We checked out several game/card shops. above all else, these guys were knowledgeable and unlike the other shops, did not talk down to us as noobs. we've been going weekly and really enjoy Magic the Gathering games on Friday nights.! read more

Great selection that could be organized a little better. The staff is friendly but not exactly willing to go out their way to chat you up, you definitely have to initiate if you have any questions. They don't seem to want to earn your business too much. When I went in I threw the associate a bone when I said "I drove all the way up here from Westminster. I was hoping to find a place with better selection that the stores in my Area and it looks like you guys have it." His response was a simple, "We try." Well not hard enough. Like most game stores it felt like I was on the outside looking in because I wasn't a regular. I browsed for half an hour and was spoken to exactly once but the regulars playing games in the back got a ton of attention. Great little game shop! They have lots of really nifty games, many of which I've never heard of. And they have some stuff that you can't find anywhere else, like Cards Against Humanity. The staff is knowledgable, so if you have a question just call and ask! I did have some troubles with the website. Hopefully they get that sorted out. Most terrible customer service ever experience! Completely unfriendly, felt like I was inconveniencing when I need help. All I was trying to do was support local businesses but absolutely not when this place they try to do mark ups and compare with online prices instead of retail. Complete rip off, will never ever go back! Get some customer service skills and do not dare triple prices and not stick to retail thinking customers don't know better! Honestly over priced and very unfriendly. All these other reviews must be friends. I've been to many gaming stores before as well as worked at one. It should be an upbeat, friendly and helpful environment. It really felt like we were a bother just walking in the door. I'm half tempted to open a gaming store just to put them out of business and give the folks here a real game store to come to with fair prices. read more

We stopped by this store on our way down from Fort Collins on the second day they were open, but we wouldn't have guessed it from how many people were there playing in a card tournament. Their product wasn't completely unpacked yet, but the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and was kind enough to walk us through what was going on and what they planned to do with the store. Between the owner and staff members, we were able to get an introduction to the kinds of games on display, including Pokémon, Magic The Gathering, Dominion, and various other card and board games that I had heard of, but hadn't tried yet. Moreover, they were happy to invite us to a few tournaments they had scheduled, and gave us a rundown of how they were going to expand the store. Their website and facebook group are particularly helpful with organization and a sense of community for players and customers. At once, Atomic Goblin Games feels brand new and like a veteran gaming store; it has table space for several games at once while not crowding the storefront, and offers product for casual board gamers, families, and hardcore tournament players alike. My only complaint was that they hadn't expanded into Warhammer 40k yet! read more

When a biz is the only game in town you grade on a curve, and these cats have zero competition. Even if they did, they'd be hard to top as their selection of table top games would give Wil Wheaton a chub and their knowledge of all things geek is formidable. Super friendly, great selection, and excellent environment for gamers to plug in and ply their craft in an incubator of awesomeness. Cannot go wrong with this place. Plus I hear they're possibly getting frickin' COMIC BOOKS! That would make them the one-stop geek shop in Longmont and I think I have to lay down and breathe for a second. read more

This store has a good selection of card and board games, as well as tabletop miniatures, but if you're looking for Monopoly or RISK you may be out of luck. Staff is very friendly and helpful. If you like MTG or Warhammer tournaments, you can find those hosted here on a regular basis. read more

The store is amazing and the owners are friendly! Its very colorful and bright with a nice open feel. They carry all the card games, Pokemon, Yugioh, Magic, World of Warcraft and Kaijudo. They also have a large selection of board games and puzzles I found most of what I was looking for and the one game they didn't have the owner ordered it for me and had it with in a few days. I will definitely be back. read more
