Good pork banh mi, meat was tender and flavorful with crunchy pickled radish and carrots, pate and butter mayo compliment the flavors well. The portion is decent size but kinda pricey compared to other banh mi in the area. Friendly staff and quick service

I live down the street from here and am so excited to have found such a great little Vietnamese bakery/ restaurant near me. They have Vietnamese iced coffee which is super good!! And I tried the ham and pork bahn mi which did not disappoint. My friend had a pork plate with rice which he seems to enjoy. They have a variety of pastries and they also have pho. All of it looks really good. Will definitely be coming back here for my iced coffee fix.

Lots of different bakery goods, as well as sandwiches, rice dishes, noodle dishes, pho, etc. Lots of drinks options as well. A bit on the expensive side, but the pie and tea was delicious l. Great cafe/coffee shop vibes!

I never get pho here because it didn't impress me when we did... very little meat, no basil/hoisin/chili oil to add when they brought it out. But I did get some spring rolls and a pork meat pie today just because we came in to use the ATM and I didn't want to do so without buying something. The meat pie was good, but not a lot of food for $5. The spring rolls (one large one cut in half) had only 2 shrimps on each half and were super spaced out, leaving me wondering why they were $7... this just solidified why I never come here, despite living upstairs.

4.5 Star Picked up take out from here during COVID. Ordered the Shrimp Spring Rolls ($4.95), Tofu Banh Mih ($6.95), Chicken Banh Mih ($6.95), Chicken Pate Chau, and a box or assorted pastries (usually $2.50 each but we got a box of 4 day olds for $5). The Sandwiches are a really good size and whatever they use for their marinade is delicious! UPDATE: I tried the chicken-less sandwich ($7.95) today and it was AMAZING!!! It's so rare to find spots like these with such great meatless options. A tad pricey compared to other Vietnamese spots but very much worth it given it's Sleek, Clean, Modern Interior. Food was made quickly. The owners are extremely friendly :)

Came here to try their pho as a cure to my headache, and I have to say it's pretty solid! There are probably other restaurants in the area that specialize more in their pho but one thing I like about Le's is the nice peaceful vibe they have. The restaurant space is pretty big so if you're looking for dine-in you can easily find yourself a quiet secluded corner to enjoy your meal. It gave me quiet cafe/coffee shop vibes. I had a pretty nasty headache so I knew I wouldn't be able to stand the loudness at some of the other pho restaurants in the area. The pho broth here was solid. Anytime I don't need to add hoisin sauce means the broth had enough flavor, which it did. It was $13.50 for a decent sized bowl which isn't exactly cheap but definitely filling. It's also a deli/bakery first so you'll pick up your food when it's ready rather than having a dedicated server. Overall, great spot for Vietnamese food in the South Seattle area with awesome vibes.

Piroshky Piroshky is a Seattle institution. Will the line be long during peak times in peak season?…read moreYes. Will they still get you through blazing fast? Absolutely! Pro tip to tourists: they have the menu posted on the windows AND the door, complete with pictures. You'll help the line situation if you get a general idea of what you want BEFORE you step up to the counter. As for what to get? A little bit of everything. I typically get a cheddar garlic roll, smoked salmon pate, Uli's sausage, bacon egg & cheese, cinnamon cardamom, and the rhubarb if they have it. Bring the family, grab a bunch of them and then walk over to Victor Steinbrueck park to share them all and take in the view of Elliott Bay. The bakery itself has a classic, old-school feel with an impressive array of bakes on display. Two practical things stand out right away. First, there is no indoor seating, though luckily the surrounding market area offers plenty of places to sit. Second, the place gets incredibly busy, so waiting in a line just to get inside is pretty much guaranteed. The order consisted of two items: the savory potato piroshki and the sweet chocolate hazelnut piroshki. The prices were reasonable and not overly expensive. As for the taste, the bakes were decent, but the dough felt a little too dense overall. The bread itself carries very little flavor on its own, leaving all the heavy lifting to the fillings. Given the massive crowds and the constant hype, the actual flavor profile felt fairly average rather than extraordinary. That said, the overall experience is still pretty fun. A large glass window lets customers watch the bakers actively shaping and preparing dough, which is fascinating to observe. With the sheer volume of staff working non-stop and the constant line of people, the bakes are undoubtedly fresh. It is worth a visit for the atmosphere and the process, even if the food itself falls a bit closer to ordinary.

The croissant was on the crispier side, especially with the almond crumble on top it was a bit too cripsy for me, but I tend to like soft and flakey pastries so it's probably a matter of taste. There was a TON of almond filling in the middle. I enjoyed the taste and texture but it was too much filling for me personally. I would have liked more croissant in my croissant, so to say haha. The chocolate was slightly dark which worked well with the sweet pastry and filling! Overall I enjoyed the croissant but it was a tad too heavy on the filling and cripsy/crunchy for me.

They have so many yummy options, but I settled on a mushroom and Gruyère pastry and an earl grey blueberry cruffin. The mushroom and Gruyère pastry was SO good!!! Buttery flaky layers of dough with a strong earthy mushroom flavor and savory cheese - an absolute umami bomb. We ate it the day after and threw it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes, and it was so delicious. The cruffin was huge! Topped with a delicious light Earl grey cream that wasn't too sweet. It was filled with a blueberry cream and was definitely very filling. There's a lot of sugar coating it, as is standard with cruffins, but it's a nice sweet treat.
