I've been to oasis probably 10 or 15 times now I've been getting massages in Charlotte and bigger cities for years and years and I can attest that this is one of the best massage I have received! I have a lot of back issues from scoliosis And some lower back issues as well and the therapist there are no joke! They work very deep and get all my knots out and I feel great when I leave! I know the mall is a weird place to get a massage. I went in there. Extremely tight in my shoulders and back. This is the second time I've went here. Got me right in loosened everything up. I felt great. So later in the week I went in and got a foot massage. Not sure what to expect. It was a little tender. But my feet feel wonderful. Got rid of the inflammation and soreness I had in them. This is one place I definitely recommend. I will definitely be back. read more

I've been coming here for 4 years. It is not glamorous and can be loud, but man do [most of] the employees really know what they're doing. I only come to Carolina Place Mall to come here, and its usually when I have so much tension I can't stand it. Today was my first and last time going to this place. My massage 60 minute massage consisted of a guy laying a towel over my back and pressing his elbow in my back for 60 mins, THE WORST MASSAGE EVER. He then starts complaining about Black Lives Matter, and yes I am a black man. At the end of the massage I asked "Do you all massage with oil?" He replied only the woman can massage men with oil, because men can not massage male clients with oil and that it was not right to do so. Couldn't be happier with the massages I receive at Oasis. I go in about every two weeks for the past year. There is never a wait, the staff is courteous and gets right to business. I prefer the chair massages over the private room as I feel they get a little better leverage in that position. Normally, I get an hour chair massage and the masseuse is a little spent when finished as they give so much effort. I prefer the guys as they are able to really grind into whatever problem areas I have. Not knocking the ladies, but if you prefer less pressure during your session, get one of the ladies to do it or ask the guy to take it easy on you. For the price ($49 for 60 min + tip), you literally can't beat it when you combine with the quality received. I don't rate many places, but Oasis deserves a shout out. read more

This place is supposed to be quiet and relaxing. ITS NOT - bright lights, noise from kids playground, the owner or manager was yelling at everyone and who wants to hear that. She started my massage and kept answering the phone so she could work with one hand. Then she left and had some else finish. Foot reflexology was not what I would consider true reflexology. This was the cheapest best massage I've ever had in my life. I had a lot of upper shoulder and neck pain. I received the deepest chair massage I've ever had. What made it even better was the full body assisted stretching at the end of the massage. I could literally feel my back popping with each stretch and twist releasing so much tension! Ouch- that's what I said about 50 times while getting my massage. The boy kept using deep tissue techniques even though I told him several times not to! My shoulders and lower back had been giving me trouble and he spent maybe 5 minutes on my shoulders and 25 on my lower back/butt which I thought was unprofessional. He did a lot of deep tissue near and on top of the spine which hurt a lot- and nine hours later it hurts in those spots when I'm trying to get to sleep. I bruise easily and yep- I have bruises all over my back. I've had many massages before at different spas and this was the worst experience ever. Will be demanding my money back and contacting mall authorities about their lack of competency. I understand most have limited English skills- but "ouch, stop, and too hard" should be in your vocab if you want to be a masseuse. read more

I have patronized Oasis about 4xs a month for the past two yrs. I usually get the 60 min for $49, and split into part nack and shoulder and part foot massage. The gentleman that did my massage did a good job, but one of the other massage therapist argued back and forth with me and charged me $32 per service for a 30 min foot massage and a 30 min neck and shoulder massage. They advertise 60 mins for $49. I told him I never pay separate prices, and always combine and receive the $49 price. After paying $72 (64+8 tip), I told them it's shame they could do this to me as often as I come there. He just shrugged and smiled as if he didn't care. I have chronic neck and shoulder pain and this place is up the street from my house and that is the reason why I come so often. Honestly, the way they talk loudly over you while massaging (in their native language so you don't know what they're saying) has always irritated me. Not to mention the constant screaming from the children in the play area directly downstairs. I feel very disappointed, mistreated, and cheated as a long term customer. UPDATE: I called the number on their business card and a man answered and I explained my issue. He said, we will give you back $25 ($64 charged-$49). However, when I went in to oick up my money they manager in charge kept repeating "No, he told me nine dollah!" I tried to ask her to call and she refused. I called him and he hung up on me. I tore up the punch card they gave me, which was filled from all the previous times I have come to visit them. I told them I will NEVER come back to their establishment! read more

If you're looking for a very relaxing and intimate massage session, I wouldn't recommend this place. They have foot reflexology & full body options. My friend and I selected a full body massage for 45 minutes. They weren't super busy so this was enough time before they closed. They have you in a massage chair and just use their hands and arms to massage you. I think my masseuse did a great job, but I didn't like the bright lights, talking to other coworkers while I'm trying to relax, and sitting up in a chair the whole time. I didn't get a full body massage because my legs were briefly​ massaged and my feet were never touched. I paid for a relaxing experience and I didn't get that. The masseuse's technique, in general,​ worked well and if the full body experience I expected was available, then I'd recommend them. If you need a quick massage to work out little kinks, then this may be a place for you. I wanted to relax on a massage table with oils, hot stones, and an actual FULL BODY massage​ but didn't get that. Oh, and our massages lasted about 30-35 minutes. We started at almost 5:30pm and were done at 6 pm​ even though we got there at 5:15 pm.​ If they were stopping right at 6pm then they should've suggested a lesser massage time than what we requested. read more

My friend and I came here to have a foot massage - the two male therapists who did our massages were awful - they were talking in Chinese, and clearly they were talking about me, and my friend. I finally told them they needed to stop talking, and just do their job. It is rather expensive for a dollar a minute when they are constantly talking amongst themselves, and not really doing whay they are supposed to do. Not really sure if complaining to the "manager" would help because they do not speak English well. A few times we asked the therapists questions, they just looked at us. I have gone to Oasis Massage many, many times. I have a lot of degenerative disk probems in my cervical and lower spine, nerve pain in my legs, and occipital neuralgia headaches which are killing. I totally depend on my therapist there to help me with pain. He works very hard for what I pay him and I am extremely familiar with massage prices and types. I really could not cope without their help and the price compared to many massage therapists is very reasonable for their work They have always tried their best to help me and I always tip them well. I am very grateful that they are available for me to drop in at any time when I am really in pain. You can explain if you prefer deep tissue therapeutic massage or just relaxation, the latter is not what I need. and it is difficult work. I would always recommend Oasis Massage. read more
