I was long overdue for a massage, as it had been about 3 years and I do a good bit of working out and weightlifting, so I had some lactic acid buildup and tightness. I got an hour and a half Thai combination massage and it was one of the best massages I have had. My masseuse was great about asking if the pressure was too much or if I needed more, and working out the tension where he felt it. Since it had been a while, the deep tissue portion was intense, but no pain, no gain! They do complimentary hot stones, which was amazing. The stretching and mobility exercises were great too. But today was the 2nd time I drove 45 minutes one way to find that my appointment was with a random therapist and not Tuy who I had explicitly requested. We had high hopes for Tuy's but we were disappointed. We purchased a 90-minute couples massage, however, the massage only lasted 65 minutes. Not sure why they ended 25 minutes early when they very well knew we purchased a 90-minute session. The music was a bit too upbeat and loud for a relaxing environment. It would have been nice to have a relaxing scent in the room but my expectations might have been set too high. They did an OK job with the 65 minutes. Honestly, we probably would have been able to get over the other things if we just got what we paid for. $219 for a 90-min massage is a good value but not for a 65-minute session. Lizz is absolutely amazing, she might be one of the very best I have ever experienced. I don't give compliments lightly and I can't say enough about her ability to listen, respond and serve. She has amazing hands and an amazing heart. She truly cares and that is felt throughout the massage. She knows when to go deep and when to help me relax. Be careful when making an appointment with this massage parlor. I had made made an appointment for couple massages but canceled the appointment due to date confliction. Called in time and my card was reimbursed with no problem. I wake up the next day and my card was charged again for the same service at 9:30pm. So they took the money off to charge me again the same night. Thank goodness my credit card company alerted me of this. I booked my appointment online with Tuy Massage because I had a pinched nerve in my neck. I had never had a professional massage before this. When I walked into the suite, I was greeted by the owner, Tuy. She was very welcoming and greeted me by name. I originally had booked a Swedish massage not knowing what I really needed to help with my pinched nerve but upon seeing my notes on my appointment about my pinch nerve, Tuy suggested a medical massage for me instead which I agreed to. The massage room was dimly lit, spacious, and extremely clean. Being that I never had a massage before, Tuy explained her process as she worked on me which made me feel even more comfortable. It definitely wasn't how I expected (the typical movie scenes of beaches and relaxation haha) but I felt AMAZING when she was finished. Tuy popped, stretched, shook, massaged, smacked, and pulled my body every which way and relieved so much tension that I didn't even know was there!!! Definitely making sure that I get this treatment at least once per month as part of my self care regimen. I'm giving 5 stars because not only did I get the relief I needed, but she made sure that I was well-informed about the process and that my entire experience was as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
