Dr Liesl Kaye returned my call within 15 minutes and asked all the right questions. She then advised Dr Preston Kaye would be in the office that afternoon if I chose to visit or first thing Tuesday morning. I, of course, took the opportunity to visit asap that afternoon (Memorial Day). Dr Preston Kaye examined my eyes and prescribed medication along with advice on care for my eyes. He advised someone would call me in the morning for a follow up appointment within 10 days to confirm eyes are improving. I received a call Tuesday morning at 9am. Kaye Eye Care is great. He said it would not be accurate. Today they called me and said I could not keep my yearly exam appt because I did not go to CL for that test. I explained that my retina specialist advised me not to have that test. So because I did not follow Dr Guzman's orders they will not have me as a patient. I have never experienced anything like this in the 70 plus years I have seen an ophthalmologist.

I can see fine; I just needed an updated prescription. Clearly he was looking to make money and not recommend the best thing for me - his patient. We Went through all of the steps and the prescription he gave me isn't correct. I don't know if he wrote it down wrong or what but the script is wrong. I have been to this practice for several years and all of the providers I saw previously were outstanding. I think it says a lot about the practice that all of those other ophthalmologists have left and only newly graduated, inexperienced ones are there now. I am not going back.

There was a black-haired man in Optical also--I don't know if he's still there. The last time I was there, I'd asked him a question about the way my glasses rested on my face. At first, he dismissed me. When I pressed for an answer, he became agitated, scowling and loudly telling me he didn't "understand." I tried to calmly explain again as he stood there, arms crossed with the scowl on his face until a kind, blonde woman intervened. What impressed me the most was the thoroughness of all the different eye examinations that Dr. David Rocks preformed. I had a cataract surgery in my right eye a year and a half ago, concerned about glaucoma, my night driving/glare and all the other eye issues as I grow older. So, services were very important to me. Dr. David Rocks thoroughly explained all the different eye examinations/ procedure's he was doing in detail.
