The server was very nice, and the food was delivered in a timely manner. The seating space was on the smaller side. Drunken noodle with beef: a bit too saucy for my liking, but the flavor was nice and light. The beef was sautéed well, and the vegetables were cooked just right. Crispy Chicken: the chicken had a nice crisp crunch to it, but the flavor was subtle. It came with a warm wintermelon soup that was delicious. read more

New Thai street food spot near UCF! The staff were friendly and attentive, and the menu has a great variety. I ordered the thai tea, curry puffs, and moo ping grilled pork skewers with sticky rice. The curry puffs were generously sized and came with a cucumber sauce that was delicious. The skewers were juicy and full of flavor. The thai tea was refreshing and not overly sweet. Would definitely recommend, and I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more. read more

We wanted to order takeout however the restaurant was busy and no one answered so we end up going there, which end up being a great thing. We tried takeout and it was absolutely delicious, flavorful, and made right! We got tofu drunken noodles and tofu pad Thai, sooo yummy! Normally takeout Thai doesn't have much flavor but this place got it right. They recommended mild (we usually get medium everywhere else) and it was Perfect, with lots of flavor and still a good amount of spice. The portions were also good, and fair pricing. So excited that they opened near UCF, Can't wait to try more dishes! read more

Lert Thai just opened yesterday, and it's already a total knockout! We stopped by last night after work and the vibe was perfect--the decor is gorgeous and the music really sets a great mood while you wait. ​We started with the Chicken Satay (so tender!) and took the Tom Yum Seafood Noodle Soup and BBQ/Crispy Pork Egg Noodles to go. Both were incredible--those egg noodles with the fresh seafood are a must-try, and the crispy pork had the perfect crunch! ​We loved it so much that we are literally back again today to try the Tom Kha, Lert Fried Rice, and Chicken Ginger Rice. This place was amazing, Thai classics done correctly, me and my girlfriend have been talking about getting Thai food for a long time and today we finally got around to it, I am a home cook and have worked in various restaurants so I have pretty set expectations when it comes to places to eat, I did some researching on the map and can usually judge pretty well by photos, there was only a couple pictures of the food so I was some what convinced based off looks but we were initially skeptical due to the place being so new and only having so many reviews but it was only 5 minutes away from where we were (ucf) they have the menu on the window so if you want to know your selection without walking in and out awkwardly they have that solved which was our deciding factor, we walked in and we were greeted very kindly by the man up front who I believe was the owner, we were unaware that the upfront counter was mainly for to go orders but the man happily took our orders right away and welcomed us to any tables we liked, before ordering I had initially been thinking drunken noodles but me being the stoner I am did not take the time to read the menu thoroughly enough to notice it so I ordered 2 pad Thais for my girlfriend and I with an order of the chicken sate and I asked if he could give me a side of Thai basil to go with it because I love Thai basil and the man instantaneously recommended me the drunken noodles that I had been too stoned to notice as if he read my mind before I even walked in, something I love is when restaurant workers give me honest and thoughtful recommendations instead of just taking down my order which in this case worked out perfectly, to drink we ordered one Thai tea to share, we sat down in the back and the man quickly came over and gave our already clean table a wipe down which I appreciated as a chef and former restaurant worker just because I know how important it is to be tentative to the space in which you are consuming food, we waited no more then 5 minutes and he came with waters and our Thai tea, now initially I ordered one Thai tea because I do not have a big sweet tooth and more often then not Thai tea is made way too sweet for me to have one to myself I was pleasantly surprised on the first sip, the tea was perfect, just the right amount of sweetness, absolutely no notes on that, no more then 10 minutes after that he came with our food, I would also like to emphasize that not only was this man a mind reader he was extremely well mannered and courteous making sure to serve my lady first and give her everything she needed in a very professional genuine manner, our food was fresh off the stove nice and hot just how you'd expect, the first bite exceeded my expectation, the drunken noodles were classic in every way, the sauce was perfectly balanced and not over baring which is a very common mistake in these kinds of dishes, nothing worse then having everything drowned in sauce and having your whole dish over whelmed, the veggies which I believe were shallots, red and green belle peppers, garlic,and of course Thai basil were greatly proportioned, got one little bit of each thing and every bite, same goes for the chicken, I ordered medium spice and they hit the nail on the head, perfect amount of spice for me, little tingle on the tongue and a little run from the nose but not enough to make you sweat is my ideal spice when it comes to Thai, my girlfriends pad Thai also met every expectation, the sauce again was perfectly balanced and gave you everything you wanted in every bite, I had the issue of over whelming sauce on pad Thai the previous week and was very delighted to see somebody doing it right, the chicken sate was also classic in the most incredible way seasoned to perfection and grilled with the perfect char to give it that classic street food feel in a restaurant atmosphere both the peanut sauce and cucumber onion dressing paired amazingly, the chicken itself didn't even need a sauce so it made it that much better, we spoke with the owner after all was said and done he informed us that the chef (obviously) knows real deal Thai and imports certain key ingredients from Thailand to give it the real deal feel and assured us that they were putting authenticity on a plate, I believe a lot of restaurants today overlook these very minute details that play such a big role in the whole experience, so if you are near ucf and are looking for real deal Thai classics then GO HERE!!! read more
