He takes time to explain conditions and answer questions. He knows eyes and how to best care for them, and he stays abreast of the most current research and treatments available. Bonnie in Optical is also amazing. She does such a great job fitting me with just the right glasses. I'm pretty persnickety about my eyewear, yet she is so kind and patient. There was a black-haired man in Optical also--I don't know if he's still there. The last time I was there, I'd asked him a question about the way my glasses rested on my face. At first, he dismissed me. When I pressed for an answer, he became agitated, scowling and loudly telling me he didn't "understand." I tried to calmly explain again as he stood there, arms crossed with the scowl on his face until a kind, blonde woman intervened. She was able to understand and answer my question in literally less than a minute, thank God. I haven't been bullied like that in years. Zero stars for him!

I have been having eye issues and I can't thank the Johnson Eye Care team for being so patient and focused on helping me. I have been wearing glasses since I have been a kid and was extremely impressed with how sophisticated all of the equipment their equipment was. It's extremely professional and was able to get to the root of the issues with my issue while Dr Schoepke did a deep look into what I have going on. Being that I am a very technical person ... I was geeking out with all the gear the have ( can you tell ). Oh btw no Air blowing in your eyes here to check your pressure... on top of it Dr Schoepke said those tests are no very reliable. Here's the deal... a year ago I was told from sketchy Dr in the western suburbs that I have a rare eye issue and I would have to go to Canada to stop for going blind in the future. I was relieved that this is not true and the issue I have just needs to be monitored. I have had a weight on my shoulders since that last visit.... I can believe I waited this long. To top it off the they have a great selection of glasses and Mary was extremely helpful picking out the right frames for me. Big thank you to the Johnson Eye care Team.
