Came here for a prescription for contacts and to get new glasses…read more They have a current offer for a 42 dollar eye exam and they have a 20/20 card. where you get 50 percent off of new glasses and 20% a years worth of contacts. Since my moms a frugal filipino, she wanted to see all her options. The guy helping us was very patient and made sure that she got all the information she wanted. They were very accommodating and they understand that getting new glasses/ contacts are expensive! thanks for your great customer service!

I had scheduled an appointment in advanced online. Where I can select from "avaliable"…read moreappointments. I made my appointment on 6/30 at 5:15. When i arrived early. Waited about 10 mins to check in which wasn't a big deal. The lady during that shift was utterly rude. Ignored customers. Lacked skills to handle situations. I had told her my appointment time she said it wasn't in her system and then I showed her my confirmation text message. She found my appointment and told me I was double booked. She refused to see me that day. Although I had booked the appointment a week in advanced. She was rude about it too with her facial expressions and tone. Aswell as misgendering the customer next to me. I told her I would leave and go somewhere else. Later today I recieved a text message stating I "missed " my appointment. When in reality I was refused to be seen. I took the afternoon off of work. So not only was it a waste of my time. I lost my money. Ever since the previous staff left the current staff does not know how to handle insurances, handle money, makes errors and have zero communication skills. All in all they should retrain their employees or hire ones that are experienced. That being said my family which have been going here for about almost 10 years will not be returning to this establishment. And if anyone were to ask about this location I would say go drive the extra 15 mins and go to arlighton hieghts. This location has gone down hill for the last 3 years.

I could not say enough about how awesome LasikPlus is. Dr. Horn and all the staff here are…read moreunbelievable in the best way possible. I have a lot to say so bare with me. I originally tried to go to 'Chicago Cornea Consultants' because that is where my eye doctor tried to send me. When I went to my consultation I was very grossed out by their facility and found out the only reason my eye doctor sent me there was because he had a deal with them and received money for each person he sent there. I called my insurance company after the consultation (which I should have done at the beginning of this process) and found out I could get a discount through them if I went to LasikPlus. My insurance company (Blue Cross Blue Shield - HMO) made my free consultation appointment with LasikPlus on my behalf which made me feel safe and secure. Right when I walked into the LasikPlus facility in Schaumburg, I felt so welcome and at ease. Getting lasik is a nerve-racking experience and the staff at LasikPlus is next level. Everyone I talked to was kind and open to answering any questions I had (trust me, I had a lot). During my consultation they determined I was a perfect candidate. Not sure if this made a difference, but at the beginning of this process I did not wear my contacts for almost 3 weeks before my consultation and never again after that (I ran out of contacts but this was a suggestion from my eye doctor). After determining I was a good candidate, they told me if I scheduled my surgery ASAP I would get an additional discount due to scheduling early. I said HELL YES, and had my surgery the next week. The day of the surgery was pretty crazy. There was a snow storm (I got it done on January 23rd). Something crazy happened and a man who got lasik earlier that day broke the machine. This meant that no one could get their surgery on that machine for the day. Everyone who was scheduled for surgery that day in Schaumburg were sent to the Oak Brook location since that location luckily had no appointments for the day. I still had the awesome Dr. Horn do the surgery. Even with all the chaos, LasikPlus handled it flawlessly and I was home faster than I expected. They also gave a discount due to everything that happened with the change in location. My actual surgery lasted all of 10 minutes, which was wild. My brother drove me home and I fell asleep immediately. I would suggest getting your prescriptions BEFORE the surgery because we stopped at the pharmacy on the way home and it delayed me getting to sleep as soon as possible. I would recommend LasikPlus to anyone looking to get lasik. I am so happy with this investment and kind of can't shut up about it. I went to my 1-day follow up appointment THE NEXT MORNING with 20/15 vision. Unbelievable, perfect vision. FYI - I would 100% recommend anyone who deals with allergies to get the surgery done in the winter so you don't have to deal with your eyes itching while you are going through the healing process. ****IMPORTANT**** I did not drink enough water or eat enough the day I got lasik. I got dehydrated and after I took my "after surgery nap", I fainted in the bathroom putting my eyedrops in. This had NOTHING to do with LasikPlus and everything with me being on a stupid diet lol. I just want to warn anyone getting this surgery to eat that day. I was completely naive.

I went in and had an evaluation done and they told me I was a good candidate to have lasik done,…read moreafter the exit meeting with Nina who told me that if I scheduled my surgery even a couple of days past the treated quoted day they would honor a $300.00 discount for the procedure. So I scheduled it right then and there but I was not available to get it done on 3/31 I needed to wait until 4/2. So a week before my surgery I called just to confirm that the $300.00 discount was still going to be honored and the man told me no way. Be very careful what they say there and make sure you get it in writing before leaving.

I purchased a pair of Prada sunglasses on December 6. They cost me just over $500 little expensive…read morebut I have not bought anything for myself in years , The young man tried several times to bend and tighten them up to fit my head because they were very loose, he did tell me that I could bring them back if I was having problems with them Offering $1000 reward that help Spring safely I just was not comfortable in them and brought them back, but I forgot the receipt. He said he'd be more than happy to refund my money as soon as I brought the receipt back I was a little worried I didn't have it but thank God I did meanwhile knowing that I had purchased two more pairs and spent about another $700.00 for the two new ones knowing that I was returning the Prada sunglasses. I am a disabled veteran and in a wheelchair so when my helper came today, we went to woodfield I could see the look in her face as we were coming up to the desk of discussed with me being in a wheelchair. People in wheelchair know exactly what I'm talking about. She immediately caught an attitude with me when I told her what was going on and that I would like to return these and get a refund that I had already purchased two other ones that I was even wearing a pair today she pulled them out immediately started saying I'm not taking these back. There are (destroyed) their damage their beyond Repair! They're all scratched up like they were run through a disposal. She kept saying over and over again! I had two of asked her at least 20 times for her supervisor's name and phone number and she refused then kept asking for the store manager she refused LOL. she finally said she was going to call security. I do have all of this on my phone video as Well. Two nice ladies from Macys showed up Not Security and took a look at my sunglasses together, They very cheerfully looked over the sunglasses, including the case, and kind of giggled, saying there was not one scratch on them. They could not see anything not even a small smudge there was nothing wrong with them whatsoever! That they were fine, She also told me since the sunglass hut is a private business and they rent this spot from Macys . and said that was nothing they could do which was fine I just wanted the mirror to document and to see that in fact that there was clearly nothing wrong with these glasses, and at this lady was definitely biased against me and that the sunglasses were just fine which they were then she started to change her tune and say well I will give her a exchange and she can buy more sunglasses! I SAID NO! that is not what it states on their refund policy and there is no reason why I should not have gotten my full refund. She did not even want to give me her manager's name, let alone hers and she made it very clear that all of her employees will be notified that they are not to take any returns from the lady in the wheelchair!

Maybe 3.5 stars but rounding up to 4. This mall is HUGE and has all the fun things from…read moreentertainment, to food to stores and more. But that's also its problem, it has so much and it's always so crowded it's impossible to enjoy anymore. The parking lot is pretty wild and folks are usually making their own parking spots, and restrooms while they do get cleaned often are usually just destroyed with traffic. On the other hand, because it has so many options there's really something for everyone. From boutiques to trendy squish stores, to blind boxes, and even car stores. A little of something for everyone.

Having a lot of time is key to looking around this big ass Schaumburg mall. It may not be as great…read moreas it was but it still has lots to check out. Woodfield Mall is the biggest in Illinois and it certainly isn't a surprise. A crap tons of stores are here. There's also a food court and restaurants. Certainly it has a lot of history. It's the main thing interesting about this suburb. There's a bunch of other businesses and restaurants that have come in around it and it's still got quality stuff after all of these years. As for the mall itself there's plenty to look at. The location is located close to major highways and there's bus routes. Has a lot of impact on the local economy. It opened in 1971 by the Taubman Company and is now owned by Simon. Has a few main anchors. There's currently JC Penney, Macy's, Nordstrom, and Primark. Has a couple of floors. On the first floor is Ben And Jerry's, Crocs, Express, Hollister, Starbucks, and TCBY. On the top floor is Anthropologie, Auntie Anne's, Eddie Bauer, LEGO Store, Uncle Julio's, and Zumiez among other things. A lot of course has changed. There used to be a Rainforest Cafe and of course there used to be Sears. Got to check it out even though it's not like it used to be. It's located along Golf Road. There's a few times it may be sketchy but people usually aren't violent or whatever.
