This store claims to offer hassle-free returns on unopened items, but they didn't honor that promise. I drove from Denver to buy a few board game miniatures. When I got home, I opened one box and realized the miniatures were unpainted--surprising, given the price was higher than most places selling the same item. At this price point, I thought these were the painted versions. I reached out about a return and was told the owner, Charlie, would handle it later that day if I came in after 2pm. I drove back (all the way from Southern Denver), but he never showed up. The staff was rude and only offered 50% back, even though the box and item were in pristine condition. The only thing I did was gently remove and reattach a small adhesive seal--no damage whatsoever. It looks the exact same as it did when I purchased the item the day before. Advice to the owner: If the product and packaging are in the same condition as when sold--especially within 24 hours--a full refund should be standard. This is the policy you advertise above the cash register and you didn't honor it. Bad experience. Shop elsewhere.

Staff very helpful and informative and willing to engage in conversation unlike most of the stores I found north of them (I only checked out stores in Longmont/Loveland/Greeley/Ft. Collins). The atmosphere was such a warmer feeling and didn't have that stuck in the 90s live in my parents basement feel of a comic store (best way I can think of) than a few of the other stores I visited in Loveland and Greeley. Loved the drawer system utilized for the back issues which also aides in the clean look of the store. I was only interested in the comic half of the store, but they do have a lot of gaming offerings. Definitely gonna make it a point to come back when I make my way back to CO again.
