They have the newest, state of the art, machines to test your eyes. Dr. Nguyen is very nice and is very thorough in explaining the issues I have with my eyes. She's helped me figure out my prescription that works best for me, especially as I age. I used to have to wear readers, but she adjusted my contact lenses and recommended multi-focal contact lenses that has helped me tremendously. Highly recommend coming here. Let me start by saying I read my insurance policy on my insurance website and then booked the appointment through my insurance provider saying this location was covered in my insurance network. I knew before arriving my insurance plan covered contacts and glasses. When I asked the front desk staff she looked at me and said "most people only get glasses or contacts so just pick out glasses as the best bang for your buck." Cool, so I pick out my glasses. As I'm doing so she pulls up my plan and tells me I have coverage for neither contacts or glasses. I try to explain to her that I work for a multi billion dollar pharmaceutical company and I'm definitely covered. I proceed to take out my company phone and look up my coverage again; where it tells me I'm covered. I look at my paycheck where I've been paying for eye insurance all year. I'm throughly confused. The two other front desk staff proceed to sing and mess around while I try to talk to the other women that thinks I came here with no insurance. The receptionist is the only person helping by calling my insurance company. After getting everything cleared up and experiencing what was the most unprofessional experience in a doctors office. I did not like the doctor as he was not listening to me at all and said that's your prescription and it will be fine and rushed us out. He seemed like a know it all and pampas. I came to pick up my glasses and could not focus with either pair I ordered. The staff tried to clean the lenses and adjusting the nose piece but still was not helping. They told me to go home and try it for a week and they would call me to check up on me, but if they had to remake them they would not help me as it would still be the same prescriptions. NEVER got a follow up call. I feel like they did not listen to me at all during the exam and after. I trusted them and now I feel that I was swindled and the glasses are unusable garbage. I had to go back twice for glasses, and finally gave up due to his incompetence. When I called to make the first appointment, I explained that I had double vision that required a prism lens in addition to my regular prescription. I was told that the doctor was proficient with this type of vision issue. He was not! When I picked up the first pair, he didn't even check my vision with the new glasses. The next morning, I called and explained that these glasses were worse than my old ones. Their answer was to keep them for a week because it takes time to get used to the new prescription. This has never been my experience with new glasses. The next pair I received (after another eye exam) was worse than the first. I asked for a refund which I did receive. The doctor did not even talk to me or apologize to me for his inflated opinion of his ability. I asked for a refund. I am now going to another doctor who performed many different exams and procedures and, while it took quite a while, I couldn't be happier with the results. If I could have rated his a 0, I would have.
