I have been coming to Olea for about 6 months now & have been working with Jamie. She is AMAZING. Our first couple sessions consisted of her finding stretches and other movements that tend to my needs specifically. Once we were able to locate where the issues were stemming from, I noticed immediate improvement! Jamie is very understanding and extremely patient, as when I first came in to Olea I felt as if I have tried everything else & this was my last hope. Now I can move freely again! I am so grateful to Jamie and the rest of the Olea community!

I can't believe I haven't written a review for Olea yet!…read more My fiancee found Olea for me. I tweaked my shoulder pretty severely the night before a big performance and as the amazing person that he is, he googled Olea and booked an appt for me that night with the session being immediately the morning after. Already, 5 stars for being able to accommodate me within less than 12 hours and he was able to pre-pay them as well! My therapist, Katie, worked with me to fix me and relieve my pain temporarily but the best part was that she gave me exercises and showed me how to relieve pain on my own. That was gold! She was so. freaking. good that immediately after I started seeing her once a month for close to 6 months. During this time she really took the time to assess me properly, work on specific areas and cater my sessions to me + my body. Every session was phenomenal and I really learned a lot. Now I go back here and there. I can go back to get some real bodywork done or I can go back when I just feel like I need a zen, relaxing massage. I love that I can get whatever type of massage that I need in that moment. This is truly a gem in Charlotte! Definitely love the staff and the receptionist. I won't see anyone else. I've gotten massages on various vacations (resorts, cruises, etc) and it's an on-going joke between my fiancee and I now: He'll ask, "Is it Olea-good?" and I always respond, "Nope." because he knows how much I rave about them

Not knowing the area, I looked on Yelp for recommendations and was impressed with the comments & 5 star reviews. I reached out, and they responded promptly. I was able to make an appointment for the day & time needed. The entire experience was 5 plus stars. From making the appointment through the massage & even after. Liz, who was the massage therapist for my dear friend, has reached out to check up on her recovery. Let's face it, you don't usually get that type of care with just any business. My massage therapist was Devonte, and I can't say enough wonderful things about him as well. He was the person I was corresponding with from Dallas & the one who made sure we could make this work. We only had one day to work with prior to her surgery. My dear friends blood pressure was so high that the doctor had said prior to the massage appointment that if her blood pressure didn't come down, he wouldn't do the surgery. Well, thankfully, the two-hour massage was exactly what she needed. She has always had a lot of anxiety, and I knew this was what she needed to get the blood pressure down. Well, surgery went well, and the road to recovery is now only a short distance away. Thank you to Devonte & Liz for fitting us into their busy schedules. I know my dear friend will continue with Black Swan on her road through recovery & I will definitely be back when I'm in the area for future visits.

They did not have me do an intake form or fill anything out beforehand, so make sure you communicate any specific needs if you have them. The masseuse was very friendly and the room was relaxing. The lights were dim, there was a sound machine on and music playing. The bed was also heated which was a really nice touch. Since I'm pregnant, she had me lay on my side hugging a body pillow, then I switched sides. She spent time massaging my back, butt, neck, arms, legs, hands, feet and toes. They charge in advance for the full service, and while text reminders and confirmations they only email when canceling appointments. They do not automatically credit back your card when canceling on their side either. It is on you to request a refund. Also they do not answer phone calls or chat messages in a timely manner. It's a poorly set up system that takes no accountability and neither does the owner. For better customer service, consider Key of Life Wellness Center.

My husband and I call him the amazing healer, because he always knows how to find the root cause of any aches and pains. He then uses various neuromuscular approaches to resolving them.
