Friendly staff! Everyone was on time with my appointment. Yes I needed a mask... but that is expected with any medical type of place right now. Great staff and facilities. There's a nice selection of frames, too. My appointment was over the summer, but I'm just getting to my review. Knocking a star off due to their ridiculous Covid protocol, keeping the front door locked (literally opening it just far enough to stick the clipboard out of the door) and not allowing patients in before their appointment - even when required to show early for paperwork. I was the only patient at the time, and again it was during a time where the numbers were not increasing. I understand the desire to stay safe, but it was extreme given the circumstances. ER's have less restrictions. read more

We have been patients of Dr. Morfoot for a few years now. I feel the need to put out a review after our visit today. My 7 year old had a bit of a panic attack with one of the very simple parts of the exams. I tried to stay patient, but it was so very hard as these are nothing but preventative tests. Dr. Joe stepped up as an amazing doctor and was so very patient with her. He went above and beyond to help her, to say im thankful he's our doctor is an understatement. Thank you again, Dr. Joe! Dr. Timothy M. Beyer is very friendly and professional. I had the appointment on 8th of Feb; for retinopathy and prescription glass. One of the staff told me that she would mail me the prescription and the report. But after two weeks (Feb. 21st) I had to call them and remind them about my prescription and the report. The lady who took the phone was apologetic nevertheless, why I was not given the prescription? I was ready to wait for 30 minutes or longer. It was too late for me to get a prescription glass before my trip. Hopefully she could do better next time. Thanks Doc. read more

The best, best, best place to go for an eye exam and glasses/contacts. Dr. Beyer is THE BEST. I made appointments for the entire family. The girls one day and the boys the next day. Dr. Beyer was patient and kind and just plain wonderful. His staff is equally as wonderful. We had been going to Wal-Mart EyeCare for several years but decided to make a change when we heard some bad reviews from friends. My youngest daughter has terrible migraines. We have been on a 2 year quest to find out what is causing them. Her neurologist suggested having her eyes checked, thinking that might be causing them. I informed Dr. Beyer about my daughters migraines and he really took his time to ask me questions about them and about her and we went over her medical history and he was just awesome. Unfortunately, her migraines are not caused by her needing glasses. She is the only person in a family of 6 who doesn't need them. I cannot imagine going anywhere else in the future. The entire staff is outstanding! I felt as if I were given my eye exam in their home rather than their office. Both Dr. Morfoot and Dr. Beyer are completely professional and their "bedside manner" is second to none. This was my very first eye exam ever and Dr. Morfoot made sure to explain everything thoroughly without being condescending. LeAnn, the receptionist, was very personable and prompt as well. Dr. Beyer saw both my husband and son and they received the same level of excellence at their appointments, too. After my exam was complete, the young lady who helped me pick out my new frames made sure to show me what I wanted to see and was very knowledgable about all the different frames they offered. She helped me make an excellent choice without being pushy. I can't wait to go back to pick them up! I would, without a doubt, recommend them to anyone who needs an eye doctor. I was referred here by a friend when I had an eye injury. Had visits with both doctors who were extremely thorough and friendly. and ON TIME! I used to go to a corporate chain on 14 in Crystal Lake, was impressed by the difference in care and technology at Precision. Best part is the front desk people. So friendly, helped figure out my complicated insurance, and didn't act pushy trying to oversell me glasses. Only negative: construction traffic from Rt31 bypass nearby when I was there. I had not been to the eye doctor in over 20 years, but Precision and Dr. Morfoot made my experience one I will look forward to annually for checkups going forward. First of all, the appointment only took about an hour which was great timing for a pre-work appointment at 8am. Second, Dr. Morfoot explained in detail what would be best for my eyes and tailored a perfect pair of everyday lenses to use while working/driving all within the hour. Third, the frame and lens showroom had great prices on designer frames that I was happy to go home with. One week later - I received a HANDWRITTEN letter, thanking me for being his customer. My 2 year old son and I visited Precision Eye Care for our annual eye exams. I was EXTREMELY nervous about how my son would do at his first eye exam especially since the appointment was scheduled close to naptime. Dr. Morfoot was so professional and patient with my son. Come for the fancy frames, stay for the laughs. I really enjoyed my time at Precision Eye Care. They are all so friendly. When I got my eyes dilated Dr. Beyer had to practically pry my eyes open because I just can't do the whole put things in my eye bit. We laughed about it and he didn't make me feel bad for being a wimp. While I waited for my eyes to dilate David helped me pick out my frames and we had a fun conversation with Lanaya who was sitting and the desk. I felt so at home. Just the nicest people you could hope to meet. He helped me find the perfect pair and I also got sunglasses for half off. Then I got the final check from the doctor. After that they priced it all out I payed and I was on my way. I have never had a more pleasant doctors visit. Six days later my glasses were in and they are perfect. read more

I initially went here because they carry Oakley prescription glasses. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. I tried a different larger box Optometrist in Algonquin who also sold Oakley but they had a smaller selection and their front desk staff was uninterested and rude. So I want to stress the friendly family atmosphere was worth a little further drive. Also very important that you don't see much of is that they warranty the frame and lenses from breaking or scratches for 1 year (no extra charge). I scratched/dented my prior pair of glasses and they replaced the lenses for free! So this really makes it worth the drive. After getting your pair of glasses David went the extra mile and spent over an hour making sure I was happy with the way the glasses felt and sat on my face. David also went the extra mile today while ordering new Oakley's with checking on getting a custom order. I don't usually write reviews but felt compelled since the service at the other store was so awful I had to take my prescription from there back to Precision Eye Care. read more

I have been to several eye doctors as I have had my eyeglasses at the age of 13. Dr. Morfoot is very nice and accommodating. He did an exceptional eye check up and extensive diagnostic eye tests.
