have a refurbish group like that because he's to much of a cheap skate con man that hires unprofessional and inexperienced kids that handles games and electronics like Keith David holding a glass of warm milk it's absolutely hilarious.... Games ahoy will be exposed even more everywhere else.. to be continued

I Want More Comics & Games

I Want More Comics & Games

I'll start by saying I've been reading comics for most of my 38 years of life. Comic book shops are…read moreamong my favorite places to be. I've been to comic shops all across the country (I used to travel 2 weeks a month across the US for about 4 years for a job). It's no exaggeration to say that I Want More Comics is one of the best shops I've ever been to. When I purchase brand new books I'm a stickler when it comes to minty freshness. Most comic shops have plastic dividers/bins that are wall mounted or situated on a shelf. These are the worst as people who are looking through them can damage the books by pulling them forward. IWMC does not have this problem whatsoever. The way they display their books is how every shop should. The books are safe. The best part about IWMC isn't the fact that all the books are reasonably priced and that the selection is fantastic (those are also great if you just want a review about prices and stock)--no, the best part of this store is its staff. I am a regular at this shop for a good reason. When I first started going to the shop, I was impressed with the enthusiasm and attention to detail by everyone who works there. I was also impressed with how friendly and accommodating everyone was--they don't make you feel like you're inferior if you ask questions. So while now I feel like I get to visit friends a few times a week when I visit, my review is based on first impression and overall kindness and knowledge put together for a customer who won't know the employees like a regular would. I frequent a few other local comic stores and the staff there is friendly too but they go the extra mile at IWMC. A fantastic example is when Naomi #5 came from DC comics with a printing error--the inside of the book had creased pages. They let their customers know that they were damaged and had a plan to replace them, which they did. My girlfriend and I wondered if it was isolated to IWMC and out of curiosity, tried some other shops. We found that their copies were also damaged and the owners didn't care whatsoever with one even saying basically "oh well, it happens." So for IWMC to tell their customers the books were damaged and then go above and beyond with a replacement program is something that goes a very long way in terms of customer service. Even after going to the shop only a few times, the staff remembered my girlfriend and I by name, which is impressive considering the traffic that comes in and out of that place. IWMC is more than just a comic shop. IWMC is a community. They do fun things like live stream sales on Facebook where even on there, you get to know other customers and their tastes. My girlfriend will sometimes comment "it's too bad so and so isn't on tonight. That's totally their kind of book!" You can also buy toys, video games, statues/collectibles, magic the gathering, board games, card supplies, single cards, dice, manga, trade paperbacks. They also buy the same stuff they sell. One thing you have to keep in mind is that this is a store, not a guy off the street. You need to expect less than what it's worth as they need to sell it to make a profit. I've taken comics here in the past when they were at their previous location and decided not to take what was offered. It's that simple. There are no hard feelings on either side, that's business. I mention this because I've seen so many reviews for establishments such as this where not being offered what they were asking is a negative rating, which isn't fair. No one forces anyone to accept offers--this is a business that needs to profit. I've sold many funko pops to IWMC for less than what they're worth for store credit completely understanding how selling to a shop results in less than what I could sell John Smith off the street and I couldn't be happier with my choice! My girlfriend and I are planning to move to the other side of the city next year but we both decided that IWMC is going to be our home no matter where in Colorado we move--it's worth the weekly trip.

Pre-order is nice option but they overcharged for their comics like no other. I have not seen a…read morecomic book store charge so much for a comic that should be four dollars. They are charging upwards of 25 $50 insanely overpriced would not recommend solely based upon that, and also they close at 6:30 when a lot of people get off at five they really don't have the time to make it. They need us keep their hours extended. I showed up to pick my order and they told me that somebody had canceled my order. So I take it back the pre-order feature of this store is not even nice. Get your comics from a different place.
