I came here in an extreme rush before having to fly out of CLT for a funeral. I searched nail salons near the airport that opened early (they open at 9:30am!). I even bought my own polish to speed up my indecisiveness when it comes to picking a color. My work was very thorough and I will make the drive to come here again even if I'm not flying out from CLT. Treated my dad to a pedicure at Glow Nail Spa. They are currently running a grand opening discount of 25% off. We both got the luxury pedicure. We both wanted the scent Tropical Citrus but they didn't have it so we went with Ocean Refresh and Lavender. Our nail techs were Cindy and Jenny. They both did an amazing job. The massage chair was very refreshing and they offered us beverages. We both got Sprite. I love the set up of the salon. They have a total of 24 pedicure chairs but are set up in clusters of 6. Each cluster has a TV and makes it more intimate. The salon is well decorated and the staff was friendly. I'll definitely be coming back! I've been going here since they opened. However, this time I got someone that was new and he didn't know what he was doing. I got the most expensive pedicure and he didn't give me a foot massage, no exfoliation, no lotion on my feet, and one of toes is jacked up. I told the lady at the front desk and she saw all of it and agreed he did a terrible job. I still had to pay the $90 bc the manager was off that day. I don't understand why she couldn't call the manager right then and there. Never going back again! read more

I visited this salon for the first time today and I was very pleased! It was clean and bright, and a very relaxing atmosphere. I got a luxury pedicure and eyebrow and lip wax. Cindy was my technician and she was fabulous. My feet get bad fast, so they were in need of a lot of love, and Cindy did a great job. She scrubbed hard, but never hurt me. She also did a good job with my eyebrows. And whatever wax they used was the first time my face has not gotten red and inflamed after waxing. I will definitely be back! read more

Poor customer service.... BEWARE, I got builder gel nails. They did not last for two weeks. (Four broken nails). The owner/manager refused to repair my nails for no cost or even half of the cost. I had also already been back within a week to get a repair, as well. The owner still refused to take ownership of the issue and wanted to charge me full price for another set, without even acknowledging the issue with the builder gel. Will never go back.... read more

I love Glow Nail Spa! Katlyn, the owner, makes sure your beauty expectations are met & beyond. She cares about her clients and staff which is apparent from the moment you walk in the door. Just a great vibe in the salon. When I checked out this week, I discovered that I had earned points from prior appointments that I was able to apply to tally & saved 20%. There is a 10% special off any service for scheduling an appointment Monday-Wednesday between 10a-3p, and they are open on Sunday too. They are not just a nail salon; they also offer waxing & facials & brow grooming. I am extremely particular about my nails - I want the polish to be the perfect color for me and the shape too. So far, I don't find myself needing to take a file to my nails to make a correction after I leave the Glow Nail Spa which I have done with other nail salons. I have used several of the technicians and find them all well qualified. The last few times Mai has done a great with my SNS manicure and jell polish pedicures, as well as Katlyn herself. Although I have never had a problem with services, I do know that Katlyn would offer to correct a problem or redo my service for me at no additional charge even if I discover the issue a day or so later. I do love the fact that the salon strives to help you relax and you are not just a number. They always ask if you would like something to drink & even offer champagne to make you feel the Queen you are! I had a great first experience at glow nail salon. I did the Luxury pedicure (gel polish) with Lana. She was very sweet, she was very attentive to anything I needed. I really appreciated how thorough she was with my pedicure. During my pedicure, Mai did my sns nail dip. I really loved how she did my nails, very smooth and not too thick. I went in (and paid for) a deluxe pedicure. Over all not a terrible experience, but definitely not a great one. I most likely will not be returning. The positive: The inside of the nail spa was very nice and clean. The massage chairs are great and the woman at the front counter was helpful and kind and offered complimentary drinks. Prices are comparable with other places around. The negative: The water that you put your feet in was luke warm/room temp at best (I asked to make it hotter but kind of got shrugged off). The male technician (I never did get his name), was somewhat rude and gave me the cold shoulder a bit. The pedicure was very quick and rushed compared to other places around. My nails were cut very short and uneven. The "hot towels" included in the deluxe pedicure were also luke warm. I was supposed to get a lotion massage at the end after the towels according to their menu, I never got this at all and this is literally why I paid for the deluxe pedicure. After the towels the tech said I was all done, I questioned him on it but he was already walking away before I even got up from the chair. read more

Went for the first time and was disappointed with my service. The nail tech did not seem interested in the service and did not seem like she knew what to do when applying the acrylic. The entire experience was ruined by Angela, the nail technician. She was incredibly rude to my mother and had an overall bad attitude the entire time. The receptionist was lovely and apologetic for Angela's behavior. The salon also doesn't have the staple OPI regular colors, which we prefer. read more
