They turned out great and she was quiet but pleasant I was not pleasantly greeted when I arrived as a new customer but I had read the reviews and took a shot. The salon next door was packed and I didn't want to wait 30 minutes. They had a lot of color options, their services are clearly priced on the wall so that was a plus to avoid surprise charges. Ok first off---- I loved my pedicure with parraffin wax that was amazing and still looks great but my gel manicure many nails have already peeled off 1 week later and it is supposed to last 21 days. I have had gel mani at other spa lasting more than 1 month! Very disappointed However, the pedicure and manicure aspect were amazing and I highly recommend. I took a picture of my nails after they dried, as you can see it is separating because the nail tech put acetone in the finger nail polish right in front of me! So, got a gift certificate for this place for Christmas. Finally decided to use it. Asked my family to go with me. Walked in, the lady at the desk didn't even look up at us at all. She had her headphones in. I said "hi how are you, we are here for 3:30 appointment" she just told us to wash our hands and pick a color. Understandable. All 4 of us sat down, water was scorching hot. We all told that same lady, she didn't say anything. She sat Down and started on my boyfriend. Customer service wasn't there at all. She didn't say anything to him at all, kept getting up for a phone call and going outside. Left hot wax on him for probably 30 minutes then barely cleaned it off. He had to do it. She also did my mom, made her bleed after my mom said to her it was hurting. My parents tried joking and talking to her and she didn't respond in anyway. My mom asked what the deluxe included, she rolled her eyes and told her like she was annoyed. What really tops this experience off, is how UNSANITARY THIS SALON WAS. They didn't sanitize the chairs, the water area after each person uses it, and some tools were used on different people without being cleaned. With COVID going on, sanitizing should be a top priority. read more

Probably worst pedicure I have ever had. I took my family (5 of us) who was in town visiting. The staff was very unfriendly. When I let the one lady know that my daughter also wanted her fingers done she was very nasty and said "well I know that but what does she want done". Very little time was spent on our pedicures, done in about 15 minutes. I have never had one done that they don't even use a scrub on your feet or legs!!! I will never go here again!! read more

I have been going to he same nail salon for years and recently moved so I needed somewhere to go. Multiple recommended this salon to me, and I was pleased to find they are open on Sunday's! The pedicure was great, I got the deluxe with designs on my big toes and it still only cost $35! I get ingrown toenail sometimes and the nail tech was very careful to trim my nails to prevent that from happening again. When I got my eyebrows waxed, the woman said they had been waxed wrong before and very carefully waxed them to get the right shape back, I was so grateful!! I had my iPad with me and the nail tech automatically asked me if I wanted the Wifi password, I didn't even have to ask! I agree with others that it may not be the most relaxing, quiet spa atmosphere, but they do a great job. My nail technician was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable, making sure she added more hot water as the water began to cool down. I came in here today looking for a relaxing pedicure. I'm 6 months pregnant so I really wanted it to feel nice and last. This was unfortunately the place one should go to if they are looking for a quickie on one's lunch break. It was so fast! I even got booted out of the chair when she finished the polish. My feet are not smooth from the scraping since she did it so quickly. A wax was included but like everything today, it was over in a blink of an eye. Well as some of you may know, I have been looking for another nail spa for about two weeks now. And this morning I went by word of mouth and sometimes that works and well this morning for me it did not. I went to one not to far from my house and I was shocked at how much it was, it was cheaper than what I'm use to well.....I should have known better. The lady didn't even paint my whole finger nail and I realized it and got up set and paid her for the manicure and left. I looked up other shops not to far from where I live and came upon this one. And the price wasn't bad, still cheaper than what I'm use to but they were really friendly nice place real clean just great. They corrected my nails from the problem I had earlier today so I was pleased. They did a great job, nails painted completely so I think I've found my new nail spa I'm soo happy...lol. read more

Disappointed. This place was recommended to me by a Mint Hill Native, so I knew I had to try it! I went a few times before giving up, always leaving with the "Maybe it was just a bad day for them," philosophy. 1. They're always busy and will tell you it's ok to come in even though they're packed. This is extremely unfortunate because they rush like crazy to get your nails done. I'd MUCH prefer they tell me not to come in and go in at a later date when they'll take their time. 2. Their gel manicure has come off within a week every time I've gotten it done here. EVERY TIME! For $25, I want it to last 2 weeks, which is how long it's supposed to last. I've gotten gel manicures at other nail places that last about 3 weeks if I don't redo them. 3. After getting multiple pedicures here, I've had to go home and take a pumice stone to my feet. My feet aren't gross at all, and I've never had this problem. After getting a pedi here and my feet dry, there's more white skin all over my heel than there was when I went. All of these issues have to do with low quality of work. Pedicures take about 15 minutes here, when they take almost an hour elsewhere. I don't like the feeling that I'm a nuisance to someone when I'm a paying customer, and that's the feeling I get when I go here. I've been about 10 times all on different days during different times of the year, and I'm not returning. read more

The cosistancy of this place is a ridiculous. Don't go on the weekend after 4 they close at 6 and they will continue to take customers to get the extra buck but your service will suffer. I agree with Julie on this one. It is not the most relaxing spa around, but they are pretty amazing at manis and pedis. I don't get my eyebrows waxed here only because I have someone else do them. Their prices are amazing. They do do they shellac/gel nails for $25, which I think is a way better price than most salons -and the best at it too. I've had the gel polish from other salons and the way Lee Spa does it is better. I would give Lee Spa a full five stars if they did make the atmosphere just a little more relaxing though and if you could add tips to your credit card purchase. I went back in to have them redo them and they were so unbelievably rude to me. None of them spoke to me and the owner threatened me telling me that they would never fix them again for free!!! I used to go to here to get my nails done when the original owners ran it and it was wonderful, however I took myself and my mother here this past Sunday and it was a horrible experience. The employees were extremely hateful and rude and the service was awful. Five minutes into my manicure 2 people walked in wanting their eyebrows waxed so the woman doing my nails got up and took them in the back and never reappeared. So I had to wait until my mom's manicure was over before I could get mine. This allowed me to observe my mother's manicure and I'm glad it did because I was able to see how incredibly awful the woman was to her! My mother has very obvious arthritis in her hands and the technician was very rough with them Then she snapped"Look what you did! You mess it up already!" at my mom when she bumped one of her nails and the woman didn't fix it. When I say snapped I mean yelled at my mom who is the definition of a sweet old lady. What was supposed to be a fun treat for my mom ended up being a somewhat traumatizing experience When it came time to pay for the first time in my life a left no tip. Also, the original owners did so much more like arm massages and heating pads, etc during the basic manicure and charged $12 while these jerks did basically nothing but trim your cuticles and paint your nails while treating you like crap and charge $18 for it. Sorry but if I wanted to be treated like garbage I'd still be married to my ex and be treated like dirt for free. My advice avoid this place like the plague! read more

OK, so it's not a relaxing spa atmosphere, but they give a great pedicure (which includes whirlpool, massage and paraffin wax) and a quick and easy brow waxing. Very reasonably priced and the ladies are skilled and no-nonsense. I don't need the luxurious spa feel, but some people do. For me, the location, quality, price and convenience make it a no brainer. read more

Went today for the first time. I made an appt for 3:30. Granted it is Fri and 2 days before Mothers day, but..... I waited 10 before being seated at a pedicure chair, soaked my feet for 20 min (to beyond raisin feet). The lady that said she was the manager ("Linda"?). Took all of 20 min to do the job, was very abrupt, and did a messy job of the polish. Aaannnd not even a short foot massage- the real reason I go for pedis in the first place! I got there 5 mins early, i still had to wait 15 mins for her to start me, i havnt had nails for YEARS since i work in the medical field, and have 2 small kids, i dont want to scrath them. My mom told me to come here because she liked this place when I told her I wanted to get my nails done compared to our normal place. That was the biggest mistake I ever made. First off I got a pedicure which was nice but the fact that about an hour and a half I touched my big toe and the nail polish smudged and same with the rest of my toes. I mean seriously!! I got my pedicure then my full set, let that dry and I drove home and it still wasn't dry. That is not good quality. Then the person who did my full set. Yes I had too people do my nails, which I find to be a scam to get more tip money. The girl didn't really want to do a clear tip and paint on the french polish on. She was very insistent on my getting the white tip which is less work for her. She didn't round the acrylics enough. You can see that on the sides of my nails. Also they are like arched and extremely thick. I have been getting acrylics for years and these look like crap. Also a couple of my nails have like a yellow tint to them after three days. I don't smoke or tan and those are the only two things I know that can do that to your acrylics. Its a nice place but not worth it. Also since they don't do tip on your card I asked the lady who checked me out, a different one, to break a ten into ten ones she was like two fives and I had to be like no ten ones. I gave each person a four dollar tip which I regret since it was not worth it. Also I went in two days later to see if they could fix my toes for free since it smudged after over an hour of getting them done and they wanted me to pay. I would rather paint them myself real quick. I will go to my normal place from now on. read more
