There's street parking and parking behind the building. Their back entrance is all the way to right, under the burnt looking sign. It smells like shi shi back there, so I would suggest walking around the building to the front entrance. The drinks are very well crafted and tasty! The food is really good! Their popcorn chicken could have used a heavier hand of seasoning. The girls working there are very nice and pleasant. Overall a great place to spend a Sunday afternoon

I'm grateful that although this location is in town, Uber Eats delivers to Ewa! Their popcorn chicken is the perfect rendition of Taiwanese street food. And their braised beef soup??? Oh gosh, the intense bone broth with a hint of anise is absolute perfection. It's become a semi monthly treat in our home now.

Decided to try here and it was pretty good! Milk tea had a good flavor and the ratio of tea to milk was perfect. Only thing I have to critique is a few of my boba were still a little hard in the middle... However, 95% of them were cooked perfectly! I will be back to try the food they have as it looks so yummy!

I still wish Dragon Tea was still in Market City Shopping Center, so I'd be able to enjoy its variety of tea and fruit drinks, but also its variety of Taiwanese noodles, snacks, and other savory items. Just recently, Dragon Tea began offering BBQ skewers, which was enough for us to make our way to Kalihi! Dragon Tea is probably the first tenant to be in that newer building at the corner of Houghtailing and School St. It shares the same complex with Rainbow Drive In, Katsuriki BBQ House (formerly Gyukaku), and Aloha Cones. There's a parking lot in the back, accessible from Houghtailing. You can enter from the back of the building too! Quite convenient! The inside is quite spacious and clean with a decent amount of tables. I like the gray walls that make it look like cement or is it cement (with brushstrokes)? You order up front and pay first. There's a "30 cents" credit card fee, but I'm not sure if they meant 3 (per)cent. Not gonna find out. I get cash! We started with the Braised Dishes (Tofu & Seaweed). It came with seaweed knots, fried tofu, and black tofu that looks like stinky tofu. The seaweed was my favorite. Nice umami flavor. The fried tofu was delicious. Soft and just oozing with flavor. The "stinky tofu" looking one was actually quite good. It didn't taste or smell like stinky tofu, but it had a nice, subtle soy flavor with a hint of spice. For the skewers, we just went with beef. It was all right. The beef cooked a bit too long and became on the dry side, but they were larger pieces, so it was still tender inside. The spices didn't quite come through for me. There aren't too many skewer choices with lamb, chicken, wings, fish balls, hot dog, shrimp, and etc. with frog legs being a unique one. Prices are okay. Seems about the same as other skewer places. The Braised Tomato Beef Noodle Soup was good. Quite simple. The broth was hearty and clean with a nice amount of tomato flavor. Braised beef was tender, and everything just went well together with the tomatoes, radish, pickled mustard cabbage, and etc. The noodles boiled just right. Next was the Braised Pork Rice Noodle Soup. The broth was good in this one. Good clean, savory taste, but there was way too much noodles compared to the broth and other ingredients (three fish balls, shanghai bok choy, a spoonful of bean paste, and a scant amount of braised pork, which felt like boiled minced pork than braised). Since we were at Dragon Tea, we had to get a drink. The DT Brown Sugar Fresh Milk was really good. Creamy, milky, and with just the right amount of sweetness. Overall, this was a decent meal. It was very homey with the simple flavors, simple ingredients, and simple dishes. Location is convenient, and inside is comfortable. Service was good. Food came out quick. I'll definitely come back again to try more things!

Food is awesome here , very fresh food. You can taste the freshness, not the frozen stuff. I'm not a big fan of caffeinated drinks. So I got the winter melon drink here , it's super good. We came right when they opened so the boba was ready yet. I'll be back again , but not right at opening time. I want to try the boba here , I'm sure it's going to be good too.

    Grape Green Tea

Got a peach green tea with no ice, extra sweet, like I normally would because it's good and safe. I repeated my order 3 times over the phone and the man said he got it. But there's ice, and it tastes like black tea instead of green tea. I've gotten this drink of this place so many times that I know it's not the same tea. One thing they got right is the extra sweet. But the moment I picked up my drink from the bag, it spilled. I guess the cover just wasn't on well. Disappointing.

Helpful service, gave me good recommendations. The price is medium, not cheap but not super expensive. Nice food selection with foods not typical of what we normally have here. Tasty drinks. I'm quite fond of the design, but I like the industrial look.

So much better now! Not sure if previously it was because of Covid or just a bad day, but this place is now awesome. Very authentic Taiwanese food. We love this place so much! Great for boba and a snack or boba and a meal. They even have my favorite Jasmine green milk tea which only legit boba places have. The bento boxes and beef noodle soup are all excellent but our fave is the egg omelette with pork. Honestly, everything on the menu is good. We've also had the fish ball skewers and dumplings- all good. This is a casual cafe with walk-up ordering and then you grab a seat. Interior is spacious and clean. Free Parking in back.

    Beef Skewers Spicy

I came in through the back. Everyone was in the kitchen, I think they should get a bell. No one knew I was there until I started taking out my wallet and car keys. Not sure if the front door has a bell or not, I didn't check. Food was good. Slight miscommunication with the clerk. I asked if the fish ball soup was curry. He said yes but I don't think he understood. It was not curry but it did still taste good. He asked if I wanted spicy for the beef skewers. I told him yes, it wasn't really spicy but it was different and good. It was tender, chewy and jerky like all at the same time. Very flavor choice. The drinks were good. I liked the watermelon slush better than my peach green tea. The omelette was interesting. I didn't think I would like it after seeing it in the box but to my surprise, I enjoyed it the most out of all 3 food items. It was very cute and clean inside.

    Jasmine green milk tea

Had to stop for boba as soon as we could. Ordered the jasmine milk green tea and minced braised pork rice bowl. Both were good, but nothing to write home about other than this Yelp review. The minced pork had bits of bamboo in it which was salty and made the already sodium rich dish saltier. It was not Tenren but good enough!

Peach Green Tea with Lychee Jelly

I'd never heard of Dragon Tea until my coworker suggested we come here for an after-work pick me up. Their shop offers a mix of both traditional and unique milk teas, fruit teas, and specialty teas. They also serve Taiwanese street food, bentos, and noodles. Initially, I wanted a milk tea but the cashier told me they didn't have any dairy alternatives and only used cow milk (although it's non-dairy). So I decided to get a Peach Green Tea with Lychee Jelly and 25% sweetness. The drink was light, refreshing, and came with a lot of jellies. Aside from their Hot Drinks, all of their drinks only come in one size (large). They also offer a variety of toppings from your typical boba and jellies to chia seeds and white agar pearls. You're able to adjust your sweetness but be sure to ask the workers since they don't ask upfront. This spacious shop is located in the same complex as Rainbow Drive-In and Gyu-Kaku in Kalihi. A free and shared parking lot is available behind the shops and their bathroom is located outside. The inside of the shop is simple, quiet, and clean, with plenty of tables and chairs to sit at. We were the only customers inside so service was quick and our drinks were brought to us. The tea I got was good, but nothing special. It was great to try a new shop and I'd be interested in coming back since it's close to where I work. I'd be interested in coming back to try their Taiwanese food.

Was recommended to this place from a Taiwanese friend. It's on the corner of houghtaling and school. You can park in the lot in the back where rainbows is. Place is legit - all the Taiwanese snacks and yummy drinks. Got the braised pork bamboo shoot bento. Comes w a tea egg tofu and veges. Popcorn chicken is crispy and delicious. Lemon yogurt drink is refreshing and non caffeinated

So the thing about coming to Fun Station is the "suspended flying noodle thingy" which I didn't go for, but if you like Instagramable stuffs, then I supposed you would probably go for that flying-noodle dish. As for me, I mainly came to try their Minute Chicken Cake Noodles, and as a bonus......... I actually got a 20% discount thanks to my friend - Jennifer C. who let a Bruddah know about da DEALAGES in da Sunday food section newspaper, as they had a coupon! The Sunday morning when I came with my friend, I can clearly see that this restaurant was thriving, as every table in the restaurant was taken. Fun Station specializes in noodles, but if you're not into that, they do serve other items like - soups, vegetable dishes, rice plates, & porridge (jook). Upon looking over the menu, we ordered the following items - 1. Frrrrrrried Chicken Wings ($9.95) for an appetizer 2. Minute Chicken Cake Noodles ($17.95 - minus da 20% coupon DEALAGES) 3. Beef Brisket Tendon & Won Ton in soup ($18.95) What can I say about da grub??? Da chicken wings came out hot & crispy. Although they featured only "flats" vs. drums (I like drums), I must say da wings was nicely executed. As for the Minute Chicken Cake Noodles.........nicely plated on a fancy smanshy panda plate. The cake noodles weren't drowning in gravy, so the noodles stayed crispy on the dish. I really liked how they did this dish, and would easily come back here to eat it again. My friend had the Beef Brisket Tendon & Won Ton soup. The dish looked good, and there weren't any complaints, so I take it that it was pretty ono! Overall, a very satisfying meal and the service here was on point, as the staff was friendly & very efficient. Easy 5 stars for the Minute Chicken Cake Noodles! Chance 'em!

It's tucked…read moreinto a small strip mall, the dining room is no frills and if someone told me it was just another average neighborhood Chinese restaurant, I'd probably believe them. Then the food starts arriving. We ordered way more than we needed and almost everything impressed me. The chow fun was cooked exactly the way I like it. Chewy, smoky and never overcooked. My only complaint was that it leaned a little saltier than I prefer, but it was still very good. The Hainan chicken was the surprise of the meal. Perfectly tender with an incredible ginger sauce that I'd happily put on just about anything. Even the dishes I normally avoid won me over. I've never been much of a lotus root person, but theirs was crisp, savory and honestly delicious. The wontons were another highlight. Since we skipped the noodles, they generously gave us extra wontons instead, which was a really thoughtful touch. What really pushed this place from good to memorable, though, was the staff. We were there with our two and four year old and they couldn't have been kinder. They brought over little toys to keep the kids occupied, checked on us throughout the meal and made us feel genuinely welcome. None of it felt forced. It was just warm, thoughtful hospitality and that's something I always remember long after I've forgotten exactly what I ate. The bathroom situation isn't ideal, you have to use the one outside the restaurant, but that's really my only complaint beyond the slightly salty chow fun. This isn't the place I'd recommend for date night or a long evening out. It's the kind of neighborhood restaurant you walk into expecting very little, then leave thinking, that was a lot better than it had any right to be. We'll definitely be back.
