What I expected to be a facial turned out to be mostly a sales pitch. My face was not even properly cleaned before creams were being applied, and the "facial" itself felt rushed and incomplete. They barely massaged one side of my face and chin, and I ended up having to finish applying product to my forehead and the other side myself because the focus quickly shifted to selling me expensive machinery. They claimed the machine costs around $12,000 online, but were offering me a "special deal" for thousands of dollars less if I signed up immediately. The pressure to buy was uncomfortable and took away from the entire experience. What makes this even more concerning is that I later found out two of my friends had similar experiences at this same salon. They were pressured into signing up for a one-year program and purchasing the machinery without fully understanding what they were agreeing to or what the total charges would be. They later discovered they were initially charged one amount, only to later be billed for the full amount, bringing the total close to $14,000. Although the salon claims to have a 3-day return policy, my friends say they were denied refunds when they tried to cancel after realizing what had happened. One of them has repeatedly gone back to the salon trying to resolve the issue, only to be dismissed and even kicked out of the business. In the end, I did not purchase anything, but I still lost the $80 appointment cost plus a tip because I felt pressured in the moment. If you are truly looking for a relaxing facial experience, this is not the place I would recommend. Based on my experience and what happened to others I know, I would strongly encourage people to read everything carefully before signing or agreeing to anything.

I got a little nervous seeing the facials being done in an "open area" but felt relieved when Monika D came and whisked me to a private room for my treatment. The treatment room was very nice with its electric fireplace mounted on the wall, spa-like music playing, and a very warmly heated massage table. Monika explained all that she would do but I could not even recall any of it once she started her amazing treatment. I do know that she exfoliated and moisturized my entire body with elements of massage incorporated. I have had wraps in the past, but this was different. I have had to shower after wraps to remove the applied products but Monika had a technique to remove products as she provided the treatment. I lost count of how many times I fell asleep despite my best efforts not to do so. I was just that relaxed. Monika assured me that my ability to relax to the extent of falling asleep was actually a compliment. I didn't want to fall asleep because I didn't want to miss a moment of the pampering. I left with skin that feels amazing. My only negative comment (if that's really the best description) is that treatments are not "cheap", but you get what you pay for. I will definitely go back (I booked my next treatment while I was there), but this level of self-care will be saved for more special occasions rather than the routine.

I was never into skincare before meeting her, but she really helps me understand the importance of it. She does micro-current treatments - I did one a week for 6-8 weeks and now I go monthly. I also have done medical grade chemical peels with her, which give you a few days of intense peeling, but are so worth the after effects. I get microdermabrasions and skin infusions every 6 weeks or so. I appreciate her educating me on products to buy for my skin type to keep my daily routine up to par to make the treatments worth it. I think this education portion was missing when I tried facials in the past. She is also really sweet and funny, so it's always a good time visiting for the treatments. I definitely recommend you see her!
