Never going back!!!!! I am so disappointed in the nail experience I received from this salon. I want to start but stating that I am not an customer that frequents one salon only for my pedicures. I have a rotation of about 4 salons thatni will frequent. I previously primarily had my nail services performed at this salon but due to various reasons i increased the number of salons in my rotation. I think this is important to state because that salon my not recognize me as a "loyal customer". The first thing that concerns me about a salon is if I am not greeted or acknowledged when walking in a salon. I did not experience either but due to lack of time I waited for 20 minutes because there was only one person ahead of me in line. A customer did walk in after me that the nail tech recognized and that customer was instructed to pick a color. At that point I was still not acknowledged and decided to leave. I was never asked what service I wished to receive and for a pedicure that's kind of important to ask because a pedicure customer can begin the soaking process while waiting on a tech to perform their service. I am just so disappointed and won't be returning. I really used to love this place because of how nice they treated their customers. However, it appears that they now only care to please their loyal customers. read more

Let me start off with based on some of the reviews I was skeptical to come here, moving from California and having the same nail technician for 7+ years and the same eyebrow lady for about 3 years I am very happy I went with this place. My nails are great, shaped perfectly, he took the time to make sure I was happy and corrected any mistakes right away. Even changed my color without ANY attitude or worry. Then when I asked about eyebrows the man reassured me I was in good hands with his wife & he wasn't lying, my eyebrows are BEAUTIFUL! I'm very happy with my experience here and have found my new go to place. Definitely will return and tell others about my experience. read more

I like Pinky Nails for these reasons: They are fast, clean, just re-painted inside so its cuter now, have a fair selection of polish colors that are not old and clumpy, have some mags to read while sitting there getting your feet sloughed and most importantly, they do a great, meticulous job with the painting part. The only drawback for me now is that they have not switched over to the gel polish. While I dont get that type of polish every time, I would like to have the option since I like the people who run Pinky. Never a wait though when I have been there which is a big plus! read more

Just paid $38 for a crooked acrylic fill in with gel color and a rude nail tech Missa .... I should have known to never get my nails done at an empty nail salon on a Saturday. Missa tried to convince me to get a $50 acrylic full set when I refused she got upset . Charged me $15 for a full $15 for gel $3 for cut down and $2 for a glitter accent nail ... When I asked for my nails too be even I was told my nails are just like that.... I must say this place is a mess. I did a walk in , thinking it would be up to par. The acrylic nail job they did on my hands was horrible and to top it off, the lady who painted them, painted with thick top coats. When I went to let them dry, they dried with air bubbles all over them. When I went to ask for the paint to be redone, they only re polished one nail . So frustrated I just paid and left. So far so good. Walked in around 130ish and got waited on instantly. They offer u drinks. I got a white wine. The older lady keep eye balling me bcuz I guess this is her man that's doing my feet. Idk lol anyway it's cool so far. The dollar tree is next door so that's a good thing-go spend sum more money lol. The radio is playing. It smells nice. They have a wide variety of colors too. I love Pinky Nails and have been going there for years. I get the works: Mani, Pedi, Brows, & Lip Wax. I find their prices to be VERY Reasonable. It is in a perfect neighborhood location. The salon is always very clean & lately it has gotten a fresh makeover. The staff is always friendly and I look forward to going there for my visits. I've been going here for quiet a while great work last a good time but today I went and was told I would be attended in 30 min so I waited keep in mind I was in a hurry and had to be at an event at 2, time passed and I was there from 10:30-12:00 just sitting there waiting while there was some workers who weren't doing pretty much anything, new costumers can in an hour after I did and they were helped by those workers as soon as they walk in, I understand they must have had an appointment but in that hour they could have worked on my fill in which I know would have taken less then 45 min. Point being they should tell you the actual wait time and not keep you hanging i was late to my other appointments and didn't even get my nails done, I've been going for a long time and this isn't the first but I was very upset this time. read more

Walked in for gel nail polish only. Staff was nice but I had the most horrible gel polish paint job!! I had like 4 coats of gel polish..Now when I go to my regular place it only takes two coats for a beautiful shellac black color!! Not sure why this gel was so watery and took so many coats. I'm afraid now with it being so thick its gonna peel off quick. Oh well back to my regular place no more last minute walk-ins!! read more

4 stars for consistency. Been to all salons in Ballantyne and I still come back here. The Polish lasts for weeks. The edging and details are always spot on. They are always courteous. The salon is a little older, but who cares. The prices are great. Way cheaper than most salons. My nails always look good and do not chip. I guarantee they do not water down the polishes. read more

AWFUL,,,,,I live out of state, was there on business so they were close to my hotel and they charged my card twice!!! I noticed the next day when the charge came thru and was already home and the only guy that works there said he couldn'nt do anything about it and I had to come in and show him. He said he remembered me and that the lady was having issues with how to run the credit machine. I am livid!!! 60 bucks for a mani and pedi that wasn't even that great. I was their last customer the night before and they were rushing me out of the door. Also their polish needs updating lots of old polishes and bottles and it's not so clean in there.
