Relax Spa was one of the best massage experiences I've had recently! I went here because I needed a strong reset after a busy couple weeks of some intense projects. My back was tight, neck was sore, etc. I went for the deep tissue and to get things started, Ria used bars above the table to walk on my back and when I tell you I've never had pressure that deep, it was crazy. That warned me up well and activated my muscles deeply. She then completed the massage from the floor (still with deep pressure), making sure to focus on problem areas. I left feeling rejuvenated & ready to go. Pricing was also super fair for what I got, especially compared to some of the elevated massage costs around the area (I paid like $70-80 for a 60 minute) read more

Wendy did an amazing job on my full body massage. They are so professional. The building is aesthetically, pleasing and clean. The front desk woman was very kind. This is the only place I would recommend in Charlotte. read more

Amazing went so good the way they rubbed me down I wanted to take him home with me! 10/10 recommend if you live in south charlotte! read more

First timers! Come to CLT annually and never heard of this spa BUT it's been added to our list of must visit when we come. No appt and walked right in with no wait for a couples massage! Daniel and Wendy really out did themselves and we are impressed. Try it out if you want to be rejuvenated and relaxed. You won't be disappointed. read more

This is my second time here. I had Ana (or sam) or for a 90 minute massage. She was phenomenal. I fell asleep during the massage. I will definitely be back! read more

Where do I begin?? I am visiting Charlotte and wanted a massage. My friend raved about the massages she received at Relax Spa. As such, I was like send me the details so I can check it out. When I pulled up I immediately thought this is giving " happy endings " kind of spot! It just looks sketchy even from the outside. Now given that why did I proceed,? I trust my friend! She said this was one of the best massages she has ever had!! When I walked in the staff at the front asked what service I wanted. I told her a 60 minute massage. She told me the price. I confirmed that I could pay after receiving the service. I was walked to a room. As I am getting undressed I notice a peep hole in the door. When I tell you if I had on some pearls I would have clutched them! I went over and opened the door to see if I was seeing out or if others could see in! To my surprise others could see in!! When the lady doing my massage returned to the room I asked about the peep hole. She laughed!! I was like mam- I am not laughing. I said we will need to cover the peep hole. She draped the robe that was hanging on the door over the hole. Now again-- I know- I should have left!! However, I really needed some tension released from my back and shoulders! How was the massage? My friend told no lie! When I tell you this woman walked on my back and put pressure on all the places I needed her to put pressure on. She stretched me out and just really had me feeling like a new person. Overall- just know what this is! Don't expect any frills and make sure you have them cover the peep hole. read more

Relax Spa - The peep hole in the massage room I was in! - Massage Near Me - Charlotte, North Carolina

Nice relaxing massage. I got deep tissue and it relieved a lot of my knots. 90 minutes.

I have been going to Relax for several years now and it's the best place in Charlotte! All the therapists do an outstanding job and from the moment I call to come in to the moment I leave the customer service and compassion is second to none!!! read more

I had a great experience for Mother Day weekend with my sister. The staff was very polite and it was a therapeutic massage and experience.

It's important to note the difference between American and Chinese spas. Relax Spa is reflective of alternative medicine through massage therapy. The rooms are private, clean, and quiet. To say this place looks like you'd come for a sensual experience simply reinforces stereotypes, and that's just rude. I had a 60 minute table massage that was amazing. Erica worked through some knots and tension in my shoulders, upper back, and calves. If you ask for a deep massage, expect it to be a little painful by American standards. I could literally feel the knots being worked out of my back. However, it's so worth it! Skip the free bottled water or soda at the end and go for a cup of hot tea instead. I definitely plan to make Relax Spa a part of my self-care routine. read more

A true hidden gem! This was one of the best deep tissue massages I've ever had. They are very professional and the place is clean and quiet. Will be going to again soon! read more

the ppl are so sweet here & so welcoming! I had my massage with ria, she was amazing!!!

Went to get a massage on a random afternoon. Got an hour foot massage for two. I napped and they made my tired legs feel better. Typical low key Asian massage spa. No frills but efficient. I plan on returning. Cost was reasonable. No happy ending tho. read more

Best massage I've ever had! It's a hole in the wall but j strongly recommend I have had the deep tissue massage multiple times now and it's so great! read more

I will be frequenting Relax Spa! I walked in and I was instantly able to be seen. The receptionist was so nice and quick to service everyone. I had called ahead of time and was thrilled to receive excellent phone service as well! I had my first male masseuse today, but was made to feel quite comfortable. Jack was friendly and professional, and did incredible work. I enjoyed an hour of body work with medium pressure, essential oils, and thirty minutes of foot work. I definitely recommend- especially if you are looking to walk in or avoid a commercial location. I will say the only aspect I did not care for was that my towel was a beach towel. read more

I had family in town for thanksgiving' who get frequent massages. They booked us massages here. This place was fantastic. They worked out all the knots I had and used heated rice bags on my back after they completed that area. All 3 of us left our two hour massages feeling completely relaxed & a bit sore from the deep tissue, a good sore. This is the best massage by far I've ever had. I've never felt so relaxed after a massage as this one. We will be back. read more

Relax Spa - Front door entrance - Massage Near Me - Charlotte, North Carolina

While slightly more expensive than other massage spas in the area, they consistently provide excellent massages for both my wife and me.

Been getting massages for 20 years because of athletic injuries and can tell you with no doubt this place has best massage by far. No frills but therapists are always great and polite. And I didn't even mention the price which is way lower than any other place I have been.. I would give 10 stars if it was an option. read more

BEST! I needed a therapeutic massage for a very stiff neck and shoulder, and JACK has magic hands. He worked SO hard rubbing out all the knots and tension. I am grateful for this service and this spa is superior* read more

I have never written a Yelp review for any establishment; however, based on my experience at Relax Spa I wanted to warn others. I visited Relax Spa on Saturday, 6/15/24, for a massage my boyfriend booked. The red flags include: 1. An advertisement stating they offer 10-minute massages for $12. To me, that screams of an establishment that offers "happy endings" 2. Rather than sheets on the bed, all that I had to cover myself was a small beach towel. 3. There was a sign on the wall that stated 'no sensual/sexual massages'. Any other massage place I've been to has never had any policy like that posted on the wall since it isn't typically something that has to be called out in the previous places I've gone. By far, the most uncomfortable and violating red flag was the peephole in the door I noticed after the massage was over and I was getting dressed. This peephole gave anybody in the hall the ability to see me get dressed/undressed and, considering the size of the room, watch me get massaged with nothing more than a towel to cover me. As a female, this was a significant and violating discovery, and I felt the need to reach out to the BBB to make the appropriate parties aware. I regret not taking a picture of the peephole; however, I was so shocked that I didn't know what to do aside from getting out of there as fast as possible. read more

I LOVEEEEEEE this place! I used to have a membership at other massage places but got fed up by the massage therapist with long nails jabbing into my skin. I get the best massages from Relax Spa! I recommend the hot stone massage 90 minutes , its so relaxing that sometimes I fall asleep and then wake up feeling refreshed( a sign of a good massage). All my knots melt away. And the best part is its affordable. read more

They know what's up with sore muscles. The best in my opinion. Clean, professional, just a great experience when I go. read more

One of the best massages I have had. Think the lady's name was Eva. I had a few knots in my shoulder and neck and she worked them out. I also had shoulder surgery a few months ago and she was very careful to not stretch it or move it the wrong way. I am going back so I can enjoy the massage more now that the knots are gone. read more

Well that was unexpectedly awesome. The space was relaxing and quiet. My therapist asked if she can walk in my back. I said yes. And it was great. She used her feet and heels like hands. After doing that she gave me a massage with oil and then hot towel. I'm loose as a goose! read more

Enjoyed a deep tissue massage here to help some back pain I had. Great availability and customer service

I enjoyed the atmosphere the massage and the convenience of this place. I called at 2 and was able to get an appointment at 3. The masseuse did a very deep tissue massage and asked if the pressure was good which I liked. I will be going back to try the four hands. read more

Horrible place. I wouldn't allow my do to go here. I booked an appointment 3 weeks in advance for friends that were coming into town. First they stated there was no appointment. Then when I showed them the text they acted as if they didn't want to service my friends. Then they asked for money upfront. They were rude and unprofessional and I never use the race card but they are by far racist. Disgusting attitudes and I would never recommend this place. Like I said I wouldn't even recommend my dog. read more

Great massage. All muscle pains gone. Would recommend Ms Athena for a massage any day! Thanks

Professional and excellent massage. Travel and this helps maintain my mental and physical health.

Probably one of the best deep tissue massages I've ever had! My friend and I did the couple's deep tissue massage deal. Our masseuses found all of the knots and tension points in our back and shoulders (without us ever having to say anything) and put so much work into loosening everything up. Seriously, they were working up a sweat! We both feel so much better with a lot less pain. They even managed to smooth out our forehead wrinkles, which was a huge unexpected plus lol. We are both from out of town, but my friend told me she would drive hours back to Charlotte just to come back here for a massage. read more

I had a bad experience here around the 4th or 5th tine going. My massage was interrupted 7 times and people were coming in the room. It was weird and unprofessional. But, the owner explained and made sure it didn't happen to anyone else again. I really appreciate that. The therapists are really friendly, consistent, and thorough. read more

Just had the most amazing deep tissue massage at this place. Her name was 'WeWe' and she walked every knot out of my back and neck. Definetly worth the money and definitely will be returning. read more

I got a couple massage with my boyfriend for my my birthday . It was a very nice room and great massage. I found out about the store from friends who go there. It could have more to offer in scented oils in the future maybe, but boyfriend preferred unscented. I noticed they have special discounts in the morning, which could help for those who want a nicebrunch massage. read more

Pricey but excellent. Was able to make a same-day appt. I opted for a deep tissue massage. Was great, yet painful at times-working out my knots in my shoulders. Was not relaxing, but I felt like I needed it. Thanks for the sparkling water afterwards! read more
