Dr. Daniels did a left total knee replacement with Mako 2 and a half weeks ago. I cannot brag enough about how amazing of a surgeon he is and his PA Miss Nicole is equally as amazing. I went to the Orthoillinois Clinic in Algonquin with my daughter, who had injured her foot during gymnastics. We were seen by Dr. Raju. The service was terrible. He looked at the x-ray and told us we would have to see another doctor, as he wasn't sure what to do. That same day, I gave him a terrible feedback by email. And to my surprise, a month later, the bill arrived for two appointments on the same day: one with Dr. Raju and another with the doctor who saw us later. Her case was simple, just a boot, but Dr. Raju wasn't sure what to do. Terrible experience! read more

This practice is to organized using Smokestack Organization philosophy. Each division works well together but fails miserably communicating between departments. There is no way to talk with your physicians service. You call into a central automated operator, weave through options, get a CSR, and they leave a text. The CSRs can't even call internally! One department can submit electronic prescriptions and others cannot. When you get upset and ask if you have to get a physical prescription, instead of fixing the problem, they fire you. Discontinue providing service because they are too sensitive to hear a complaint. There is no way to file a complaint with them. If become patients to much of a bother to communicate, they don't deserve customers. read more

Dr stanley was recommended to me for a second opinion on my back. I called and was told that in order to see the dr. I would first have to have an MRI. I agreed and had to wait three weeks for an appointment. I checked in for the MRI and met with his PA. Who said we would do an xray. I agreed and the xray showed what I already knew from a previous dr. I had curvature of the spine and arthritis in my lower back. He then left and a nurse walked in and said they were finished and I could go home. I asked about the MRI and she told me no. I was surprised and shocked. There was no further contact with the Dr or PA. Just going to do physical therapy which I have done previously. Needless to say I was very disappointed!! Also they were going to call me to schedule pt.but I had to call twice myself to get it scheduled. Terrible communication read more

I find it very hard to understand the complaints. My wife has bad knees and really been bothering her while doing our cross country tour. We walked in without an appointment, saw the doctor, took X-rays, foot her brace, prescriptions called in and a mri set up and was out in an hour. Visited Wednesday for a potential ruptured ACL/PCL that my daughter had. They did not submit the order for an MRI until Friday and My insurer - who I am hitting up next, still claims they have not recieved any order - despite it being sent again this morning. These people have had ample time to call the insurer and expedite the order - there are departments that handle that specifically. I've lost 8 hours of work dealing with this over 3 days and at this point my kid is on crutches - can't walk on it and we still have no order. read more

I don't understand the negative reviews. I'm not certain of the other locations, but the Algonquin location has been nothing but a positive, wonderful experience. I suffer from "I thought I was invincible in high school" injuries and have been seen and treated by multiple doctors, PAs, nurses, imaging and intake and rescheduling employees. It's a huge place, beautiful and state of the art but customer care is just a number and money. I have been in pain, and they never have appointments sooner. They won't even try to fit you in. I have been dealing with nerve pain that is unbearable, but it doesn't seem to matter. I need to find a better place thar cares for their patients. read more

Care is good, but provide yourself an extra hour or more. We've never been seen less than 45min after our scheduled appointment. It would be nice if medical settings would stop booking so many appointments that are quoted at "15-20min" if no one is actually taking that amount of time. Most of my experiences have been good. Dr Izquierdo and Dr Daniels are great. The PAs are good too. I had a pretty bad experience today with Dr Faubel. He acted as if he didn't believe me. He said because there wasn't much arthritis in my xray a year ago not much should have changed. Of course he sent me to PT, but did nothing to address my pain. I wasn't looking for pain medication, I just wanted answers. I felt like I wasn't I wasn't being listened to. He had already formed his opinion before walking in the door. I was a patient there BEFORE. The talk [side conversations of snide and backstabbing] among OTs and Pts are wild. I had a talk with some of the therapists and they all said they aren't getting treated or compensated by upper management. I think they should review upper management and replace them with qualified people. How does more work mean no pay or even help. All these conversation I hear from being on the table being massaged too. DO NOT SEND PEOPLE HERE, THEIR EMPLOYEES AND MANAGEMENT are not right for 2023/2024+. Horrible place . Was charged $ 200 out of the pocket plus $50 deductible for infected finger draining with antibiotic( with good insurance ) . Took literally 5 minutes for complete procedure . I'm a full time student and actually my finger got infected at the hospital during my clinicals . I was asking for the extension period to pay it off as I have no income being a full time medical student . I was reported to collection agency while I was making monthly $50 payments . Arrived at the facility at 4:30 PM for injury express appointment. Very nice lady at the injury express area took my information to see a Dr. raju. Upon telling her that I was here for 2nd opinion for ankle injury, she informed me that I needed to go see the appointment schedulers to schedule an appointment with the ankle specialists. The very nice lady took me down to the appointment schedulers. From this point on appointment scheduler will be known as "her." Her: Who are you here to see? Self: I have not selected a doctor yet. Appointment scheduler: Gives me a puzzled and skeptical look. Self: I am here to see an ankle specialist for a 2nd opinion. Her: You cannot schedule an appointment until the podiatrists look at your file to determine if they will see you or not. Self: So if I had just not said anything about a 2nd opinion, you would be able to schedule me for an appointment today? Her: We would have known by pulling your information. Self: Okay. Questions: How would you pull my information if I had not given permission to do so? At that point all I had provided was my insurance card and contact information. How will you pull up X-rays? How will you pull up consultation advice and conclusions from my 1st opinion? My problem: The appointment scheduler did not ask for any of my medical info. The appointment scheduler was snippy and very impatient and had a dismissive attitude throughout the entire experience. She did not even attempt to schedule an appointment with the to podiatrist. She did not attempt to ask me to pull any prior information on X-rays and prior consultation records. It is my belief that it was the end of her shift and she just wanted to me leave. And gave me all these reasons to expediently get me out the door. I will await a phone call from Ortho Illinois trying to follow up. But I doubt I will get one considering I have not given permission for them to look at previous records and have not provided any x-rays or previous consultation records for them to be able to make an opinion on whether they will see any benefit in seeing me. If I do get a phone call, it will be to gather more information, which is what she should have done right then and there but chose not to. She did not do her job. read more

Went there per a referral from my physical therapist. Have been dealing with tailbone/rectal pain for a couple of years now. Have gone to doctor to doctor with no relief. Saw Dr. Stanley who was nice but clearly wasn't invested in my care. Didn't read my medical history which I brought to the clinic a couple of days beforehand so he could review. When I was there they had me take an X-ray of my lower back. He rushed in, said what did I think about surgery and I was so caught off guard I didn't know what to say. He pulled up the X-ray and started going on about how surgery would probably not help my back, blah, blah, blah. I said did you read any of the information I provided? He sheepishly said no and I said I'm here for my tailbone. Next thing he threw out was removing the coccyx. I was getting aggravated as it seems they are a churn operation which focuses on surgery for money and not patient care. I said no to the coccyx surgery as it is known to be 99% ineffective and recovery is the worst. He said let's get an MRI and have you talk to another doctor here and that was it. Basically another corporate entity out there that's taken over a niche market and only cares about the bottom line. I left feeling frustrated, aggrivated and discouraged. Also, their hours stink. No afternoon or evening appointments nor available on Saturday's. It's too hard for me to take time off during the day with work which further added to my frustration. I will see this other doctor because I'm desperate at this point but not holding my breath. Are there any doctors out there that want to provide a great experience and are committed to patient care? Want to be invested in people's well being? I fear those days are long gone. read more

Dr Izquerdia is the best shoulder dr around. He was able to diagnose my problem fairly quickly. Once I had surgery I was monitored for six months making sure I had a full recovery. I would highly recommend. read more

This is my first time ever leaving feedback on any site but when they said they would have my results in 24 to 48 hours I took their word and I was let down. I had to call them after 50 hours to see what their hold up was and they called back and said that someone will get back to me after the holiday. So it will be a minimum of 150 plus hours before I find out what my injury really is. Nice peace of mind going into Christmas. read more

I was originally told by someone there that they have Doctors who prescribe pain medicine for two painful shoulder surgeries I had from another Orthopedic Surgeon. After two months of red tape to get a referral to get an appointment, I was ultimately told to go somewhere else by some snotty High School Girl who gets paid to schedule appointments, without even getting an appointment to see a Doctor there. My surgery had a lot of possibles going in, which would decide the extent of my rehab. I woke in recovery and could not be told what was done by my post op nurse. Dr. Izquierdo, or anyone else from his team, never bothered to come see me in recovery. I had to call the office and speak to someone there once I was home to find out what the surgeon did. I also requested my surgical report and found I was not told the extent of what was done in surgery. In addition to all this, I waited an hour to see doctor for my follow up surgical visit. I was told upon check in he was running on time. I had to go to check in desk again after 45 minutes to see what was going on. Finally called back to exam room and no apology or explanation given to me. read more

I called the office tonight to get my sons appt time changed.the office girl Alyssa spoke over me and started yelling at me when I requested for the dr to please speak with me so we could get the situation settled. She declined and said she would not do that and stated I would need to call the next day because she didn't want to help. She over spoke me and would not let me get a word in edgewise and I told her do not act like this to me, she then threatened me and I requested the office manager chassies name and information. Alyssa needs to be fired and replaced with staff that actually acts appropriately. This is truly an embarrassment to your establishment. I will be reporting to the ceo of OrthoIllinois. This is for Dr Anand ONLY NOT OrthoIllinois in particular. If I could give zero stars I would. Dr Anand is by far the worst, rudest and unprofessional doctor I have ever met. He has zero compassion for his patients and what they are going through. I had abnormal bloodwork and was referred to him and he told me we would figure this out. He sent me to different specialist to get their opinions and they all said it was a rheumatologist issue and after 2 visits he gave up and told me to go to another doctor or a university. He accused me of wanting opioids which I never even asked for. All I ever asked was to know what was going on and how it can be fixed. He said I was screaming in his office about the way he treated me but I would never ever act that way especially to innocent nurses who are just working for him. So he is making up lies so he looks like the victim. I believe any rheumatologist would be better than him and he shouldn't even be a doctor with his lack of compassion. I liked his common sense explanations for conservative treatment and surgical options if they become necessary . My appointment with him followed a consult with his partner Dr. John Bottros . My fiancé went to them to fix her issue where her arms would go numb. They kept telling her she had carpel tunnel. That was their only answer. To prove them wrong we let them do a Cortizone shot in her wrist. They messed up and hit a nerve, which they still denied to this day. Her hand has been pins and needles for two years now since that day! Found out she has a herniated disc in her neck. It was putting pressure on the spinal cord. Followed my ortho doctor here after he left his practice, told him the first day that the communication and procedures, phone system and even check in was cumbersome and way too time consuming.
