Right or wrong (he was wrong), he must have missed the part in his training where they told him that "the customer is always right". If his manager hadn't stepped in to mediate the discussion, I probably would have taken my business elsewhere. It seems the employees at game-stops nationwide have a tendency to have a condescending tone that really rubs me the wrong way. I don't know why, but I've been to dozens if locations and they always seem to have at least 1-2 under enthusiastic clerks on duty. If you have the time and the gas, go to the one in Boulder- the staff is way more friendly and informative. Even better, you'll get more cash from your used gear if you head over to GameForce, which is in the parking lot across from the WillVill dorms near campus.
