I truly love them both. The moment you walk in, everything feels calm, grounded, and completely zen. Over the past year, I've seen several different massage therapists -- not because I didn't love any of them, but because I genuinely wanted to experience them all. Every single one was wonderful. But after happily "researching," I've officially settled on my absolute favorite... Samantha! Now I book with Samantha every time for the most heavenly 80-minute massage, followed by 30 perfectly peaceful minutes in their sauna. It's become my little monthly ritual, and I look forward to it every visit. The pressure, the ambiance, the warmth -- it's always just right. Already counting down to my next appointment.

But let's be honest: the real magic is Tina. I've been to spas all over the world, from luxury resorts to hidden little sanctuaries, and when my muscles are in full rebellion with those deep, stubborn tension knots, nobody compares to Tina. She doesn't just massage; she assesses. You can feel her mapping out every line of tension. Every pressure point is intentional, every movement strategic. The woman has magical hands and the expertise to back it up. If you need someone who actually knows what they're doing, not generic strokes, but real skill that gets at the source, Tina is the one. I won't see anyone else in Charlotte.

I wasn't asked about the pressure throughout the entire massage, but I was randomly wincing and recoiling at the pain. I could not relax, let go, or drift off. I wouldn't come back here. When I expressed how the face massage wasn't what I expected less than 5 minutes in, I was still charged full price for this service. There were also multiple points throughout the massage where the masseuse was hands off, and not massaging my body to grab lotion or whatever else, instead of keeping supplies handy. I'm saddened that this has been one of my worst "spa" experiences to date.

Rolfing fixes it most of the time.. When I began the ten-series with Jill my body felt like a beat-up jalopy that did not run nearly as well as I felt it should or could. I had lost my sense of center, my body felt discombobulated and as if it wasn't communicating with my brain or my desires of movement. I was stiff and rigid in my jerky movements. With each session my body's flow, rhythm, and sense of unity returned. I swooshed out of her office feeling like a human. The most lovely thing is that the changes that were accomplished have maintained. Unlike other modalities that can just be band-aids, momentary, Rolfing has reminded my body of how it functions at it's best and my body is remembering. And this is why you should call Jill.. your body is dying to remember how amazing it can feel.
