Approximately seven months ago, I went in for an eye exam and purchased a pair of glasses, including frames, lenses, and a protection plan, totaling around $700. Within two weeks of receiving them, I returned because my vision was not clear the lenses were blurry and uncomfortable. At that time, I was told the glasses only needed adjustment and to give it some time. Over the following months, I returned multiple times with the same concern, explaining that my vision was still not correct. Each time, I was told to "get used to" the progressive lenses, or that changes in vision with age might be the cause. Despite my repeated visits and concerns, the issue was never properly resolved. Recently, I sought a second opinion from my previous eye doctor, who confirmed that the prescription in the glasses I purchased from there is incorrect. Since returning to my old glasses, my symptoms dizziness, headaches, and nausea have completely resolved. Additionally, the lenses I purchased are now scratched, and despite having a protection plan, I have been told that this will not be honored. I find this unacceptable. When I recently spoke with management, I was told that too much time had passed for any resolution, despite the fact that I had been consistently returning to the office over several months attempting to correct the issue. I was offered the option to pay for another exam and receive only a 50% discount on new lenses. I do not feel this is fair, as the original issue stems from an incorrect prescription that was never properly addressed. Furthermore, I was disappointed by the tone and manner in which I was treated during this conversation. I felt dismissed and disrespected. I was also informed that my past records, including a prescription from 2018, were accessed without my knowledge or consent, which raises additional concerns for me. To be clear, I did not requesting a refund. I simply asking that the lenses be remade correctly and that the protection plan I purchased be honored. I also requested the contact information for a district manager or someone above the current manager. I was told there is no one I can contact directly, and that if I submit a customer care ticket online, it would simply be routed back to him and result in the same response. I purchased my glasses in December, and within 30 days I had to bring them back due to a crack in one of the lenses. After the lenses were replaced, another crack appeared in the exact same spot. When I returned to the store and expressed my frustration, the manager said he would replace the lenses free of charge, but he acted as though he was doing me a favor. The repeated inconvenience of having to come back multiple times for the same issue has been significant, yet the manager showed little concern. He told me he "can't help with my life problems," as if the inconvenience were my fault rather than the result of faulty lenses. He also mentioned that this issue only happens to about 1% of the thousands of glasses sold, implying that the problem was mine--not LensCrafters'. At no point was there an attempt to offer a partial refund, acknowledge the hassle this has caused, or take responsibility for the repeated manufacturing issue. Considering the circumstances, I expected better customer service and a genuine effort to make the situation right. My wife and kids will not become customers nor will I ever buy another pair from them again. Too many competitors that will welcome our business. read more

Extremely upsetting experience at this LensCrafters location. The manager, Justin, was unprofessional and dismissive when I tried to resolve an issue with my glasses. The product did not match what I was shown at the time of purchase, and my request for a refund within the allowed timeframe of less than 30 days was refused without any real effort to resolve the situation. During the interaction, I felt repeatedly harassed by Justin. I remained calm the entire time. The situation left me extremely stressed and upset, raised my blood pressure, caused headache that required medical care. I felt disrespected and not treated fairly as a customer. I have not received the product or my money back. I will be taking legal action if the refund is not issued in a timely manner. read more

Justin was very unprofessional and seemed unqualified for the role. We wasted a significant amount of time and still did not receive our refund. He pressured us to accept a product we did not agree to, which was very frustrating and unacceptable. We left without a resolution. read more

Beware if you make an appointment it doesn't matter to them!!!! I made an appointment a year in advance showed up on time and waited an hour past the scheduled time and still wasn't seen by the doctor. I was given an excuse by the manager that the person before me needed special attention. When in fact that person came in while I was in the waiting area and they took them in despite it being my scheduled appointment time. I was so frustrated after waiting an hour I left and will never go back to Lenscrafters again!! read more

Looks like it must be LensCrafters. Were coming up on another year and my wife's $200 glasses are still scratch free. We spent 20+ years spending 500-700 on glasses that were overpriced and poor quality. Thank you LensCrafters for pushing us to explore our options. read more

I can't even begin to say how disappointed I am. I ordered contacts on 7/30 and now it's 8/16 and they're not here. It's supposed to take 7-10 business days. When the guy ordered them he seemed confused as to where they would be shipped to, either my house or the store but he said "I guess we'll see". So once it was clear last week I wasn't receiving them, I called and was working with manager. She told me last Wednesday/Thursday that she was going to try to over night them to the store. So on Friday I called and she said it would be Monday or Tuesday the latest. I called Tuesday and she said now it was going to be Wednesday/Thursday but they had ordered me a ton of trial pairs. She was really nice and said she had been checking on my file every day so I felt better over the situation. She told me the trials and actual contacts would come together. I get a call today my contacts are here. At first, the girl tried telling me I couldn't pick them up until Friday when the doctor was in, so I had to argue with that but she ended up saying I could come whenever. So I drive over an hour after work to go get them. The sales associate handed me boxes that looked strange and I even asked if it was right and he assured me it was. So I should have looked more closely but I was in a hurry to get home so I took his word. I get home and it's 8 trial pairs all for my left eye. So my real order STILL hasn't come and I have 8 contacts for my left eye and none for my right. The ball was dropped on this. The manager should have double checked the right trials were ordered and all around I was not communicated to about this. So now I have to re call tomorrow and wait whoever knows how long for my contacts. At this point I want my money back and to take my prescription somewhere else. I will NEVER be back and I've been coming here for easily over 10 years. read more

I was seen at the LensCrafters at the Spring Hill mall recently and I just went to an eye doctor because I've been having vision trouble and my prescription from LensCrafters was completely wrong. I paid to have glasses made with that prescription and I cannot wear them. I also had my contact prescription done at LensCrafters and it was wrong as well. I waited almost a month for trials in my "special prescription" that feel like rocks in my eyes and was told that's as close as they could get. The new eye doctor I went to was not LensCrafters and she was able to find clear contacts in my actual prescription in stock same day. She also had me try on the metal glasses with my prescription and there is a huge difference between what I was given and what I should have been given. She explained that one of my eyes is literally the exact opposite of what it should be. I do not recommend this LensCrafters to anyone. read more

Stopped in to get a couple pairs of badly needed prescription safety glasses. My prescription expired exactly 8 days ago. So getting new glasses is impossible without an eye exam. Too late in the day for that. My availability for this is no less than 2 weeks away, probably more. I work long hours on 2 jobs. I assure you, my eyes are the same today as they were last week. This store has been going downhill, judging from the reviews in 2017. And my review for 2018 will chime in with the others who had negative experiences. No complaint with the doctors of optometry here. I've been able to see the same professional for 2-3 yrs at this location and am very happy these people are staying on rather than moving on. But the general ambience of the store and the attitudes of service personnel on the floor is not parallel with the professionalism of the eye doctors. I've been in store twice this past month, both times on a sunday afternoon. Maybe that is high-traffic in the mall time. In General, the foot traffic in the Lenscrafters store is chaotic with people milling about. It's a feeling like you'd get in an airport: nobody is calm and collected. All are ready to rush through the transaction with you, to get on to the next whatever task they have. This was not always true. Three years ago, there was a solid staff of floor personnel who were welcoming, calm, and projected a presence of great customer service. They made eye contact as soon as you walk in the store and met you with your service need. Not anymore. The woman at the front desk seems to have a firm handle on her job and is efficient and knowledgeable. Yet those around her are flustered and very rushed. They were not very friendly to deal with when ordering a pair of lenses. I had many issues with the place from the appointment that was rescheduled by phone for the following week instead of the day I arrived to keep it. Then to find out they No Longer Make Lenses at the store, was a major shock. Having to wait 10-14 business days for my new lenses is enough to change my direction and seek out other optical stores who can deliver faster. read more

I have so many issues with this store. I purchased a pair of sunglasses last year and when I got the call to pick them up, the lenses were cut wrong and placed in the frame with a huge gap between the lens and the frame. The sales associate tried to play of off like it was no big deal, but it was crappy work and I wasn't going to pay for that until they fixed it...which they did but it took another week. Swore I would never go back. Two weeks ago, they called with an automatic message giving me an appointment for an eye exam that I never requested nor wanted. Fearing a charge for canceling an appointment I never made, I immediately called back to tell them I did not want nor make any appointment with them. I got put on hold for a half hour. I'm pretty sure the guy on the phone completely forgot I was on hold. I told him the situation, he apologized and told me he'd cancel the appointment, citing that they automatically sign people up a year later at whatever date and time they randomly choose, however inconvenient it might be for the client. Today, i got a call from them asking to confirm my appointment. You know, the one that I never made, never wanted, would have been during my work day, and got put on hold for a half hour to cancel. Yeah, that one. Glad to know I waited on hold for a half hour for the guy on the other end to not have canceled the appointment. That was time well spent. Thanks for that. Sorry not sorry for blowing up at the person who called to confirm my appointment just now but know that I will never go back here. Very poor service all around - from product to customer service. I went to Lens Crafters in Springhill Mall this year, and it will my last time. The customer service is mediocre. The doctor was nice and very pleasant. The service people assisting must've been new because I had to go in months later to settle an issue. Really?! An eye issue! They forgot to bill me for the contact lens examine. Staff is rude and unaccommodating. I was trying to get PD info and they would not provide sighting HIPPA which as I pointed out does not apply to the patient. Then I was told it was company policy. I asked to speak to the doctor who I was told was busy and would call me back. 4 hours later I called back because no one called. Doctor said they would give me the info and then back tracked after I'd been left on hold for 10 minutes. In the past 6 months I have spent almost $1000 there, and will never go again. read more

Service is friendly, honest, and if they were a little more inexpensive would get 5 stars. I needed to replace a broken pair of glasses in a pinch and Tom and team were great. The store wasn't busy and it took just over an hour and In had my glasses done. I ended up picking the top-of-the-line frames & lens options so it was expensive but since I wear glasses every day it's one of those things I choose to go whole-hog on. My vision is critical.
