I visited Charlotte for a weekend and needed a massage badddd i came here and the woman worked with me over text for the payment since my boyfriend was paying over the phone from work because i had another place scheduled all day long and then they randomly texted me about 30 minutes before my massage and said the person doing my massage got sick, and then 20 minutes later they said he got into a car wreck i don't know where the lie was in that, regardless i needed a massage so i started my search again i forget her name at candle light but she got me in my immediately and did such an amazing job I've never felt so relieved from back pain in my life!!! I've had 8 fractures in my spine and have metal rods and screws in place and had known that all my shoulder muscles were actually taking on all of the back work and she got IN THERE highly recommending this place! read more

Got 3 massages for 99 dollars on Groupon. Amazing. I had three different people and each time it was great. Will def go back. Worth it. My cousin went with me. She didn't have a good experience and hasn't been back yet but I love the fact they offered her a extra 30 minute massage the next time. I think the guy she had was new but the male therapist I had was so amazing. Omg I get regular massages and it was by far the best. It's in the cut though. I was suspicious when I pulled up because of the location. But it's a nice place. Groupon was a good idea for them because I never even heard of them and probably would never have. And the owner is nice and has a great memory. I spread out my massages over many months because I moved out of town and she still remembered me. I was worried they forgot about my last massage since it's been so long. I just got my last one and it was just as wonderful. Def would recommend them. Decent parking lot. Make sure you keep your eyes open because you will def miss it. read more

Candlelight studio accommodated myself and an out of town guest as walk ins on a Sunday. The atmosphere is clean and aesthetically pleasing. There are however, several down falls to our experience. Firstly, we were asked to pay and tip up front before services. This was a red flag for me--its customary to pay after the service and provide a tip based off your experience. Secondly, we were never asked to sign a waiver and there was no consultation with the therapist to determine what I wanted out of the massage. My therapist didn't even know my name! This and lack of consultation made it quite impersonal and brought this studio down a notch compared to every other place I've visited for a massage. When I was escorted to my room by the receptionist, I asked if we were starting facedown or up. She has no clue and said the therapist would tell me when she came in. I undressed and assumed we would be starting face up as the head rest was removed and under the table. I come to find there is no sheet to cover me on the bed, just a bath towel. Finding this a bit bizarre, I covered myself, face up, with the bath towel until the therapist came in and said "there was supposed to be a blanket" in which she got a sheet and covered me. She told me to roll over to my stomach, we were starting face down. The head rest was never inserted and I had my face smashed into an itchy washcloth for 25 minutes. This is the biggest disappointment to me for the entire experience. However, she (never got her name) was very accommodating and pleasant and seemed to want me to enjoy the experience. The massage itself was average, however my friend said hers was the worst massage she ever received. I prefer deeper pressure with focus on my upper back. A lot of time was spent on legs, which for me is not what I need, so the aforementioned consultation could have been useful in knowing where clients prefer the focus to be. Lastly, no spa products here-- you will be massaged with Jergens lotion and baby oil. Therapists don't wear uniforms either. Not sure if I will return. Will depend on needed improvements to services. read more

Just be aware that the place is real nice put be carful about the time they charge you for 1 hour put they only massage for 40 minutes., About the supposed professional massage my wife do better than that and she thinks the same way about it.,and make sure you tip them other ways they make sure they ask for it !!! Visited today super nice atmosphere. Small, but nice atmosphere. Massage therapists were in regular clothes and super inviting not "uppity" like a lot of spas. Really know what they are doing and perfect for feeling welcomed and relaxed. Will be back read more
